Re: Seeking Passive income offer with low risk

I would check

If you hold Bitcoin BTC and want yield -> NEXO

If you hold Ethereum ETH and want yield -> Lido Finance or Kraken

Remember that all of the above examples introduce counterparty risk.

For example, before you deposit to Nexo you should be aware of Celsius, BlockFi, and other similar companies that failed.

It's up to each other if they believe the interest rate or staking reward is worth the risk taken.

If you are about to deposit into 3rd party companies, make sure you don't deposit 100% of your funds into 1 single company at least.

Re: Funding rate
by

Take note also that some traders are taking advantage of this funding rate, and some of them are making money because of the funding rate, I am not sure how they can do it but that is common I can see in some discussions of traders.
Maybe funding arbitrage where you will use more than 1 exchange, where you can open long and short trade positions on separate exchanges while the funding rate is different will make you profit off the funding rate.
Perpetual contracts are derivatives designed to track (or peg) the spot price.
So, if buyers push the perpetual contract up in price something has to be introduced to push the price against the spot price again.
Here, perpetuals are designed so the short sellers are getting paid (by long takers paying the funding rate) to take a position to push the price down again toward the spot price.

Here, traders who are going to take a short position anyway can take advantage of getting paid by taking a short position.

Are you looking for futures trading from the US?
If so, check BTCC and BYDFi

If you are looking for non-KYC, MEXC Global has the most generous withdrawal limits.

If you want to go for a DEX I think GMX still doesn't require KYC

Kraken - Good site for US traders

BTCC - Good site for US traders looking for futures and leverage trading. Great signup bonuses

Binance - Probably the best overall crypto trading site but doesnt allow US traders

Bybit - Great trading platform for perpetual trading. Great signup bonus

Bitget - A new upcoming and challenging platform. A lot of focus on copy trading

MEXC Global - Appreciated for high non-KYC withdrawal limits

Any site can fail for a numerous of reasons, self-custody is always the number one choice to store you cryptocurrencies.

Always start with spot trading.
If you want to try leverage trading after this, start with leveraged tokens (no liquidation risk)

Always remember, leverage trading is for short-term gambling and not long-term investing. Your funds will get wiped out from fees and volatility decay if you hold leverage positions for long time.

Traders are only liable for funding payments in either direction if they have open positions at the pre-specified funding times. You are not liable for any funding if you do not have a position. If you close your position before the funding time, you will not pay or receive any funding.

Its not about you holding the contract for 8 hours, you must close it before the pre-specified funding times.

Also, remember due to the design of perpetual contracts and funding rates you can end up getting paid the funding rate

Open Binance, on the left side you will see "Earn", you will see so many options for generating passive income! And not just Binance, other exchanges have that too! I guess many multicurrency wallets have some staking options now, I am using Atomic wallet for some coins, for example! From casinos where you can earn from dividends to exchanges and wallets, there are so many different ways to make some passive income in crypto!
And numbers are simple to understand, and everything comes down to your bankroll and the level of risk you are willing to take!

I agree Binance has many options for passive income. I am using it exentsively.

For people signing with Binance: Remember to get a 20% kickback referral code if you are about to sign with Binance, Here is one: Q06V9V1I

⭐ Merited by LeGaulois (1) ,Hydrogen (1) ,Darker45 (1) ,Joshapat (1)
I have been trying different kinds of sources to generate passive income from cryptocurrencies

What did I use?

- Interest accounts from Nexo, Celsius, Crypto_com, BlockFi, Swissborg, YouHodler, Nebeus, BTCpop

- Liquidity providing on Uniswap and Pancakeswap

- Staking on Binance, Kraken, Binance chain, Mycointainer, Matic, Perpetual Exchange, Synthetix, 1inch

- Cloud mining from Genesis Mining, ViaBTC, Hashmining24

- Yield farming on Pancakeswap, Pankcake Bunny

What do I still use and why?

Nexo because they have good interest in Stellar XLM and Ripple XRP (up to 8%)

Celsius because they have a good yield on Matic (around 10-14%) and BAT (around 3.5%)

Binance because they have so many different earning products, including staking on ADA and DOT

Crypto_com because they have the best interest rate on Bitcoin for the moment (up to around 8%)

Swissborg because they have great interest rates for USDC (up to 14%) and ETH (up to 7.5%)

Uniswap because there is a great yield on some liquidity pools like YFI/ETH, LINK/ETH, COMP/ETH. Remember to understand the risk of impermanent loss here.

Synthetix because they have a platform with great potential and great interest rate (around 30%)

Perpetual Exchange because they have a platform with great potential and great interest rate (around 95%)

Kraken because they have a great reputation regarding security and regulation (not the best rates though)

Matic because the project is great and the interest is great

1inch because the project is great and the interest is great

What did I stop using and why?

Cloud mining because the business model is very hard to review and historically it's very hard to be profitable

Pancake Bunny just suffered from a hack. However, it might be time to consider joining there now again because they have improved

Nebeus, YouHodler, and BTCpop I just stopped using because it's hard to have too many platforms to keep track of.

Hello guys, how to start trading on the crypto exchange?
I would like to hear the opinions of professionals people.

Binance is the best crypto exchange if you are from outside the US.

If you are from US, Coinbase, Kraken or Gemini are good.

Why is Binance the best crypto exchange?

1. Binance has the most trading volume
2. Binance has the lowest fees. Get even lower fees with this code: YZCT9493
3. Binance has the best trading features
4. Binance has great liquidity, low slippage and tight spreads

You can read more about Binance on Cryptocointrade.

Re: Futures leverage trading advice requested
by
cryptocointrade.com
on 06/05/2021, 06:17:03 UTC
Hi there,

I hope I am posting into the right section. I did a few futures leverage trades on Binance never above 4x. I wanted to ask if traders keep a long position open for over weeks and months? If yes are they paying many fees? With which option it is the best to open a position which you may want to keep open for a very long time?

I heard to use the option "post only". But I am not an advanced leverage trader so i would be very thankful for some insights and tips.

If i go with the option isolated then in the case of liquidation only my initial margin will be lost right?

thanks for any help or tips

tred

The simple answer is NO. Leverage trading is for short period of times like hours and days. Maximum weeks.

Why?

You need to understand these concepts to know why

1. The difference between isolated margin and cross margin
2. The volatility decay
3. The fees charged to keep the leveraged position (Margin interest fees)
4. Settlement interval

Hello Guys, I am new to the crypto market.  How to trading in the Binance exchange or other exchanges...?

HI

Binance is the best choice for crypto trading if you are non US trader. Binance has the largest volumes, most trading pairs, lowest fees and best trading features.

How to start trading with Binance?

1. Make sure to find the best referral ID which will give you -20% on all fees charged by Binance. You can use this: YZCT9493
2. Make the KYC
3. Deposit fiat or crypto to finance
4. Buy crypto or stablecoins
5. Now you can trade. Below I have listed some different trading instruments on Binance

Spot market: Simple exchange, you swap 1 crypto for another
Margin trade on spot market: Spot market but with leverage (Isolated margin or Cross margin)
Futures trading on Binance: Bet on the future price on different cryptocurrencies. These expire a certain date
Perpetual trading on Binance: Futures but with no expiration date
Leveraged tokens on Binance: A simplified version of leveraged trading

As we know the price of ethereum was increasing. Today I was searching for ethereum price but I see the ethereum price graph and the price was low. So, Is it safe now to invest in ethereum? Can I still earn profit from this coin? What should I do? Should I wait or not?

Look at Coinbureau and Bitboy on Youtube. They are belling very much in Ethereum and also they argue why.

it is so funny to see some of the names in the picture the starter posted considering that they were talking so negatively about bitcoin not so long ago. like the stuff JP morgan was saying about bitcoin and how it is going to die. now they are all predicting some high price and all at random numbers without any speculation since they seem to just want to be on the band wagon and nothing else.

Sooo true. I just read Bloomberg did make a prediction of $400.000.

One thing you need to consider is this. This rally seems to be over-extended anyways however another leg up or two is possible. However keep in mind that if everybody is at least expecting >$100K most likely it won't happen. Well it might but not in the way most people think.

I think there is going to be massive selling pressure at $100K because its where most people want to take profit. Especially the people that bought at $20K. So there is a good chance that it might come close to $100K like $90K and head back down. Then we might get some mini bear market where it retests $30K or $20K and then in a year or two it might break $100K.

Right now there is just way too much bullish people and in the end you know how it ends up.

Yes I agree. However, the reach to $100.000 will not come from anywhere. There have to be big announces from either Apple, Netflix, Blackrock or something with the same dignity.

Imagine a situation where 1-2 big players announcing Bitcoin buys and at the same time some central banks are raising the interest rates...

What will happen?

Will people sell stocks to fiat or sell stocks to crypto

I dont know...

Interesting, but are all major predictions over $100,000? Because I feel like the predictions under $100k are missing.. Anyway, very interesting to see many big corporations and names predicting large sums over the next few years. Although I think JPMorgan's is very modest, considering we are eight years away from 2029.. yet we're already almost half-way their prediction.. And we all know how much BTC can move within 8 years Cheesy

Thanks for the comment. The correct time estimation for JPMorgan is "longterm". I have changed it in the text format now. Its harder to change it in the graph Sad

You should add the source to the information explicitally. There’s a weird habit of leaving it out, which will lead to surprises in the short term:
https://www.cryptocointrade.com/fundamental-analysis/top-5-bitcoin-price-prediction-charts-for-bitcoin-halving-2020/b

Additionally, one should at least provide something of their own on the content (i.e. opinion, criticism, question, scepticism, whatever …).

I’ve been seeing so called predictions for some years now, mostly way above market price for what was expected. Probably, most of them are wishful thinking, with the hope of seeding in people’s minds large figures in self-benefit. Some will obviously get it right, but it’s pretty much a guessing game.

Thanks for the comment.

I agree that it is a guessing game. That is why it is interesting to see many guesses. By analyzing, or collecting, several guesses you can create your own opinion.

In the end of the day the Bitcoin price will be whatever we think / want it to be. There is no single authority that can manipulate it (maybe in short-term).
