hey hey hey

time to dual mine again with siacoin.

Siacoin has just forked. I suppose the miners arn't compatible with the new fork?

thats what i meant. unfortunately, it seems that the dev has abandoned this miner. busy counting money?

I cant find any sia gpu miner either. Guess sia turning into a private chain coin.

The Sia network hardforked to reject all ASICs on the network except for Obelisk miners on October 31st at a block height of 179,000. I tried to mine it after fork using CCminer on GTX 1070 and had no sucess. Anyone mining SIA on GPU?
I think you can mine SIAcoin with Claymore Miner you check their thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.0

Download the latest Claymore miner and then remove the ethereum pool from the bat script and put your siacoin pool you can also find the guide from the the link above.

as the time writing all mining goes to siacoin classic if not using Obelisk. need to wait for a new miner.

For everyone thats complaining.

Take the calculator and calculate hashrate of btcz, price of btc and you will understand why the price is falling.

In todays world bots are in charge of trade prices, they calculate things. If the price is in spent electricity range they buy if the price is above they sell. Simple.

For those having problems why was ccex chosen - it was anthony@slack decision. It was 1 btc cheaper then cryptopia. It was his money and if you want btcz on another paid exchange to get listed do it like him. Out of your own pocket. And we do not have to repay him. I was the one who started with an idea that we should point our hashrate to donation address but only few responded. Again out of my free will and nobody forced me. That is what this coin is about.

I'd choosen Cryptopia if I pay to list for marketing but it was (anthony@slack)'s decision, right... But this is not the end, only begining...
This coin has "decentralization" options. I trust all the way...

I begun with create a pool (just 1 month old Smiley) With low fee and already donates to op's wallet.
We are finding 4-5 blocks per day and payments are 600-800 btcz per 1k/sol. Not bad Smiley Other big pools pay several times in a day but total is not big than my pool. I don't know why, even so people prefer them Smiley That is their decision too.

First of all you can make support by joining our pool.

Are you saying we get 600-800 BtcZ per day for 1k/sol?

We find 3 or 4 blocks in a day = 37500btcz or 50000btcz with 50ksol (pool's total hashes)

This means 750-1000 btcz per 1ksol

Ok i will give it a try with my 6,5k/souls Smiley

Good i did not put all my miners here. I try'd with my 1 gtx1070 and for whole day of hashing with 420 sol/s i got only 120 BtcZ.
Similar happened on https://equihashing.com/. For 170k shares (3 days) i got only around 2200 BtcZ...

Smt is wrong with this pools or with BtcZ as it is...

If some1 can explain i will be thankful.

Just because of we found less block that day... Miners shares are just ratio. How can pool make payment If the pool doesn't find block?
Today is lucky day and we are growing fastly.

I suggest to be more informative, e.g. listing out all the blocks found (or at least for 1 month or 100 blocks)
That way can convince more btcz miners to step out of suprnova cave), i originally mine with suprnova because I can track and trace all the info i wish to see easily. Most importantly hour/day/week/month/year summary.

actually took me some time to figure out where the mined blocks are listed in pcmining.

as for mining with pcmining pool, so far so good.

cheers.

Learn the truth the hard way why everyone went to large pools.

http://pcmining.xyz:8080/stats

4 blocks/day is lucky based on records.

FYI the pool requires more transparent and detailed statics to bring in trust.

Will take another try at this. Few days ago I posted that my 7 gtx 1060 machine will only find 3 of the cards with win7 ult64 os.  I decided to try this with ubu 16.04 as well with the same issue. This points to maybe a  MB setting as opposed to an OS setting. Can anyone shed a light on how to make all cards show up?  Both MB Asus  H270 and Z270

Will be adding a MSI Z170A as well when the cards and risers show

thaelin

For windows go win 10 64bit LTSB or go home. Simple

Hi guys....

I have (had Sad ) 42 MSI rx 470
12 Sapphire Nitro+ 470
12 Sapphire reference 470 cards.

Latelly ... all off them started falling like leaves. I mean they either die or burn up.

6 msi -  3 sapphire nitro and  2 sapphire reference cards died all during past 3 weeks....

Anyone else have that many breakdowns lately?

I dont even know what to blame now. Bios mods... motherboards.... PSU or claymor v9

Sapphire reference cards all worked for 5 months with only 2 of them die before this nightmare....
Sapphire Nitro+ never broke for 5 months before this....
I recently purchased 30 MSI cards and 6 already dead in like 3 weeks.... they tend to bring out smoke while sapphire cards just die.

My rigs are 6xGPU all (used to be.... LOL) motherboards are BTC PRO and Z97 fatality.
PSU are Be quiet pro 2x 1200 and and Platimaxe's 1600.

I used to use -96 core woltage in afterburner.

I started thinking that might be the reason. But i changed it to 0 and 2 more cards died. SO im pretty much lost.

Any ideas are welcome.

Or maybe someone else has unusual high rate of failing cards recently?

thats is creepy... can someone confirm these die rates? maybe you have a bad setup of power distribution or yours psu are failing

i had one of my msi rx480 sparkle and burn in front of me when booting up my system after a power outage.
realized the pcie riser had some burn on it, it was a version 003. when running hwmonitor the voltage were spiking to like 500000 ! at first though it was a glitch but then i thrwe them all away and got new risers, v007 this time and hwmonitor reports normal voltage value, no more spiking to 500000+ .

So i would suggest double checking your pcie risers, they may be the faulty part causing that problem

You really were right, 2 "rise 003 version" burned, I have 2 "rise 006 version" is perfect.

fyi,
http://www.playtool.com/pages/psuconnectors/connectors.html#peripheral

the 4 pin peripheral power cable only good for 5 amps that's 60w for 12v

and SATA power cable side only rated for 4.5 amps

i am not surprised it would melt over 75w constant load overtime. (and you should know RX480 will draw more that that on pci-e power draw.)

you need to get pci-e 6 pin powered raisers (do not use the provided sata to pci-e 6pin power cable with raisers if any!). and do not use extension to keep in specification with standard 18awg wires.

only safe way is to get PSU with adequate PCI-E 6pin power outlet.

I am using VER 006C 1703 btw

often monitor temperature with infrared thermometer gun on the connectors to make sure that no loose connection that cause electrical sparking that will cause heat up and melt your parts.
