If the team's cryptocurrency is listed on a small trading volume exchange like cryptopia or similar ones, sure they can control their prices. The team wouldn't need that many bitcoins to manipulate prices.

Mine something that has very low difficulty and pray that the coin moons. Unless you have a mining farm, this method is the best way to make decent money from mining. You won't be able to compete with others if your rig puts out low hashrate while mining high cap cryptos.

Re: How to earn altcoin every days?

To earn altcoins everyday you would have to invest or trade daily. It's not guaranteed though, you can always ended up losing. Bounties and airdrops takes time to complete and it could take days or weeks to receive airdrops and months to get bounties.

This year, I like projects like Waves which are constantly developing the platform to becoming an all in one for cryptocurrency needs. This year will display huge improvements to the Waves platform. The Waves team are doing a great job marketing and developing.

It was never meant to be easy but during a market bull run, everyone is a cryptocurrency trading expert. You can pretty much close your eyes and pick winners. It's not so easy when the market is flat or bearish.

It is difficult to determine if the signature bounty is good or not until after it is completed. You can improve your chances of participating in a good bounty by joining one that has a good campaign manager.

To maximize your profits on investment, it would be better to HODL and wait until the prices are more rewarding. Selling immediately would bring lower profits as you'll be competing with the bounty hunters.

Re: how to protect your wallet myetherwallet.com ???

Bookmark myetherwallet and download cryptonite would help your chances of using a phishing site. Using a hardware wallet in combination with MEW would be a wise method but if you don't have a hardware wallet then using the json file would be a better option than private key.
I see that people support that altcoin suits better for day trading, and not for holding. I just don't get why.
I am not sure how you came up with this conclusion but it is incorrect. Hodling a good project has been more profitable for many people over day trading. Day trading isn't for everyone and can cause missing out on huge profits when you're unable to get back into position.
Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
Nice move. You are in higher profits for buying the Ethereums over Bitcoin as of now. Things can certainly change in the future but if you're still holding the Ethereums, you should be happy with your profits. Good job!

There are a lot of free materials on youtube, you'll just need to search for them. There are also full courses which cost a few hundred dollars you can take. Google to find them. Lastly, Udemy also offer courses for as low as $10 each.

Re: Is Your Money Safer In Crypto than at the Bank?

Your money is definitely safer in the bank than in cryptocurrency wallets. Banks are insured and you're protected from fraudulent transactions. However, if you ask, which will give you potential higher gains, the answer will be cryptocurrencies.

Re: WAVES - Complete Blockchain ecosystem for a token economy
Only question is whether waves overtakes btc as well as eth in 2018
Common now, let's be serious. Waves is a great project and it's one thing to dethrone Ethereum from the second spot but to dethrone the king, bitcoin is an almost impossible task to do. When people talk or think about cryptocurrencies, the first thing that comes to their mind is "BITCOIN".

If you have a decent amount of money to start investing in cryptocurrencies with, why not invest in all three? Whatever you choose to invest in, be sure you always have some bitcoins in your portfolio. That should be a must for every crypto investor.

Re: Why is ICO period long?
by
cryptosifu
on 04/05/2018, 01:03:32 UTC
Some projects have a long ICO selling period because they want the raise the most amount of funds for their project. Usually if it hit's the hardcap, the ICO is over but they do have the full amount of time they have listed to raise the funds.
Not all altcoin markets offer USDT so trading with BTC is always more convenient. I always trade altcoins with BTC or Ethereums and if you want to play it safe then sell your BTC/ETH for fiat or USDT.

Buy in increments so you don't have to worry about if the market is bullish or bearish. If you're investing in a good project, it will eventually give you profits for your investment. Invest with money you do not need immediately.

Investing in ICO's can be well worth it but is also much riskier than investing in a project that has been around for a while and has a good reputation in the industry. Many people have made fortunes from ICO's.

Panicking will lead to mistakes and regrets in trading but not everyone has thick skin so it's easier said than done. Best thing to do if you are the type that panics a lot is to stop checking the prices.
