Re: Which coin now you think had a good future
by

Future no one knows, however, we can judge the potential of a crypto though the problem it is solving, the community and people who are developing. We also need to see the roadmap and how the developers are planning to achieve the goals and marketing of the coins.

BTC is the first choice and has first movers advantage, then there are ETH, TRX, DGB, NXS, EOS, XDN, NEO - there are many others ... however, these have good technology and community building. It will be very interesting to see the bottom and ATH of these in the near future.

Please have patience  Smiley

Hardware wallets like Trezor and Ledger Nano are most secure and easy to use. You own your private key. They connect to Mew also, so you can store ERC20 tokens also.

Binance has more volume for trading. You will find good push in the coins when the TA and fundamental are good.

Re: Is Technical analysis bullshit?
by
cryptojacklife
on 04/06/2018, 02:45:35 UTC
Technical Analysis helps to judge the sentiments and movements of the market. It is an indicator of the next steps, it helps us to make cautious/informed judgments. The same happens in crypto too.

However, the Crypto market is still not matured enough and is very small compared to traditional markets like stocks and forex. Movements here can be manipulated, FUD can be created easily, etc. So Fundamentals play an important role. Movements of BTC also needs to be taken care when we trading.

Hope this helps!

I believe we should all learn a bit of Technical Analysis and try reading charts a bit. It is a useful indicator and provides ammunition to judge whether to buy or sell bitcoins.

Technologies will evolve. Advanced versions are and will be launched.  Ethereum provides a lot of control and helps to build contracts. However, it is still not bulletproof. The community is working on Ethereum technology advancement to POS. I believe it is good for long term. However, holding for long-term totally depends on your risk appetite and things are ever changing.

Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits?
by

Risk is always there in anything. For investment in Bitcoin it is high risk, high returns.

It will take it own time to grow obviously with more and more acceptance and usage. The number of bitcoins are limited and it is the first crypto, so high probability to reach unimaginable high value.

It is a very good idea. Bitcoin has a store value also. It can be sold at higher prices as and when needed, thereby giving high monetary benefits. Anonymity is good, however the intention here is to use for good purpose. People can pay faster and will low transaction fee.

In turn this is good for Bitcoin also, as usage increases as well as acceptance.

Suspense makes Satoshi and Bitcoins more interesting. Let Satoshi Nakamoto relax and enjoy, as he has already given us the wonder of the world called "BITCOIN"

I don't think Nakamoto coming out will make things easier for Bitcoin. People like suspense, let it grow till eternity Smiley

Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies?
by
cryptojacklife
on 17/05/2018, 13:30:18 UTC
1. Every one can see the ledger and transactions. Open.

2. No duplication or cannot be forged

3. Transactions are approved/conformed by group of miners rather than just one authority

4. Virtual currency, no physical shape unlike paper currency

5. It is a currency of the people/world and no governments own it

6. Faster transactions, you pay less fee unlike International transactions through banks

I wonder how he sleeps in peace these days. It's really sad to see that the money you worked for, has become so virtual that you cannot gain access to it. Try to find out the file - somewhere, some folder, some file, some of your lot laptop ... it has to be somewhere. I would suggest to keep trying and not give up.

Re: Bing says it will ban Crypto-Related Ads By July 2018
by
cryptojacklife
on 16/05/2018, 15:41:44 UTC
1. Bing as a brand needs to maintain standards. It cannot keep on showing crypto ads as there are a lot of scams online and they cannot risk their brand image.

2.  Secondly, a lot of these ads capture user/consumer data online. With the new rules of GDPR in EU, it will be very strict on how and what the data captured will be used for. All users have the rights not to be tracked, or their personal information should not be used in any other illegal way. Unless these are clarified, it is probably best to take a precautionary stance.

It has been 2 years that I bought my First bitcoin. I have never been able to sell or trade it. Is it only me who is emotionally binded or does this happened with anyone else?

Also, is it a good thing to be emotionally attached so much to Bitcoins?

Re: [Article] 10 Reasons Why Cryptocurrency Isn't Mainstream Yet
by
cryptojacklife
on 15/05/2018, 13:59:28 UTC
1. The emotional quotient has still not developed for Bitcoin. There have to be as many retail usage case studies where Bitcoin helped people all around the world. Gold and Diamond has been marketed on emotional parameters and store of value

2. There is still a large population which beliefs in the physical presence of material for investment. Our mind has been tuned like this for years. So this can be changed over a period of time through marketing positive influence in the minds, not just talking about the monetary value. That's why people are not able to connect still

3. Governments are indecisive and not sure what to do with this moving forward. Basically, they have not done their homework for the last 9-10 years.

4. Banks are the most threatened, rather than finding a progressive way to exist, they want to kick this out without even knowing how it can help them. They are scared and creating FUD around.

5. The retail and corporate usage needs to increase. A lot of investors are watching closely on the stance governments are going to take. Once a sweet spot arrives, they will jump in. They are still not ready to take the risk.

6. A lot of us are not sure whether to support the technology (which is the main thing) or to just take them as the coins (which are traded). People are not bothered about the technology still (probably).

7. The whole crypto technology is evolving, needs to see more use cases

Re: What will happen with Bitcoin if it never scales?
by
cryptojacklife
on 15/05/2018, 11:47:21 UTC
If bitcoin never scales:

1. The usage will definitely go down and other cryptocurrencies will take its position. So scaling is important for Bitcoins to move to a higher level in terms of technology.

2. With new crypto technologies/currencies launching every now and then, the bitcoin dominance (market share) will be expected to go down

3. However, Bitcoin is the father of all the currencies, It is known as digital gold. It can still be taken as a 'store of value'. We can still buy them and hoard them as digital gold as they do for physical gold or diamond.

4. It can be held as a precious thing, which can be passed through generations (hope this happens Smiley

5. Bitcoin has a first mover advantage, and all the other cryptos take learnings from it. So existence is supposed to be intact and should survive for years to come, even if the scaling does not happen.

Re: Reasons why Bitcoin is droping:
by
cryptojacklife
on 14/05/2018, 10:00:58 UTC
The crypto market is still not matured and is going through a phase of understanding, experimentations, adoption. There is still a large part of the world which does not know about Bitcoins.

The crypto market was earlier more accessed by crypto lovers. However, over a period of time, large groups who play in the stocks and forex market are moving into the crypto market. The manipulations can be done (just my understanding) with the crypto market is just hovering around $400bn, which is a minuscule figure comparing to other financial channels of investments (like stocks, forex, mutual funds...).

There are some or other the fake news creating FUD, over hype of the situations which always keeps bitcoin prices fluctuating. Governments/Banks/Large Groups are making their moves to either ban, regulate or have a share of profits. People/Investors are definitely moved by the news.

Bitcoin has a huge number of followers/supporters across the world. However, trading is a different aspect vs technology and is a different ball game, which causes fluctuations.
