aim wasnt that good though. June now.
still in progress and soon to be on testnet (they say). Lets hope so.

Close the wallet
Open iocoin.conf
Add:
amer.supernode.iocoin.io
emea.supernode.iocoin.io
apac.supernode.iocoin.io
Close iocoin.conf and save.
Restart the wallet.
If you want to use the bootstrap: yes it appears in the logfiles that you are trying to connect to old ip's.
but let it run for a day and you will see the bootstrap is loaded. When loading the bootstrap it also verifys the bootstrap and that can take some time.
In a few hours - on a good PC - the bootstrap will be loaded and up to sync.
Good luck, should be very easy to do.

It is already in the iocoin.conf file. Problem is that it is not posible to keep app running because app is closed in about 10 minutes after multiple ip connect failures.
The installation procedure was: execute dions-aurora-deb.sh, it installs iocoin-html5-wallet-2.0.0-x86_64.AppImage, open app, closed app, extract bootstrap blk0001.dat and directory txleveldb into the direcotry, open app, wait 10 minutes, crash.
There is no log file you mentioned?
EDIT: I found log file in the txleveldb directory, I deleted it but it did not help.

Bootstrap not working, app tries to connect to multiple ip's with connection failed. Syncing from scratch seems to work but didn't wait to finish.
EDIT: Syncing from scratch also failed and the app does not syncing anymore. Bootstrap sync few blocks, then log multiple "trying connection xx.xx.xx.xx:xxxx lastseen=x hrs" and then app crash. Tested on Debian and Windows. So now there is no way how to use your wallet. Can you help with this?

Are there any updates regarding the DEV process? Deadline is coming really close already.. I guess another 7 months of waiting or is the date of the release still valid (until end of june)?
Unfortunately not i think. Since december it's only "we are actively working on the background". I checked Twitter and Bitcointalk but no real updates so far. Neither on Github besides some readme files that change.
You can imagine being so close to Q2 (=apr/may/june) they could have updated the community by now. Website says July though so maybe we are in for a surprise. Or at least say: we postpone another 6 months. Hope not.
So I haven't seen any update yet, but maybe they shared on in Telegram https://t.me/iocoin_official . I'm not in there so not sure. I guess they would have shared it on other socials then as well.

Great that Bittrex has their own app. I don't think it's a wallet as you call it. It's a trading app.
A wallet app is a significant difference as most - like magnum wallet - you have control over your keys.

Volume is low on Bittrex, Fexpro Chineese exchange has more volume. Our community loves to support the network via "staking" and are not willing to sell or trade at these levels. No they aren't. It seems there was only official communication in the Telegram channel and not in here nor twitter or other social channels.
It's postponed. See iocoin.io - timer is gone. More work needs to be done at the wallet so people can use it properly.

update: yes they have an update. A delay of max 7! months. Instead of live at dec 1st they now aim for Q2 2020. So worst case could be end of Q2 (June 2020). Thats a lot of UI work. Maybe they are re-doing the full wallet.
That would be a big surprise and welcome. But there is no official comms about this delay (why it takes up to 7 months more). only a "estimate Q2 2020" on iocoin.io

yeah, as expected. Better have things right in the first place and not rush to meet a deadline. This is how things go. Rather work some time more on it and have it 100%. This just means they take care of community holders. Security and work ethics are good. They have not given a new date yet. You can follow the work in github.com/iocoin/dions if im not mistaking.

It's been exactly 5 years since IOC was announced. 2014! a long way. Much happened.
Congratulations to the team managing to get where you are today. You guys are the true Blockchain hero's in this space.
You all deserve the recognition for this amazing piece of blockchain technology. IOC should be in CMC top 10.
Unfortunately its not, but i'm sure with all new developments, chameleon and so much more the rightful place in crypto will be conquered.

Great news. Our integration with Trezor has been completed, as they have accepted & merged our code. The team worked on the integration for nearly three weeks. Job well done. Next step is for our team and TrustWalletApp (the mobile wallet from Binance) to commence integration.

The development team is currently working on offline signing of transactions. With this feature - requested by exchanges and integration partners - transactions can be signed without being connected to the internet and then broadcasted without exposing private keys. This enhances security.
The I/O Digital team is also preparing for the upcoming World Blockchain Forum in Miami Jan 16-19. We will have a booth and keynote main stage presentation introducing the unique group chat features of the IOC Blockchain and announcing project Chameleon.

Screenshot or it's bullshit. The only thing this "team" has done is literally tweet at exchanges to add them. It's almost a joke at this point.
Although I agree that the low volume and only one exchange is certainly a problem, exchanges are asking ridicilous amounts of btc to get listed. Rumor is that binance is asking around 100k. Since IOC had no ico and no premine it is pretty hard to get listed anywhere. So maybe instead of trashing the team you would like to donate some btc or at least write some helpful advice or something. Or maybe invest in some other coin which had a premine or ridicilously overpriced ico. Fact is that IOC has some unique features and will probably be recognised in the future as a great investment. Imho ioc is present for quite some time and that gives the investors insurence that the devolpment will continue and will not be abandonded. In the mean time you can stake your coins and receive some nice roi
The "no ico and no premine" meme needs to die. That's not a good thing, it's the reason the top 100 wallets control over 75% of the IOC in circulation.
Listening to the top wallets beg for donations is an absolute joke. The total market cap was less than $20,000 in 2015, so I'm sure at least some of the top 100 wallet holders would be willing to pay to get this scam listed on an exchange since they've seen a 1000% increase on their initial investment. Then again, greed is a factor.

Top wallets control a lot because they bought and hold. That is why it has continuously gotten harder to buy coins.
Many here have talked about donated to get things done. This has happened, in spite of Joel not really wanting others to spend their money. Something you would know if you followed more than casually.
The "no ico and no premine" is a point of pride with this team. Whether that is ultimately good or bad, only time will tell, but according to your own post, it obviously has not hurt the coin to this point.
Greed is indeed at play. Stands out clearly when people come here bitching and moaning about what is not happening with the coin and wanting other people to accomplish something so that they can gain the benefit.
So many post where people claim a coin is a "scam', yet they are interested enough to post about it. So, who is trying to scam who?
IOC is what it is. The team is working at the pace they can work at, accomplishing what they can accomplish. It will happen within the timeframe their abilities will allow.
There are ways to be constructive and help if you truly want to.
If you have the ability to program, volunteer to help. Costs nothing but time. If you know how to get coins listed on exchanges, volunteer to help. If you know how to effectively market a project, volunteer to help. These would add value.
If you don't have any of these skills, simply pissing and moaning on the forum does not help. In fact, it truly brings nothing to the table, except the fact that you want other people to work harder so you can earn the benefits, which brings us back to greed. We agree on one thing, at least!
