Re: PhoenixMiner 5.9d: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)

So is anyone mining ETH on one pool and ZIL on another pool? What are the command line arguments to make this configuration work? I cannot find anything relevant in the documentation in regards to mining ETH+ZIL on different pools...

PhoenixMiner.exe -pool ssl://eu.ezil.me:24443 -proto 2 -wal EthWallet.zilWalet -worker etc -vmr 70 -gt 90 -acm -mclock 2100 -gpus 3 -amd -coin etc -mi 13 -eres 0 -clKernel 2 -stales 0  -cclock 1250 -cvddc 900 -mvddc 900 -fret 8 -ptimeout 5

Thank you but this configuration doesn't point ETH to, say... Ethermine, and Zil to another pool.

I'm looking for a configuration where I can point ETH to one pool - and Zil to ANOTHER pool...

I don't know any such configuration as of yet,you either do dual mining in the same pool,at least for ETH+ZIL as I have not seen different pools during the dual mining and it doesn't make sense.Another thing is that ZIL is usually only mined once in every 90 minutes and it is not worthy to mine it alone in another pool that is why the developers have chosen this way as they say to be more eco friendly,to mine it for very little time together with another algorithm.I use Ezil.eu pool for dual mining ETC+ZIL for my 4GB cards but yet I don't know if what you are asking is supported in any pool or miner.

in youtube uses hiveOS, but they use trm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JAqcWacUBZw&t=504s

I actually know how to do this with T-Rex and TRM, but I am looking specifically for instructions on making this work with PhoenixMiner.

I don't agree - it looks completely fake and dangerous (or suspicious at the least...)

It is full of amateurish statements and web design elements - you can tell for certain that it is a scam website. Even in the footer, all the "Community" links just lead to Ethereum social media accounts. There is no info about who is behind the site, no contact - nothing. As well, all the download links lead to some shady hosting website and the downloads are "protected" with a password.

There is nothing real, genuine and authentic about this fake, scam, most likely malware-ridden site. We must find a way to take it down IMMEDIATELY.

well, "I" never said it was safe, and now know better, others here had looked at it and thought it was.

And yeah, it does reek, so whatever can be done should be. Maybe contact the .org ppl and tell them?
This has already been discussed.
It always has correct checksums of files.
But it's better to download from the first post because this is a fan site with referrals and instructions, not a phoenix.
It is harmless, but it does give good starting instructions.
But I advise you to download only from the source.

Also, this site has been around for a while, i dont see anything wrong with it, security certificates look ok and are valid for a year which is a good sign, stop spreading fake news before doing ur research, they're using microsoft onedrive to upload the files. Show some proof of

It's honestly shocking (and highly alarming) that some of you are defending such random "fan" websites, while completely ignoring the premise of crypto where everything must be verified and validated. I bet that the Official PhoenixMiner developer will not be happy with the website in question, and has already made the following recommendation to all of us here:

Please, please, do not download anything PhoenixMIner-releated from posts that are not from our account! And always compare the checksums - it is quite easy to do and can spare you a lot of trouble. Additional good security practice is to always keep your private keys encrypted, and not on the same machine from which you are making the transactions.

Since we cannot verify the authenticity and integrity of the phoenixminer.org website - how can you guys possibly be defending it and making justifications for its existence? On Bitcoin-oriented message boards of all places?? *sigh*... Give your heads a shake. You are forgetting the whole reason why you are here in the first place...

Just a question to PhoenixMiner admin - have you noticed a new website recently pop up that uses your name? It is the first result on Google:

*FAKE WARNING FOR SEO OPTIMIZATION*

It looks very suspicious and shady. I thought I'd warn everyone that this is occurring. Never download any files from any website that is not posted by the Official PhoenixMiner account.

I found that site about a month ago, and used their program for a couple weeks before I found the real deal here!

At the very bottom of the page it says "Disclaimer: This isn't an official PhoenixMiners site. No binary files were affected. All rights belong to their respective owners."

While others here have said the exe looks ok, and they just added quick links to the pools, its always best to get it from the source, of course, of course!

They got more then just the 2.34 BTC, that was just from my Exodus wallet, it's 3.7142388 BTC total.   I'm feeling soo poorly and stressed I can't think straight at this point but if someone could help me get it back I'd be happy to split it with them.  Total was around $200k at time stolen...
These are the funds stolen from my Jaxx wallet:

Sadly... you are not getting anything back - the coins have been confirmed into the hacker's wallets. They simply have not moved them to any other wallet yet.

Can you at the least share the link of the scam website and the legitimate website so we can see some comparison and also follow the format of scam report. I want to ask you those things because fake websites are getting smarter now and the resemblance with the original is uncanny.

Yes, sorry about that. I have edited my post to include both the scam website and the official website links.

Second, I'd like to provide a suggestion: Is it possible to rename "Ethash4G" to "Etchash"? Technically it is called EtcHash. Source: github com / eth-classic / etchash (no spaces)

BitmainASIC.com is blatantly stealing BITMAIN's logo and favicons, and is offering a photoshopped version of the upcoming E9 miner for sale.

Official BITMAIN store does not have the E9 ASIC listed for sale yet, therefore the website is a scam that's imitating the official website.

Stay vigilant, my friends.

Hi,

I purchased PBE 3 PRO a while ago from your website and used it with great success on all my 470 / 570 / 580 GPUs. AMD released a new lineup of cards now - 5600 XT, 5700 XT, 6800 XT, 6900 XT, etc... and my question is:

Does PBE 3 PRO work on AMD's latest GPU series?

To answer my own question: No

I just tried loading 5600 XT ROM into PBE 3 PRO and the software crashed with an unhandled exception after it stated that "This firmware is not compatible".

What I'm trying to determine, is - how much time is being spent mining the dev fee. Seems like it's a lot; literally every other time that I checked throughout the past few days - I caught it mining on his pool.

Hello,

New user here. Just flashed a few test machines. Everything is working fine except the pool configuration. Awesome Miner is showing that the pool stays stuck at pools.fudd.net instead of my chosen pool.

I have stratum+tcp:// in my pool configuration and I'm using Antpool ZEC.

Advice?

Catch me on discord and/or PM me the support ID from the status page on one of your miners please and I will look into what you are seeing.

-j

Not everyone can conveniently install and/or use Discord. I'd appreciate some advice in here please.

The issue is this:

Basically any time I check on the miners via Awesome Miner - it's showing that they're mining on your pool, 80% of the time. I'm absolutely not impressed by this. Undecided

I will not trust a large farm of 100+ Z11 machines to a custom firmware that is leeching so much from me. Why is it mining your pool for most of the day??

Does anyone have a P102 bios with unlocked memory?

Even if someone does... it will not necessarily be compatible with your particular GPUs. The extra RAM may get unlocked, but you'll have various issues with cooling, clock speeds, power limitations, etc.

I'm here to report that - even though the cards flash successfully with a variety of ROMs found >HERE< - they do not function correctly afterwards. Some become too hot, some report vastly inaccurate hashrate readouts, others are stuck on 30W power limit, and others have the fan settings stuck on some value that cannot be adjusted.

Ultimately, they were all limited by power (down to 30W), and had issues with hashrate reporting.

My P104 GPUs are by INNO3D.
