Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss
by
curved9inch
on 17/08/2017, 20:43:48 UTC
Bitcoin is worth something simply because people believe in the project and so many people have already invested millions of dollar for the tech to flourish. Also, it is a way to free us from the oppression of the banks and government from those absurdly high fees just by spending "our own" money. Imagine yourself still paying for insanely high fees just to buy something that you want for your own money, bitcoin somehow removes that.

If you have 20 bitcoin and now suddenly it rise . Sure you can build a house here since the 20 bitcoin us 600k php .That is a big money enough to build your home. So much better you do now is to earn bitcoin to have a good profit and you can get a millioner if you have a lot of bitcoin. And you can build or buy a house for your family.

Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin

Bitcoin is gradually recognized by various states and in spite of some progress on the course to become one of the options to diversify savings, as well as in some cases, a means of "transport" of finance.

According to the latest news from China, investors are massively convert their savings into Bitcoin, which caused the growth rate.
According to Russia, where the fate of Bitcoin has not yet been solved, but the problem is solved, the government is considering Bitcoin as one of the solutions to circumvent economic sanctions.
In view of this, I think, Bitcoin will grow even more.

Re: Bitcoin price
by

The price of bitcoin is a bit meaningless outside of the bitcoin user community as not many places use bitcoin or depends on bitcoin. Bitcoin marketcap is also very small compared to the world financial system so right now the impact is very miniscule.

Re: Mining coins save or sell it?
by

on 17/08/2017, 20:26:09 UTC
The best thing to do with coins you have mined is store them of course. You can also sell them but why are you mining then
just for the money or in the hope you will get rich out of the coins you've mined. So i prefer to hold them and wait for
the best selling price.

Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020
by
curved9inch
on 17/08/2017, 20:21:17 UTC
by that year 2020 my guess was  only 5% because the population of the world is so huge and  as of now only a little percentage or partition of  it  maybe 1% or less than are people who knew bitcoin. Somehow it would be added up in upcoming years since bitcoin is becoming popular.

I think the signature campaign is the best way for a very stable income and without any risk. but the results are not too high.

for me it might be better to take a little risk, but the result is quite high, as do trade.

Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ?
by
curved9inch
on 17/08/2017, 19:47:40 UTC
Don't really know what would happen with bitcoin in the future but for now I believe it's at highest peak and is not gonna drop down to like 5-6 years. That will be insane if it really happens but I don't see any reasons for that to happen. Bitcoin has already gotten developments done which were necessary to push it to the current situation. Bitcoin will now keep growing from here onwards with little drops. I have observed bitcoin goes up to highest peak and then get stabilised to that point really.

Re: The legalization of bitcoin.
by

So you are hoping for the creation of an independant state because of Bitcoin on an island. This is impossible for the sole reason that no state will leave sovereignty over a piece of its land, so except if your plan is to buy a whole country that will not be feasable.

Re: Bitcoin to be international currency
by
curved9inch

Bitcoin is already international currency and bitcoin is just waiting for adoption from other countries. I hope this coming bitcoin halving can help bitcoin to be more popular and gain more users so someday the price will increase so high and we can earn a lot of money from that.

Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country?

I think the main problem of the country's economy is not on the currency but because of government policies on economics, politics and so on. in spite of the bitcoin then no guarantee can improve the economy country.

by

on 17/08/2017, 18:01:36 UTC
I just thought about it but... you're taking the problem the wrong way ^^

In fact, to have a stable price, bitcoin would need to be much more popular!
The only way to stabilise price is to get a mainstream currency
