I don't think it is good idea to invest ICO as most of them are scams. It is better to invest in bitcoin and starts collecting rewards from those hardfork coins.
but why?you don't think that blockchain has a pratical future in our lives?

yes you are right ,, now lots of new ICO.
it will make us a little confused to choose a good ICO and we deserve to believe to be an investment.
but for me it will only choose a good range of ICO and worth to invest.
because usually if the ICO is good, the team will continue to work on developing and optimizing existing projects. it will make us more fortunate than having to choose to invest in all ICO.

not all the ICO that has bad collection was unsuccessful
so yes, as you say, if team is good, they will continue development, and one day, it will give a big profit 
I would usually say hold ETH, but with the current traffic problems I just might change my mind.
soon will be the correction, soo if you have a very big amout, maybe t's better to sell
I can say that INS ECOSYSTEM price will hit 5$ each on the middle of 2018. At the end of 2018 maybe will hit 20$ each. Just think about it, their project in the future is really good, it's not impossible to reach 20$ by the end of 2018.
I hope you are right so much!!! this one looks like the safest investment on altcoins! the idea is great, team is strong, support is enormous!
I have a few with reasons.
1. Cardano
Reason: Promises better network protocol than Ethereum. Has an upgraded contract functionality. No transaction fee(or little). Secured Network, Short and recognisable wallet addresses. Lightning speed.
2. Lisk
Reason: They plan to launch their rebranding in February 2018 and also the SDK for mobile platform. We've heard rumours of Google partnering with them(not official)
3. INS
Reason: The ERC 20 Token planning to give amazon Europe a run for their money. Introduction of Blockchain in retail deliveries of goods. The have an ICO currently running at low price. once it hits HitBTC Exchange it's going up 100% in 1 week.
These are my personal views, you can choose to differ.

I agree with you about Lisk and INS specially... But not Cardano... I tink you should look to universa, and iota they are the future, and will moon in 2018... I think you still can buy some Universas token very cheap
Litecoin for sure. The only one crypto known enought that can be used for small transfers like cofee-groceries-beers etc. IMHO BTC will be used like "reserve currency" sort gold/etc nowadays ("value storage"), and LTC for transactions like USD/EUR in few years.

It was promising project all from scratch but I don't know man, I think it won't do moon. These tokens all flooded ethereum ship are getting less and less popularity. But I still wait to see good hype with INS..

They're started this really good. I can't stop thinking it's so easy for INS toke to be sold. This project is promising and i think the price will be fantastic. Like what they say INS gets strong support from producer. behind it all, the INS provides that security can be seen from escrow support

Sell ETH to buy BTC maybe is not the best idea.. try to have some capital into several coins... Market is imprevisible, soo you will never know what is the best for the future, but if you will have both, you will never lose with that
