Ethereum is very secured in my opinion and you can't lose your coins if you are pretty safe with your private key , recommend it to store in a usb driver

Yep this is true , I sent documents to kraken exchange I needed to wait 3 weeks man to get approved . Also you must send not just ID , you have to send driver license , ID , documents from your house and lot of stuff
