More and more serious players are entering the market. Shouldn't it drive the price up already? A few years ago the increase in demand for gold in India and China caused a major gold upward trend. Shouldn't bitcoin work under the same economic principle?

Many share his opinion and it is predictable. Its like with oil: for as long there is oil, nobody would switch to producing electric cars. For as long as governments and large companies use only fiat, he does not see a future in bitcoin.

Re: When will the USA pay their debts, if ever?
by

I think they can keep printing money for many years and major conflicts like against islamic state for example, only help the economy. As many countries owe money to the US as US owes to them, so in the end the national debt is kind of balanced.
I Have never being a Apple fan But on the other hand if some other great Companys Accept as payment,I would be Over the Moon!!
They will surely take a slice of the market as they probably will pre-install applepay on each apple device from now on. Each iphone/ipad has to be registered with apple, so they already have hundreds of millions of potential applepay customers.

If the bitcoins were stolen through Mt.gox, how would this information help? Mt.gox has apparently lost all the bitcoins anyway.

Despite of what many big companies hoped in the past few years, bitcoin did not die. So the likes of PayPal have to think how to get a piece of the action or at least to try to be close to it.
