Re: How much these features weigh most when you choose your favorite casino?

~snip~
Flawless withdrawal processes are truly a gift to have when you join a gambling platform as a new member. Most of the casinos that are old wouldn't really make it a tiring process and even if there is a KYC requirement, it will be pretty smooth if you go through it with the guidance provided and give them what they asked you for without any hesitation.

But, when it comes to new casinos, it sometimes becomes a headache and you get tired of all the retries only to verify yourself if they ask for KYC before a withdrawal, you are probably in luck if their support team is friendly and quick to respond.

I think that's probably the hardest hurdle for a legit new casino. And also probably one of the tools new shady casinos use to keep your money in their platform.
If it's smooth, then people will keep coming back, even if it's new.

Well usually it's always smooth until it isn't. They need to keep appearance of smoothly running casino if they want to rug enough money. If problems start at the beginning they get only pennies for it compared to pro hustle

I tried chatGPT4 for this and, for some unknown reason went to super slow mode and started to list web3 games. I guess those can be gambling too:

Quote
Here are some popular on-chain gambling games:

CryptoKitties: A game where players can buy, sell, and breed digital cats using Ethereum blockchain.

Decentraland: A virtual reality platform where players can buy virtual land, build virtual objects and host games on their land.

Gods Unchained: A blockchain-based trading card game where players can collect, trade, and play with unique digital cards.

0xUniverse: A blockchain-based strategy game where players can explore the galaxy, discover new planets, and trade resources with other players.

Augur: A decentralized prediction market platform where users can bet on the outcome of real-world events.

Fomo3D: A blockchain-based game of chance where players can buy keys and compete for a jackpot by being the last person to buy a key.

Cryptosports: A blockchain-based sports betting platform where users can bet on various sports events and earn rewards for accurate predictions.

EarnBet: A blockchain-based casino where players can play various casino games and earn BET tokens for participating.

FunFair: A blockchain-based platform for creating and hosting fair and transparent casino games.

TrueFlip: A blockchain-based lottery platform where players can purchase tickets and win prizes in various cryptocurrencies.

Note: Please be aware that gambling can be addictive and may cause harm to some individuals. Always gamble responsibly and within your limits.

I wouldn't really believe such things, it can be considered a serious violation of the law and it's hard for me to believe that an "insider" allowed such things to become public. paying $100k to get your money's worth is a little crazy, isn't it?

Well some people have been kyc:ing these whales out. That's not the matter of belief. It's weird how public they are about it. But there's no way for us knowing if they are insiders of FTX or not, who knows. But ton of lawsuits are coming at these people. Somehow they tought they would be untouchable and now they have to run for their lifes.

Re: FTX bankruptcy has any effect on gambling ?
by
cryptoperkele
on 11/11/2022, 17:05:47 UTC
The developing story is that Sam Bankman-Fried steps down as FTX CEO as his crypto exchange files for bankruptcy. FTX is one of the popular exchanges and i think gamblers might be using this exchange to transfer funds to gambling sites as that exchange had no tx fee. Do any of you uses FTX exchange to transfer funds to and from the gambling site?

Let's suppose you have funds on FTX, now that you are unable to withdraw, will you halt gambling for the time being and how will you survive this time?
People have been using online poker sites as shadow banks, even Simpsons have covered online pokersite banking. In a same way they use CEXes for storing their crypto they will go around traditional banking systems as they trus them more. So i am assuming they keep looking for more trusted sites. "No fees" is definitelu a plus for storing your money next to stability and trust.

If someone is planning to use this way to avoid taxes am afraid that most of this will soon be thing of the past as AML laws get tougher every year.

Hunter's are looking for bounty campaign for  getting rewarded a littile. In todays market a lot of project get scammed for this not only investors but also hunters get scamming. We should prevent this by not promoiting Scam project.

Recently I just saw that Bounty Detective lauched a bounty programme Saratoga
This project is managed by Ferox Advisor

First of all, i am not bothered to go in to FRX token. (That's a scam as well for mainly same reasons as Saratonga).

I looked at Saratoga and from the fist look i thought everything looked just unprofessional, but there are some real red flags.

Here are some facts from Saratoga:

They claim they are paying profits from real NFT backed lands, that require "no tax or local evil bureaucracy". This is just absurd. This is not some decentralized bitcoin libertarian dream, they are claiming to build something that's highly centralized with an actual land and agriculture.
I asked if they had KYC and where they are aquiring the land and no, there's no kyc (at the moment), and primarily Turkish.
Since turkey is part of EU KYC is required for something like this because AML laws, not to mention that these would be contracts, and those contracts can't be in in form of permissionless tokens as they would need to be reversable.

So either they are incompetent and don't know anything about legal framework for any of this, or trust that their investors are ignorant, because greedy idiots is a pretty good target group for scamming.

This will most likely going to be a slow rug as they can pretend for a long time that their land wouldn't give profits yet, blame war, blame bureaucracy, weather, pandemic or anything like that and slowly fade away until no one is interested.

Re: Trident Protocol

Trident Protocol is a new project that I become a bounty hunter, in my opinion a new project is the best opportunity to get big profits, I also bought Trident because I am sure in the short term it will rise at least 300%, if you want invest Problems then you don't think of blaming others.
triden has an api of 382%, which is very logical if we wait to reach that increase if we can buy it now. no one knows whether it will succeed in the future to become a token according to our expectations, but hopefully with the end of the bear market it will bring it to follow market trends and be profitable for us. this time I joined the triden campaign, considering that it used to be held by a trusted BM

No, it has apy of 382,945% according to their homepage, and (that's a comma not a dot).

Also it's strongly looking like they will be either scamming bounty hunters or bounty hunters will kill the project. (They promised to deliver $50k worth of tokens and their LP is somewhere in $13k.

Last twitter activity was from 14 days ago, mods in the telegram are clueless and there has been no sight of any admin.

Re: Tokens/coins with insanely high inflation will not be not profitable ever
by
cryptoperkele
on 20/09/2022, 12:18:44 UTC
This is not only the basis, you should consider a lot of things not only how their token economics works.
This token economics is just a part of identifying how good altcoin but this is still important though, you should identify it first.
There are some projects that their supply is quite low or decreasing or limited, but on some part of their project is not good like no use cases or product, it's still useless.

Sure, but that wouldn't happen because of inflation so it's not related to this. It would happen because it token itself doesn't have good fundamentals. With high enough inflation on the other had (which i was talking about) the token price is guaranteed to drop.

Hello,
Is web3 scam? How about https://web3isgoinggreat.com/?
Is web3 vs Blockchain?
Thank you.

I don't think you understand what the word scam means. Sure, there are various different projects in nft that fail either because of incompetence, or because they are scams. But that doesn't make erc721 or ERC-1155 scams. They are just protocols that can be used as any other good tool, for making scams or making a difference.

It's like asking that is web2 a scam. Sure, there has been many scams in web2.0 but it's a tool just like web3.0

Tokens/coins with insanely high inflation will not be not profitable ever
by

Aside from them having no use cases...

* Price of one token will automatically decrease when there's a flood of free tokens getting into markets and scarcity of the token decreases.

* Even if you look at it from the point where your bag wouldn't necessarily lose value as in whole, as it too is increasing with the circulating supply there's one thing you forget, and that's traders. Traders use altcoin or fiat money pairs to do technical analysis, and it obviously will look bad when the trader sets the targets. That would mean that charters would need to use marketcap graph to find a bullish TA and probably no one would even bother to do that as very few do it now.

* Rebasing as a solution is worst possible as it eats away the whole idea of having high interest from staking in the first place.

So why the hell do they keep coming back on the markets?

I hope there's a way to estimate from empirical data how much of the time he's actually right, using a boolean algebra model or something.

Because I'm starting to see a phenomenon, the oppisite action of the decision you make is usually the correct one.

Shouldn't profits against trading him be good enough indicator on that? But yeah i agree, empirical data would be nice. In fact some sort of model that's tracking all the influencers and their trackrecods out there would be very cool.

Ok, few things:

In the homepage math doesn't make any sense to me. You are saying that Fixed staking APY is 382,945%.

Where that number is coming from? With 382,945% annual percent interest, $1000 is $3829450 and that's not even having counting in the compound interest you have, and with that we would probably have such a big number i would have to google the amount of zeroes to have a name for it.

Also please don't use USD in big bold letters in this when you don't clearly mean $ but the token, is very misleading and most likely highly illegal.

lumin is a scam project, so don't ever promote this token, the pinksale has also been canceled,
I don't know why I don't understand, but from its achievements only a few have bought Lumin,
of course we will know that this meme coin is really very useless , so stay away

They didn't raise any money, that's why. So they decided to shut everything down. Bounty group stopped working before that because they were not getting paid. It would been mainly a meme token anyway so no big loss there.

Their latest telegram update was from last year where they said that they canceled their ico.

You linked to bounty thread so are you looking for your bounty or did you buy from their ico? Either way it looks like you are not getting anything. I am sorry for your loss.

Since monero is mainly build to escape regulations, it most likely will be removed sooner or later from cex:es, or users need to provide data on where they got their moneros. I am not really sure if that's even possible. If projects like Dusk get finished ever, people will probably follow them as they are private but regulation friendly.
