Really impressed by the game thus far.

It surprises me that people here are just replying and don't even seem to try it.

Did you even read the thread and the reply by Quoc?

What you suggest? They change title afterwards? That would make the reactions in the thread look weird. And how should they then call it? Seems to me this actually is the first real/fair dice game fully on the blockchain after reading their explanations and documentation.

This reply makes zero sense to me. It be the same as saying cryptocurrency is not innovative, its only another form of payment.

Quanta apparently made a dice game that is more in the spirit of crypto. Lets hope others follow their lead.

When running cryptonight it exits on start with the error:

GPU #0: an illegal memory access was encountered cryptonight_extra_cpu_final line 235

I run with --intensity=18. If I remove that I don't get the error (but I cannot use my system so thats no option ;-))

yeah. but if I send the money to the exchange for 0.00000021 (it takes a few minutes) and they want to send it back for 0.01 there is something wrong.

Anyone knows a good exchange that does not charge those insane withdrawal fees? I wanted to send a few cents to another wallet to test but I cannot get it exchanged and not back because of the high TX fee.

I thought that digital currencies were fast and cheap but it looks like a normal wire is cheaper and faster... ;-). I probably did not find the good exchange. anyone advise?

Maybe setting "--farm-retried 0" would do it. I haven't tested it, but read the source code.



I really see "--farm-retries" and not with a d (just as I had it) in the code: https://github.com/ethereum-mining/ethminer/blob/master/ethminer/MinerAux.h#L138

And I got it from the batch file examples in the FAQ from miningpoolhub.com so I think the example is not working as described.

If it is not working maybe better change the example...

On the FAQ page you have a list of commands, one for each algorithm. However when I have ethminer in that list it never gets passed that:
