This only happens with 'Threading Tech' applied ...

Opteron (as with any CPU that uses HyperThreading Type of technology) is classically using only the cores allotted, but with HyperThreading Tech enables, it uses the SAME cores but different time slices. Which means you have 64 Physical Cores and another 64 'SoftWare' Cores - making 128 Cores in total. That is IF this is happening here with this machine.

So even though it is showing only 50% usage of all 'SoftWare' Cores, the physical cores are actually being used to close to full capacity. You may get some increase in hashing, but I would assume very little if you set your miner thread count at 128.

You can test it and see, it can't really hurt the Physical CPU's themselves, but the whole OS may slow down considerably so be prepared to wait for things to happen when you click

These Opteron CPU's were incredible in their day. Now the Epyc CPU's show what REAL CPU Power is all about!

Thefarm is dead ... rebuild will start as soon as son as we have relocated the infrastructure ...

I 'should' be back in a week ... Will look at everything then ... till then we are still working on the new algo for granite and they testing is continuing for the new algo for ozziecoin ...

Getting vey frustrated with all that's happened and all that is continuing to happen ... but we will get through it all and cwi will become stronger than ever ...

the concept AND projects are STILL on the potential scale ...

i honestly believe that these projects ( event the cryptocloset online sales portal ) are great ideas ...

mt777 has gone in head first into these projects and has done a reasonably good job in all aspects ... the premine dump - the decisions on direction - the consequences of all these decisions ... they are all here to be seen ...

i am confident that if these projects were to continue - something could be made of it ... but the amount to purchase is set - and we cannot afford to bring adopt it all without having our own projects suffer in the process ...

like any business - it wont matter how much money time and effort that was put in - if the projects start to lose its community and lose its support ... no matter how much was put into it - it will eventually fall to a close-to zero value if nothing is done to takeover the projects ...

it saddens me to see all these long term holders and supporters dump their coins - because the projects themselves have merit ...

soopy is just not reliable enough to work on these projects ...

but in saying that - soopy has always been a good person - especially with my dealings with him - so i cannot just claim a full 'takeover' of the project without soopy saying something for or against ...

there will be ample time for soopy to respond - and ample time to make the necessary adjustments required to take full ownership ... next week - i will have have the keys / passwords to the thread and git and the necessary components to adopt droidz - if that is what the consensus will be ... if the community wishes for soopy to take the project in its entirety - there will be no harm done there either - and i / cwi will abandon any interest in the project itself ... there will also be no hard feelings toward anyone involved ... we have a few projects we need to work with currently anyway ...

soopy needs to get in touch with me on skype - and we will nut it out from there ... if nothing is said or done on his end - then ill accept that as a withdrawal of interest from him - and will concede to the decision and direction that the community wishes to take with this ...

if the project does become a cwi project - it will under the jurisdiction of cwi and will be under the scrutiny and direction that cwi is taking currently ...

hi all ...

im posting currently from the account ive known ( this one - 'crysx' ) for about a year since i 'lost' ( actually locked myself out of ) the original 'chrysophylax' profile on bitcointalk ...

im so very happy to announce that due to the diligence and fair heartedness of the mod here at bct - cyrus - an unbanning of the chrysophylax account was issued and i finally had access to the 'change password' facility finally ... because of this ( and because i actually do own the email addresses that these accounts belong to ) i was able to change the password and reactivate full accessibility of the 'chrysophylax' profile once again ...

im jumping for joy ...

no really - jumping! ...

after over a year of messaging - and requesting help - and receiving almost no help from anyone except mprep ( but he does not have the elevated level of authority to unban or unblock unfortunately ) - cyrus within a matter of a little over a week - read my messages ( two were sent ) and just unbanned the profile ... i did the rest ...

this has made me a very happy man - more than even i care to admit ...

this also means that a few things are put into a complex situation ...

1 - i now have two accounts here on bct ... the current - crysx ... and the original - chrysophylax ...
2 - a few threads belong to chrysophylax - and now a few threads belong to crysx ...
3 - this 'official' chainworks industries thread is the main thread we will be running everything from - but is locked to crysx and i need it connected to chrysophylax ... especially if all the original threads ( started a while back now ) belong to the chrysophylax profile ...

so the possibilities are a few on how to handle this - but i am thinking that there really is one solution ...

1 - continue where i left off with the original chrysophylax profile ...
2 - keep the crysx profile dormant until it is necessary to make admin changes ( ie - op changes / deletion of posts ) ...
3 - amalgamate ( which was the plan anyway - but is now much easier ) the other threads we have for granite - ozziecoin - dbm into this cwi thread ( hence the three reserved areas under the op ) and continue working with this thread under chrysophylax ...

any advice that anyone has with regards to this or how to be able to pass authority for threads from profile to profile - would be very much appreciated ...

so from now on - ill be coming back as chrysophylax and will continue on with that profile ... checking in on the crysx profile from time to time ...

now off to sleep for me - and back to work in a day ...
