When bitcoin starts to go up, people sell their altcoins to buy bitcoin. altcoins go down.
When bitcoin starts to go down, people exchange their altcoins to bitcoin, then exchange those bitcoins to fiat. altcoins go down.

bitcoin is the safest bet, but still I wouldn't put all of my savings in crypto, its very volatile and although I know even when the price goes down it will eventually recover but I will keep some of my saving in fiat or gold to make sure I have some money in a non volatile market for fast and emergency situations

Whenever bitcoin goes up green the Alts follow the same.
Whenever bitcoin goes down red the Alts follow the same.
So lets say and speculate for example Ark will be releasing a new website on 30/10/17. Investors think price will go 10x for Ark however on that same date for example some idiot banker comes on tv and say bitcoin is a fraud knocking 35% of its value from bitcoin and knocking 70% value from Ark regardless of its new website.
The question is whats the point of all this speculation when Alts prices are tied to bitcoin prices? If bitcoin is not having a good time then whats the point of speculating on Alts or when will Alts prices become independant from bitcoin prices?
So for USDT Tether seems the only independent Alt

lol, its even worst than that, whenever btc goes down alts dump too, also whenever btc goes up alts decrease in btc value to keep the usd price!

Doubting if i should swap or sell my CV2 and put buy order at 4 sat for COLX looking at the buy orders now...
You'd have to be insane to think anyone would sell COLX at 4 sat, but I'll be happy to watch you try.
Seen it happen many times before. Even selling lower than the price of the original coin. As you can see there is as good as no demand. All the way down to 4 sat, in fact, if i should swap and sell my colx right away price would be 2 sat. The miserable launch will offcourse contribute to this. If there is one thing i learned from crypto it is that there seem to be many people that are selling at a loss. Wich offcourse is good for people like me.
actually I think you might be able to buy at first at lower prices, though you should be able to buy at 2 sat to be the same as buying cv2 at 4 sat now, we will see the biggest rise in the price towards the end of the swap or after that when the extra coins are burnt and people start to buy and lock the coins in the master nodes, thats a market basic, demand goes up and the supply decrease and the price naturally rise.

it is a dead altcoin and it will remain that. nothing can revive it and it has absolutely nothing to do with Amazon, you probably either got some very false information or you are spreading it because you are a bag-holder hoping for recovery of your funds you naively invested in this death trap.
what are the reasons that led you to believe its a dead coin? it doesn't look dead to me !

If you are on a budget, then you need a team. Give your team an incentive to work with you. For example, marketing will get 10% of the allocated coins. You give your coins in exchange for work.

depends. do you have time to manage your ico alone? can you manage your thread? and how much capital do you had or how big the budget for your ico. this is some question that you need to consider
also it will give them an incentive to do a better work to increase the value of the coins they own
