It's so nice that you guys missed me! I'm on a vacation for the next two weeks, but I will post here from time to time.
And yes, I'm still in contact with Bytecoin devs.

Its my first post here on this thread and I was missing you. I check the price of BCN over at

http://coinmarketcap.com/

Do you think they are accurate?

Thanks for your work, by the way.

Thank you!

The price seems to be correct. Why are you asking?

He might have thought its too low? Idk.

So in the beginning activity rises slowly, but with the time, even if you post rarely it will still be growing?

I rarely help homeless, but if help - buy them food. I agree, that we are all the same people, but until homeless have hands and legs they can work. Just sitting and asking for money isn't the right thing to do.  Sad

Love almost how engine of any car sounds. But most of all love Pontiac GTO '68. The design and the sound of engine are both perfect to me.

Re: Taxes

I would like to start selling things in exchange for bitcoins. The problem is that I live in California, and we have a sales tax here. I was wondering if anybody knew how to deal with that. (If the government doesn't yet recognize Bitcoins as currency, do I still have to pay taxes to them for sales that I make?)
I think it depends on whether you tell government on what amount of things you have and how you do business. If you do it from legal entity, then you have to pay taxes as you tell government what and when you had sell this or that thing. But if you have a small internet shop, than you don't have nothing to do with taxes.

Just to imagine I think that only crypto currencies will exist, may be key will be integrated into human bodies, like in Johnny Mnemonic movie. But it's only fantasies. Everything depends now on government and how they will take bitcoin and other currencies.

Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick?
by

on 09/05/2014, 12:28:02 UTC
What to pick depends on the rate. The question is wrong, what did you mean? 1 bit coin vs 1 kilo of gold? Or BTC and Gold in equivalent of 1000 USD? I would pick gold as I always can change it for everything.  Grin Grin Grin

As a person who has a couple of friends in Russia, who use PCs for mining I can tell you that there are no strict rules against bitcoin. They told me that there are some difficulties in exchanging it for cash, but nothing more than that.

I think it's free to use as long as bitcoin belong to everyone and no one has seen Satoshi Nakamoto. You are up to use it anyway you want.

At first I heard of it in 2008 in some magazine, but did not pay much attention. And a couple of months ago my friend started asking me about cryptocurrency, how it is safe to mine and what possible risks are. Now we got a couple of PC with ATI 7970.

IMO the more currency it exists the more it is spread the cheaper it is, and as long as it doesn't have such support as bitcoin it is cheaper. And agree with jabo38, that it is a copy of bitcoin

Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014
by
cyberlink
on 05/05/2014, 11:27:40 UTC
Only BTC is valuable.

But it's too hard to mine because of the diff.
Why not to try luck with altcoins? There is a big variety of alcoins with different features.
Just need to choose the coin which meets the requirements of anonymity and ,IMHO, must  be CPU only to get rid of participation in unfair race that happens with GUI mining coins
