Re: Best ICO to invest (2018) ?
by

on 07/08/2018, 17:30:10 UTC
Personally I like projects that have some use in the real world, and that have a platform ready to deploy their tokens, I also look for active projects, that telegram communities are talking about it and that you have good opinions and recommendations, I do not want to be a shill but there are many projects in ICOreview or icobench that you can browse to give you an idea of what will generate a good ROI.

Re: ICO without whitepaper
by

they can exist without a whitepaper if they are in a very early stage of development, but if they are already halfway through the scheduled launch date and don't have a white paper that's a big flaw and quite suspicious for me. because any serious project has to have the whitepaper ready in the announcement to attract future investors with their vision

Re: Does ETH movements depend on BTC ?
by
cutehoof
on 29/07/2018, 03:01:56 UTC
The existence of both Bitcoin and ethereum pairs with usd, AND the BTC/ETH ratio pair, create an incredibly easy arbitrage opportunity. It's because the ratio doesn't automatically change when one or both USD price changes, so sometimes they don't line up. Let's say that the ratio is .1, and a bunch of people buy just eth with usd, driving the usd price up. The actual USD price of eth divided by the USD price of btc changes, but the price on the ratio pairing doesn't change until people trade on it.

What this ends up meaning is that there are always opportunities to profit off of the inefficiency between both USD prices and the ratio. There are a lot of bots set up to do exactly this. So in order for one piece to rise or fall faster than the other, the trading volume on that coin has to be high enough beat the volume of the bots holding the price together.

So it hits up to $35 per EOS. Then what? Are you going to sell your stash? What about the massive amounts of dapps Air Drops coming out between August 2018 to the end of the year.

In my Opinion, half of those dapps are going to be worth A LOT in the near future.

Re: Alt coins worth buying

there are various types of coin you should look for, let me help with that:

Long-term - something that warrants a blockchain. Not every idea needs one. Something that will or could disrupt an industry. Something that solves a real-world problem, not just a convenience. Active and experienced team. Professional communications. Excellent website with transparency. Low market cap. Residual application or multiplicity. Clear roadmap and low barrier to entry

Short term - hype-worthy but not yet hyped. Low supply and low market cap. Masternode or lending. Moderate yet legit exchange. Volume over $50k. Tangible incentives. Active team/communications.

Basically, you can choose a shit coin with a low entry point and if it's hype-worthy, goodwill will do the work for you. XIOS is a prime example. Look for a pump and dump trends and see their signs before they happen.

I think carboneum would be a good crypto if you want to invest in something that not everyone knows and has a lot of potentials to multiply your profits quickly. Carboneum is building a democratized social trading platform. They intend to serve a basic functionality for copy follower & leader on their own trading platform called StockRadars... Basically building the open infrastructure for investment knowledge sharing with impressive incentive model. Above all, StockRadars is the only exclusive partner of a renowned app. LINE Thailand, the provider of a market-leading chat application, in developing a service called LINE FINANCE and together they have accumulated a large and still-growing user base of 4.8 million people, So is very promising if you like to trade.

I think that sleep is a fundamental part of human functioning, with the lack of sleep all your functions start to fail and you will not function optimally, you can do it 1 time because, for example, you have a ANN thread to translate and for some reasons you could not do it during the day, so you have to finish it at the last minute, but very rarely will it be worth it, nothing like a good night's rest.

VEN. I'm biased because i hold a lot of VEN, but I hold it because I believe in it so much of course. Imo, VEN is on a whole other level compared to the other coins you hold, save maybe XLM and ETH.

Also, maybe some IOTA? Have you looked into it?

Loong run. These things are not limited in time.

On top of my currency/ collectibles, my aim is to stake the coming infrastructure (aion, icx, chainlink, nebulas etc) .. and stake somewhat will hopefully be successful supply chains (first decent use case I see)

Then my guilty pleasure, Nexus

Re: How to get fast rich in crypto world.

Some believe that, you can perfectly work and just buy coins in free time and HODL but if you really want to make the best of the opportunities that crypto offers and you really want to get as rich as possible, you will want to have enough time to review/analyze coins, read, watch youtube videos, open accounts in different exchanges, move your capital to whatever offers you more value, reinvest earnings in coins that offer the best value for your money as possible. All this requires time, believe me, I see my friends working and trying to invest in crypto and they are stressed because they see the amazing opportunities at the moment but do not have time because they have to work, they prefer to miss the opportunity of their lifetimes for a job.

There's already an ICO for everything, that's why there is so much junk and scam in the market, you always have to analyze the ICO before signing up for a bounty, it's good that you investigate the team, the white paper, the roadmap and if the bounty manager is to be trusted, of course, that doesn't guarantee that the bounty will be successful, but at least it increases your chances of success.

Multiple economy and financial sources say it will, then again this is all new territory. Just look at governments, they're running around with their heads cut off trying to figure out what to do about this new asset, if you can call it that. The history of the stock market might be a look at meaningless charts that have no correlation with crypto charts. It's all really exciting and IMO the start of a new economy. Depending on how hard this next recession hits, it might secure crypto's place in our evolving species. As an infrastructure to new tech and human reasoning.

I used mercatox and the only time it was sketchy was when I couldn't get my XRB out. Fixed itself after a while, apparently their withdraw issues were a technical problem that they worked out with the developer of RaiBlocks and since then it's been working well, is worth using for coins exclusive to merc. Does look shady af tho, not very clean UI.

Re: Is Westland Storage the next BitConnect SCAM?
by

on 03/07/2018, 03:35:42 UTC
This site claims that it is a real estate investment platform in which investors can purchase individual square feet of real estate which is then supposedly rented or leased out. The profits from doing this are then returned to the investor at a rate of 1% per day. The company claims that this profit is absolutely guaranteed and that there is no risk of any kind of loss whatsoever.

If your mental alarm bells aren’t going off already, they should be.

Something with future - ETH, ICON, WAN, VEN, NANO, ADA, IOTA.
It's a good idea to risk a little also with some utility tokens, like PRL for an example. If it succeeds, hodlers will be well off. If not, there's still a practical use for the stash.

eth went up a fantastic amount, but bitcoin is currently in the public's perception. its front page news in all the newspapers, and google trends and searches are mostly for bitcoin and not ethereum. sure, those of us that are in the know, already know that ethereum has momentum and developer mindshare to be the dominant blockchain, but the public doesn't know it yet. but perhaps they will soon

In 2018 we were told the following events would increase or decrease the price of bitcoin.
Chinese New Year
End of financial year tax return
Consensus
South Korean authorities
Lower transaction fees
These are some of the many so-called events, none of which had any positive effect on price.

A problem with this altcoin is that the complexity of Ethereum leaves it open to potential scamming. Projects with backdoor loopholes programmed into them could be possible. Sure you can bring third parties to ensure and regulate but that starts to defeat the whole purpose of blockchain

Re: bitcoin in developing countries
by

on 25/06/2018, 01:40:49 UTC
I have always thought about that, bitcoin and other altcoins are very used in my country (developing country) but it is to have some currency that is not the local one, the problem that I still see is that although there are places that accept cryptos, the suppliers still do not accept them and that would be a barrier when it comes to popularizing them.
