Re: Is Bitcoin a Good Investment? Does Hodl Work?
by

Yes, HODL does work.

For example, I bought at peak in 2017, that means I am still holding until now, and I will never get panic despite of what would happen to the market.

so you say HODL works, but it has not worked for you, are you Jeremy Corbyn?

Well, I honestly wouldn´t bet to much on an away-win here. I am a bit biased (anti-Bayern) but still playing on english ground haven´t been that tasty for hungry Bavarians in the past and the bookies already include the recent form of both teams to their odds to make the away side favorites, I wouldn´t touch the odds for Bayern with the risk of a draw involved.

Keep in mind a draw at White Hard Lane and a win at home in the 2nd leg will make them winning the group comfortably already, so there is no need for high risk to go for the 3 points tomorrow.

the terms of the 100 bonus for deposit, state that to recieve the player must turnover 20*, all within 30 days

I understand why this term is so, and is fair for both player and bookie.

But, some scam books will limit bets to micro amounts if a player becomes likely to achieve the objective.

Will buff.bet limit players before they can play through the required times?

bitcoin chartists live in fantasy land
by
custard_pudding

technical anaylists, chartists it is fantasy.
Any one can draw line on a chart, draw a line and say a 1000 words, but it is all in the past.
What matters is in the future, and then their lines are 50% right, and 50% wrong.
The future price of bitcoin depends on many things, many have not even been spoken of yet, make a list of good , and bad what could happen.

And only then decide whether to buy or sell.

If I buy a bitcoin a bitcoin for 10000 dollars, and sell for 10200
Obviously I have gained 200 Usd.
But then out of the gain I must pay commision, if this has happened what exchange would have been least commision?
In principle, on any exchange You can do it.Is it a big difference for You to pay $ 1 or $ 2 for a commission?I think it is a trifle which is not even worth mentioning. As for bitcoin, it makes no sense to buy it and then immediately sell it.It is better to buy and wait for the profit to be more significant.

Are you saying that whatever exchange is used when buying a bitcoin, and then selling a bitcoin
the difference in commission is only 1 dollar?

How much does an exchange( for eg) coinbase, which is no where near the biggest.
BitcoinUSD runs about 20000 traded per day
each traded of the 20000 at top rate sees the coinbase get around 45usd
I don't understand how they can charge so much.

And then they have numerous other pairs traded.

if they sold all their holdings in short time, then the true believers could buy at low, low prices.
The non believers would panic and sell, and in 2 years would moan how they didn't buy at low, low prices

Gambling can be about fun, or can be about winning.
People who win, put in time and study and learn all about percentages, probability and hundreds of other things.
People for fun, well they just have fun.
Problems arrive when people think they can join winning group by guessing and without effort or learning.

@FreedonHustler you have youth on your side, but at the moment you seem to  not having fun, and not win either.
Maybe gambling is not for you.

just joined, site looks good but how to get your stakes, I don,t know.
By the way, you will lose all your money if you offer 50% bonus on 7 combi bets with odds higher than 3. its just not sustainable.
People will just choose 6 selections at 1.01, and add their pick of odds at around 2.9, you end up paying odds of 4
You need to have a low limit of 1.2 odds for each of the 7 combi, to get near breakeven
I am advising you of this error, because I like the look of your site, and Hope soon you will take bitcoin

KYC and the $5 hammer
by

A theme  topic, whatever often talked about on this forum, is the $5 hammer attack.
Many people suggest to keep your bitcoin holdings secret, thus preserving the anonymity of bitcoin to a certain degree.
But then you get sportsbooks asking for photos and passports, and god only knows what else.
If a sportsbook wants all this, I respectly suggest they change to fiat.

Why don't US gov buy a trillion worth of bitcoin?
by
custard_pudding
on 16/07/2019, 23:32:25 UTC
We all know the US gov rules, dictate to rest of the world.
So if they cornered the btc market, afterwards the btc price could only go up, factor with this  a few btc friendly directives, and a massive coup would have been achieved.
What is the downside?
