Re: Do you think this year will be Red?

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

With all these news about different governments trying to shut down crypto market, the red is expected color.

Wink I would not introduce an absolutely anonymous crypto currency, since it can be used for bad purposes. There must be a way how to control this. Take the same dash, I think that it is a lot of dark passes, which no one knows. Huh

Dear friend, a big cut of crypto is already being used for "bad purposes". Another level of anonymity will not add more players in this game, they all are already there.

You should look into DeepOnion, providing true anonymity through Tor with many other innovative features that puts it light years ahead of the rest of the privacy altcoin market, with a huge potential to be the leading cryptocurrency. 20% is reserved for dev fund and promotions, 80% is obtainable by the public via airdrop, PoW or PoS. Check the link in my signature to join the airdrop.

Never heard about AirDrop. What's this?

Why would the governments in these places be more interested in stealing bitcoin mining hardware than they are on taxing the earnings?

They are stealing it for themselves, for their own personal needs and use. And taxes go to the country's budget.

It would seem to make more sense to seize these items at the border with customs or some enforcement agency.

You can't do that because the border is too big, there are hundreds of smugglers.

Don't try to understand it, it's a completely different world.

I read a news few month ago where 16 antminer s9 were seized in Nepal. The man was arrested. He was mining for 6 months. I wonder what happened to those machines...

I tell you what. Now these machines are mining for their Sheriff.

There is a new sheriff in town 🔫💰🎖

This sounds like nonsense to me, unless there is some really strange legislation that I'm unaware of. Monitoring power consumption is done by almost every government with the capability to do so, but normally it is only investigated if they believe you are involved in drugs or weaponizing something that shouldn't be.

This is done not because they want to limit the power consumption so all people obey the law, no. This is because they are corrupted people and want to steal bussiness. The point is in this: just imagine Somali and pirates. And in my post I was talking about eastern Europe, not Europe. These are two different worlds. Eastern Europe is poor and very corrupted.

I read about it in this article: http://forklog.net/ukraines-law-enforcement-launch-raids-on-local-miners/

So, is it safe in your country to mine crypto?

Hello guys,

Is it safe to mine cryptocurrency in your country?

For example, in some eastern Europe countries, this is literally dangerous. In these countries, special forces (something similar to CIA in the US) monitor power consumption using special tools. Then they determine the location of such mining farm and in the end, they steal all gear using government pressure and threats that they will initiate a fabricated criminal case against owners of such farms.

Re: How do you explain the bounty campaign?
by
cryptolottocc
on 11/03/2018, 20:37:08 UTC
When I earned my first money with the bounty, people around me (especially my family) asked me where did my money came from. When I told them that it came from bounty campaigns, I saw their puzzled face. So I explain it to them with this analogy: "When politicians are running for office, they always show their faces in public in order for them to remember. They give flyers with their name and platforms in it. ICOs are like politicians and their elections is called bounty campaign. We make the ICO popular by posting in forums, social media sites, and creating videos and article." And they quickly understood it so every time someone ask me about bounty campaign, I always used this analogy. How about you?

A bounty is a possibility to get tokens for free without an investment. You are being offered to perform some actions to promote the product and then you get a reward. For example: to join the TG channel, to repost something on Twitter.

Bounty hunters are people who are constantly searching for such campaigns. They have a hope to become millionaires in the next 3-4 years by doing this Cheesy

Re: Big budget versus Great idea. Who eventually wins?

Of course good advertising will result into a good hype of the project, good hype attracts more investors and it will make the project's success too easy.Projects with less advertisements will surely wont have any good chance to get good investors for their project, bounty hunters really has big part of the ICO's success that is why these ICOs are allocating big for the hunters.

So does this mean that a project with a great idea and a team of great developers behind, but without a proper funding, won't eventually succeed?

Its like an election, bigger budgets are commonly winning the game and those who doesnt have good budget but having good advocay normally lose, that is how the market works the more influencial the more chances of winning the heart of each investors to join and to invest to a cetrain project or ICO.

I didn't want to bring the politics here, but if you mentioned the elections then you should know that in the recent US elections had won the candidate with much less numbers spent. The difference was almost half of billion dollars. So the only amount of money is not making the weather. How you spent it - that's also a key factor.

Most successful icos now are without bounty. And it has increased this year. Project team.matters in successful ICO, the way the idea is pitched may also influence it. Very few good teams failed at ICO but idea still matters.

I believe these projects are not using bounties because they simply do not need it. A well funded ICO nowadays can spend near $4000 each day just on Google Ads. They spend 1 mil on Ads and get 20-30 mils on sales. That's how it works.

Because bounty hunters will be one of the major factor of the ICO's success that is why the bigger the budget the more bounty hunters will come.So that is why bounty allocation would be one major factor to decide these ICO's faith when it comes to advertisement to get more investors.

I thought 'bounty hunter' means a person who is doing some actions to promote the project in order to get some free coins, am I right? Like you join my TG channel and get some coins for that. In 2014 each bounty hunter got 1000 ETH for promoting Ethereum. I read this somewhere.

So, I don't see the connection between budget and bounty hunters. Bounty is a cheap (=free) way to promote your project.

Big budget versus Great idea. Who eventually wins?

Hello people,

So my question is: why a project with a mediocre idea but with a bigger budget is likely to have more successful future than the project with a great idea but with a low budget?

How do you see this?

I am surprised that do one had created such service yet (at least I havent seen any popular one). I would definetely use such service but it would be cool if you put some decent efforts into SEO optimization and other promotion things. It is very important to see such ingormation on the first google pages while checking an ICO.

  • And then they will start to blackmail ICOs in order to give them a good/bad review.
  • And then they will start taking 1-5 btc for one AD post.
  • And then project which has a better idea is less popular than a project which has a bigger budget.

We know how that works.

Next, please...

To what i have seen in the facebook ads, some of the ICOs (legit ones) are still able to use the facebook paid advertising program which i suspectedly they will only restrict ICOs from joining if facebook thinkgs those projects arent legit.Facebook terms and conditions states that they wont be accepting any ICOs to use their paid advertisements but some has been using it for quite a whilte..

There are no Legit and Not Legit ICOs. These both types are not regulated by the law. Moreover, each country has it's own legislation. I also still can find ICO ad on my FB and IG feed, and this bothering me, taking to account that thay didn't allow me to promote my project and refused 3 times without getting into details.

I presume those ICO ads are old and were lanched before this new regulation.
