The coming of the Binance Smart Chain(BSC) is a welcome development for the cryptocurrency world of business without which ETH gas fee would have continue to skyrocket without option. BSC has provided a good competitive alternative for the development of cryptocurrency in the 21st century

Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins
by

From the recent development in the price of BNB in the crypto market, I think BNB will soon take over the kingship of all crypto coins, first of all it will beat Ethereum because of the high gas fee in the Ethereum blockchain. There is a lot of factors to attest to this fact.

Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters
by
cryptogeek101
on 02/07/2020, 01:42:06 UTC
I know this have been discussed several times on this forum but yet I will like to drop this again, I'm sure few new developers are among us here, so here we go

It will be a whole new story if new projects can start paying bounty hunters in USD or stablecoin, this have few advantages over paying with your own tokens, if new projects find it as a most for people to try out their new Blockchain they should use airdrops instead, airdrops has the lowest rewards, hardly to get 2$ in airdrops today

As for bounties please start paying in USDT, DAI or USDC, this will erase your sense of 'bounty hunters are killing new projects' idea

Yes, paying in USDT,DAI,USDC or any other stablecoins to bounty hunters is a welcome development for the bounty crypto space, this will go a long way to make things easy for the bounty hunters, because they will not be selling the new tokens cheap so as to raise funds

Re: How reliable is crypto payment?
by
cryptogeek101
on 02/07/2020, 01:27:21 UTC
I thought about the use of cryptocurrency by merchants for day to day trade settlement. When combined with fiat, it gives customers a lot of options and flexibility to chose how they transact. On the flip side, I am also thinking that crypto volatility could poss a lot of dangers and issues when adopting crypto for payment.

What do you think about the future of cryptocurrency payment, will conventional altcoin (non-stablecoins) have a chance or the race will solely be won by stablecoins?

I think cryptocurrency is an amazing payment option in this 21st century, it has helped made global payment easy and faster, I believe cryptocurrency is the future of the world finance. Conventional altcoin has a better chance with its stablecoins counterpart in driving payment

Re: Clubs fan token now in crypto market
by
cryptogeek101
on 30/06/2020, 15:53:14 UTC
I just checked on coins recently added on coinmarketcap yesterday and I noticed something slight different in the cryptocurency ecosystem. I saw a series of European Football Clubs token as a trading asset, all are listed on one crypto exchange www.chiliz.net

Here are all the football club fan tokens
1. Galatasaray Fan Token(GAL)__ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/galatasaray-fan-token/markets
2. FC Barcelona Fan Token (BAR) __ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fc-barcelona-fan-token/markets
3. Paris Saint Germain Fan token(PSG) __ https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/paris-saint-germain-fan-token/markets

I have been able to come up with questions to ask here.

*What are the purpose of chiliz teams listing these clubs token on their exchange.?
*Are those official football Clubs aware of this, if the exchange is practicing impersonation?

Listing fan club in the cryptocurrency exchange, I think is a welcome development however talking about impersonation is a whole different affairs. So we have to carry out serious investigation into the matter to  verify the legality of the action taking by Chiliz exchange

Re: Crypto Volatility is good but...
by
cryptogeek101
on 28/06/2020, 01:37:50 UTC
Volatility is part of what defines Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies. As the industry matures, the rise of cryptocurrencies that tracks the performance of less volatile traditional assets like real estates and commodities will likely bring a lot of beauty to the cryptocurrency industry. I believe that a mix of more volatile crypto assets and less volatile assets will give traders a lot of options to enjoy while trading.

I quite agree with your humble opinion and that is what is really happening right now in the crypto space, a mix of volatile and less volatile(the so called stable assets) cryptocurrency are evolving in the crypto market. I believe that the mix will bring a reasonable balance to the crypto ecosystem

Re: Crypto online stores?
by

on 27/06/2020, 16:12:39 UTC
Im looking for information about stores (online) that accept crypto for payment where I can shop and get items delivers to my country, something like Amazon kinda, thanks

I think the best thing to do right is to do a Google search using the key words like ''crypto stores online'' but you have to do it diligently because some projects might be scam which that might ruin your day. You might be surprised the number of Crypto stores that might be very ready to make delivery to your own country

Re: DONT MARRY YOUR ALTCOIN BAGS
by
cryptogeek101
on 27/06/2020, 09:44:13 UTC
altcoins are great for flipping for more btc but dont every marry a coin. When btc goes on a run past all time highs you dont want to be bagholding ALTS. You will watch them get crushed. I personally was bagholding alts from 4k-20K and they got demolished I even had friends saying man you must be doing well with those bitcoins you have Cheesy In the end alts went nuts and I did well but If I would have waited till BTC topped out I would have made more. So moral of the story there is dont marry a coin/project they and watch your btc shrink get in and get out after you make decent profits. Sure sometimes you can buy an alt an maybe 10x-100x on it bagholding, but there is 1000s of coins out there that wont make those type of gains. Anyway do whats best for you but dont be that guy married to a bag watching btc head to 50-100k or whatever the top might be

I don't think anyone is marrying any altcoin however sometimes you need to hold your altcoins for a future greater benefit. Most altcoins are good to keep because you regret selling them cheap. Personally I am not happy not holding my Horizen(Zen) tokens because the price has soar now past when I sold them.

Re: Is Ethereum too tied to Vitalik Buterin?
by
cryptogeek101
on 27/06/2020, 08:03:01 UTC
Ever since Ethereum came into inception, Vitalik Buterin has been leading the way for the project's success. While I have nothing against this, sometimes I think it defeats the purpose of crypto in its entirety. There's a reason why Satoshi created Bitcoin in the first place without revealing his/her identity to the public. The fact that everybody knows who created Ethereum, could greatly put the project at risk in the future. For instance, if Vitalik dies or something bad happens to him, the price per Ethereum could plummet on the market. Everything Vitalik says has an impact (either directly or indirectly) on the project itself. With Bitcoin, that's not the case since no one knows who Satoshi was. His/her contribution led Bitcoin to take its own steps after he/she left the project. If Ethereum wants to become a truly decentralized cryptocurrency, the project needs to distance itself from the founder.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Ethereum is too tied to Vitalik Buterin? If not, please explain why. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I think Vitalik Buterin despite being a co-founder of Ethereum blockchain, might not have much negative influence on the blockchain, I believe there are some other developers involved in the project which i think can handle the project in the event of the death of Vitalik. The Ethereum blockchain is purely a decentralized blockchain with smart contract applications and developers are ready to continue with the project to achieve its future positive goals

Hey guys,

So I'm pretty new currently own some Ada, Vechain, ZIL RSR and Flexacoin.  Considering exchanging one of these for Dent, and maybe BAT.
I'm not into Bitcoin really but looking for a high reward possibility coin.  ANy insight or thoughts on any of these? or any high reward/risk ones you guys like?
I don't have a huge amount invested, but thinking about just going all in on Cardano and just holding to save the stress of looking any different ones.

WOuld love any tips or suggestions.  I like CHarles- Cardano alot, I really get the vibe they are onto something big....

I will advice you do a due diligent study of the kind of crypto investment you want to put in your hard earned money however I would want to suggest to you; Horizen token(zen). I think it's a good investment to try but always study your investment before you leap

Re: Ethereum's biggest contender?
by
cryptogeek101
on 26/06/2020, 16:40:00 UTC
So many smart contract platforms have emerged over time, ramping up the competition for ETH. Some have claimed to be the "Ethereum Killer" (like EOS), only to fail altogether. While none have been compared to ETH in terms of decentralization and reliability, there are some projects which aim to base their development on an academic level. One of those projects is Cardano. With a focus on PoS and decentralization, it could become ETH's biggest contender in the future. Other projects like EOS and TRON may have already adopted PoS, but they're inherently centralized. Which is why, I strongly believe that Cardano could topple ETH in the not-so-distant future.

What are your thoughts? Will Cardano become Ethereum's biggest contender? If not, which smart contract platform do you think it will? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Smiley

I don't think Cardano would contend with Ethereum because both of them have different blockchains and different purposes of creation. Ethereum has been in the crypto space before Cardano so it has gained more adoption than Cardano,so there was no way it will topple Ethereum

Re: Enough of repetitive projects and old ideas
by
cryptogeek101
on 25/06/2020, 18:00:07 UTC
Many new altcoins will die in the future because there won't be many investors investing money on them and as we know it we have many scammers here who will keep creating useless tokens and coins, if you are a developer and you think you are serious enough then try as hard as possible to come out with something new and different, enough of repetitive projects and same old ideas

Bring in something NEW or don't bother at all

I think your opinion about bounty projects is quite interesting, bounty managers should be very innovative in their course of creating bounty projects. The only thing we know that's constant in life is change, and this is quite applicable to the crypto space. Managers should be creative and bring in new project ideas to the crypto world

Re: Read and Learn bounty managers

New bounty managers, watch and learn, Here are the words coming from a very good bounty manager who knows what he is doing and only cares about his reputation a.k.a bubbalex, someone asked on telegram why bubbalex haven't introduced any new bounty project since Cartesi which was a bounty from 2019, here is his answer

Unfortunately, I have not yet found a good new project to launch a bounty. There were several opportunities to launch campaigns, but projects that wanted to order my services did not meet my standards, I would not want to launch a campaign for the campaign, with a project whose tokens have no real value.

https://imgur.com/x0I25y2.jpg

I hope other bounty managers learn from this guy, he chooses quality over quantities, the first bounty manager that turns away some bounties to safe his reputation.. a round of applause for bubbalex

This is a welcome development for Bubbalex; the bounty manager. I think reputation is the key word in the current crypto space. All other bounty managers should emulate the good image of Bubbalex so as to keep the bounty space healthy and safe.

Re: Why did dogecoin survive?
by
cryptogeek101
on 25/06/2020, 07:23:08 UTC
If I'm correct, it's almost the same thing with bitcoin? It reached 0.01$ once but since then, its price is decreasing.

Dogecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrency is the crypto space, I think it survived because of the team handling it however it failed to grow because of its high supply and very low demand curve in the market

Re: Prove that Crypto mass adoption is getting in place

Do not rely on this, it's just a news that could or could not happen, Yesterday news broke regarding the strong possibility that PayPal and Venmo, the two notable fintech companies are both moving to add direct crypto and Bitcoin trading capabilities to their users, what do you think will happen if this comes true??? I like the fact that this is happening and DeFi projects are doing their thing too

I think it's a welcome development for such a thing to happen at this period of time,it's an indication that cryptocurrency is gradually taking over the entire financial world of business. In fact with bitcoin interface in these two payment company means massive adoption of cryptocurrency

Re: Can Binance beat Ethereum
by
cryptogeek101
on 23/06/2020, 04:07:49 UTC
Binance coin was hit to Coinmarketcap around 25 Jul, 2017. At the time BNB was trading nearly $0.10 with 10 Mln USD market cap, trading at its own Exchange Binance. whereas at the same time Ethereum was trading around $225 per Eth, having more than 21 Bln USDT Marketcap. Later on Ethereum Blockchain was well in business and marke its all time high price $1368 per coin and its market was cap was above 132 bln usd. This time was early 2018 and all market was at its peak. People were expecting about Ethereum will soon overtake Bitcoin and this all was due to Ethereum Blockchain adoption for new ICOs launching with the help of smart contract of Ethereum Blockchain.

But this all was slowdown gradully due to fake ICOs. With all this happening entire market was in downtrend which is still continue. Where this was badly effect whole crypto market but Ethereum was also in correction and this was lead its value to the agin under $200.

Now here is the other story of Binance. In the same time Binance was in serious busniess and its addoption was over the Moon. So, Binance was in race of becoming World No.1 Exchacge by beating Bittrex and it done the job, the other side its Binance coin was making business day by day.

Binance management very smartly engaging its native coine into miltiple purpose and make it one of the best cryptocurrency in Bolckchain Industry.

We all well aware how last year Binace utlise its Exchange and develop their Binace coin market. Here i want to mention some core businesses operating by Binance Team.

  • Binance Exchange
  • Binance DEX
  • Binance Chain
  • Binance Fiat services
  • Binance Launchpad
  • Having giant partners

Binance acquire Trust Wallet, WazirX Indian Market.

Binance coin will make history buy using like these above mentioned features and many more.

I think someday BNB will beat ETH, What you Think Smiley

I think the whole thing boils down to adoption and benefit,if the number of people using these different cryptocurrency increases it will increase their adoption rates, both Ethereum and BNB have their own benefits. Ethereum has been in the market for a reason and likewise BNB

Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment?
by
cryptogeek101
on 19/06/2020, 08:20:46 UTC
Very often we see people sugget to use ETH or any alternative coin for cheap and faster tx. I am going to share some information which will proof that it is no better. I may be wrong too, I am not an expert here. Just sharing what I have got.

BTC Avg. Block time- 10 minutes
ETH Avg. Block time- ~14 seconds (now)

So, ETH will get around 43 blocks = 1 BTC block

BTC block size- 1 MB (Let's say we use Legacy only)
ETH Block size- 20 to 30 kb (Let's say 25kb on average)

How much byte can both proceed within 10 minutes?
Both BTC and ETH will be able to proceed 1 MB tx data on average.

Is not both same in term of handling tx? Sometimes BTC is even better with segwit.
Just sharing some random thoughts, I am not expert technically. So, I may be wrong in many ways.

I think every crypto coin was build to solve a particular payment issue, so they are all unique on their own,in terms of payment, the blockchains are quite different, different terms of transaction fees etc. So you go for the one that will solve your problem for that period

Re: Do not be fooled

Coronavirus is the reason why market is in very bad shape, it will be very stupid to exit because of this while others are making good choice presently, many are already saying it's the end for crypto but the fact is Bitcoin died several times in the past and it's still alive today, do not be fooled by those who don't understand the technology

Yes, I think you are very much correct to say that because it's the truth. Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology has really come to stay,no matter the situation it will survive the test of time. We will continue to promote crypto to the society because it's beneficial to society
