There are many routes you can take with the bounties you earn.  You can hodl them until the project matures and the tokens increase in value.  You can sell them immediately after the coin is listed on an exchange and cash out or hold onto the bitcoins or swap them for a different altcoin.

It's very hard to find good ICO bounty campaign now a days because most of the ICO I've seen is something that is already existing in terms of platform and functionality and they just want to compete with the existing market.
