Well putting it in your data center would have been better but I still have 1 1/2 years left on my 2 year lease so I am basically screwed.

Ok so this may be the wrong forum for this question if so I apologize.

If I order 20 SP30's for my 40U cabinet what size circuit will I need to power these machines, the sales guy at my data center is telling me I will need a 208V 30Amp 3 phase circuit.
Is this correct or is this guy out of his mind?

Thanks

So I have been reading the reviews that people have posted and decided to buy some machines, I went through the ordering process and decided to wire transfer the money but the bank that they want me to send to is in the Czech Republic and I am a little nervous about this.

Has anyone purchased from Spondoolies and made a wire transfer, was there any problems.

Thanks

Hey Sushi

You say that you secured the Feb 11th batch, so just curious but if I pay before the 11th when will the product ship on the 11th or on another day?

Thanks!

Looks like your running 1 PSU for both antminers, how's that working out for you?
I'd like to try 1 PSU for 2 miners what do you recommend?

Thanks

Awesome job, this is what I need so that it will be easier to rack in a data center.

Kudos!

Waiting times should be made obvious before ordering I think.  Even if approximate.  Is this planned Ken?

waiting times, are presented when you make a order. You don't need to check out.

This is not true I just went through the process of ordering one up until where you have to pay and never anytime during the order process up until the payment process I was never given a shipping date. I'd like to pull the trigger and get one but I would like to know the shipping date even if it's an approximation.

that's a good idea putting Plastikoat inside an old computer case and then mounting the backplane.

Thanks for the advice I was just going to toss this blade but I think I will pull out the old soldering iron and see if that does the trick.
 Cool

That's a great idea haven't used a soldering iron in more years than I'd like to admit.  Do you have a good place where I can buy an SMD R code fuse?

Hey I have a new question and maybe you can help

Do you have a backplane and if so what kind of surface did you lay it on, was wondering if I lay it on a metal surface will that short out the backplane.

I am use to putting motherboards on standoffs when I build a new computer rig.

Thanks again for your help

So SSB got back to me and told me that the new blades don't have fuses, looks like I may have fried the board   D' oh!     Angry

Ok well SSB has not gotten back to me but I think I will buy a power supply and see if that works could be that the backplane is bad.

Thanks for your help

So here is the type of fuse I have:

And here it is on the board, does not look like it can be removed:

My blade does not exactly look like that, is it a V2 blade? I think I see what you are talking about it has an "R" imprinted on it and is dark red in color and below that has F1 imprinted on the board.

I sent a message to SSB about fuses included in the box.

Thanks
