I am wondering if someone can answer this, when you are on an exchange, and you are shorting, is there a way to close your position automatically when you go to bed?
What I mean is say if the price is at $10, and you overnight it goes to $8, and you wanted to cash out, would you put a STOP buy order?

As I'm using an algo/miner switching software (thanks Nemo!), it cannot really be written at miner level.
I'm looking for a script to run at startup that would periodically check for GPU activity and report by email if any GPU drops below x% for a given amount of time.

this shouldn't be too hard.. you can preload a batch file into windows events, and use hwinfo to manage the sensor and then use a simple mail server on the windows to send you mail...

I got 8 gpus (8x580s Strix) running on Z270P.. you need to be careful with how you install everything and making sure updates are turned of, a lot of the times, your drivers are updated, and theyre not compatible with 8 gpus. it took us 1 day but we finally managed to do it, and replicate it on 2 other rigs.

asic coin are always bad when an asic hit a coin, that coin value can't increase anymore or just will be pumped but then dumped again look at litecoin, after the new l3 the price remained there, after the first pump because of segwit

I was finally able to run my 8 gpu rig but I'm experiencing a hashrate issue.
My first card is only reading about 4 Mh/s and second about 25 Mh/s when the 6 others individually are at 28Mh/s .
not stock but running the same on stock as well.
Any help please?
