I have checked the links and read the articles thoroughly, and by the looks of it, it does seem like a positive thing that will happen to not only to the coin but will benefit the market too.

The problem with ripple is that many people cannot really rely on them. There has been extensive number of controversies around them and they have failed to provide any valid proof against it. So, I would definitely love to choose ETH over Ripple anyday. I still believe there is a lot of room available for ETH to bounce back into the market.
