I hope you're wrong with your prediction to this very small value compared to the reached value already of the Bitcoin.  I'm hoping that it will go up about US$ 30,000 at least. Well, we are all free to state our predictions.  Wink

It means that the fluctuations are inevitable especially the volatility of the cryptocurrency.  This will just bounce back after the corrections made.

The crash would be good for the newbies or for those who want to start investing in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency because of the low prices.  As for me, I am in a stress right now because I just invested 80k last week on a higher prices for Bitcoin and other coins.  I just hope that it would bounce back to the price when I bought it or more.  Congratulations to those who will invest on this low prices.

Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money?

I don't know but as for now, I believe that it would take longer years before the digital currency will replace the fiat currency, it would take another generation maybe, but who knows.  Digital Currency for now is just part of the investments and people will still exchange them back to fiat currency in order to buy basic needs and wants.

I don't think this will be possible anytime soon, it's just that the scene would be so dangerous.  I won't do this to myself, to just put the digital money in my body, it's just not so in the moment of this time, i mean this generation yet.  Wink

Re: What Are Your Greatest Fears As a Bitcoin Holder?

My greatest fear as a bitcoin holder is the hacking because I cannot do anything about it and I am not that tech savvy to save the coins or take it back.  The second fear I have is the bitcoin bubble burst abruptly and not be able to get the Return Of Investment of it.  Well, these are risks of investing in this kind of business.

Re: Etherium to reach bitcoin

I think yes, there's a big possibility that the Ethereum will reach more than US$ 10,000.  I just don't know when is going to happen this that Ethereum will do the same as Bitcoin that rises in one month from US$ 7,000 to US$ 15,000.  Let's observe as to when this is gonna happen.  But Ethereum will run for so long also that might outlived us.  Wink

Re: I need an opinion on rejecting a job offer or crypto

I think you can do both.  You can accept the offer if the salary is more than what you are getting now from your current job.  And at the same time, you can do the cryptocurrency thing while at work or at home, it can be accessed from both work and home. So, assess things first before you make a big decision of your own.  Good luck, mate! =)

I hope it will go up to at least US$ 18,000 to US$ 20,000. But the predictions will always be speculations.  Let's just hope for good pricing in this month or the coming months. =)

Re: Why will Bitcoin Rise Again?
by

Well, it's not really predictable, though people set their predictions on the rise of Bitcoin.  But we all know that there would be a high and low of the prices of Bitcoin, mostly it depends on the big players/holders of the Bitcoin itself to manipulate the market on it.  But I am hoping that it will increase though.  Wink

I hope not since I don't have Ripple cryptocurrency.  But as we can see, the Bitcoin marketcap still way high than the Ripple marketcap.  Maybe someday it will be dethroned once the Ripple cap made more than the Bitcoin.  So, let's wait and see how it will turn out to be.

Re: Why people sell bitcoins?
by
cue
on 02/01/2018, 17:17:27 UTC
People sell bitcoins because they want to investment on other coins available in the market that has a potential big profit, or people sell bitcoins because they want to get back investments in fiat currency. But usually, people sell it because they want to invest more on different cryptocurrencies that would bear profits in the future.

Re: Bitcoin dominance dropping hard
by

on 02/01/2018, 15:36:12 UTC
Yes, the dominance is dropping hard but still the Bitcoin remains the most dominant among the cryptocurrencies there is.  We cannot predict what will happen in the next few days or months.  People have predicted last November early on that the Bitcoin will have a price of US$ 10,000 at the end of the year 2017, but it was more than that, it even reached the price of US$ 20,000 during the period of December 2017.

Re: Is the 21 milion of bitcoin a real limit?
by
cue
on 02/01/2018, 15:20:18 UTC
I think this is the limit as mentioned in the coinmarketcap and i guess it's better to have this limitation of mining bitcoin because it will give good value in the value.  Once limited cryptocurrencies, i think it means have high value because there's only 21,000,000 on it.
