Hello! Here are my artworks on the topic "Cryptoart" https://5ksana.art/category/cryptoart/
You are supposed to submit Roobet themed artwork, not crypto stuff in general, as per rule in the first post:

Quote
Create an original art piece that somehow highlights Roobet, its logo or mascot Mr.Roo. This piece can be digital, hand drawn a gif or anything you could think of as long as you are able to showcase it here on bitcointalk.

Can a handmade product (physical product) be created?

did you read the op?
i recon you just saw the thread title and went off on you own little tangent.

cant believe the posts so far, the op states the rules and requirements.

scammers will try and try how to screw crypto users. remember the apps or bounty programs that you signed up for requesting your respective phone number. maybe, one way or another, they got a hold of such database. who knows, some crypto projects are intentionally getting the phone numbers of their participants to sell it in the dark web. so better be careful if a certain project is asking for your phone number or other vital info, make sure that they are legit and know the reason why they are asking for it. they can deceive those gullible users. they are just finding their next victim. hope users will know this kind of tactic so they can totally avoid to be the next prey of these scammers.

Good point, information is valuable, our information is valuable and it looks like aoluain's info may have been sold.
i have created accounts on numerous exchanges which i dont even use anymore, we all do it and we should really think twice about parting with not just our phone number but our personal information.
maybe a lesson from this is to have a second phone number for registrations and such, one we dont have to monitor.

I suppose this has its merits but also drawbacks, i have not heard of this before until this thread.

Do you get paid into a wallet of your choosing or into a wallet designated by bitwage?
that would be a disadvantage if you couldnt choose your own wallet.

The most important thing to bitcoin is the internet. At the very worst, If the internet got shut out allover the globe.
1. The nodes wouldn't be able to run/communicate
2. Mining would be impossible
3. Transactions would not be possible
4. The value/demand would consequently drop to Zero as people wouldn't be interested in buying something that doesn't work
5. The End

Yes but in the near future we wont be reliant on the internet as we know it now!

Take SpaceX's Starlink project which from the opening text from the Starlink website states "
SpaceX is leveraging its experience in building rockets and spacecraft to deploy the world's most advanced broadband internet system."

https://www.starlink.com

The world in regards to Communication, FInance, Trade and Navigation etc. is too reliant on the Internet it simply is not going to end.

The only thing I can see ending Bitcoin is a Hack and lockdown or lockout [I dont know how that would happen or if it is possible, but in my imagination this seems quite dramatic!]

Re: The pool of New Cryptocurrency investors are getting smaller
by
cynical

If That's the Case then btc might drop to Zero.

Drop to Zero, really, are you serious?

So absolutely everyone currently involved in Bitcoin is going to totally abandon it,
people stop buying and selling, miners have nothing to mine and turn their thousands of hardware units off,
developers turn their computers off and stop communicating with each other, and so on and so on . . .

that is not going to happen!

bitcoin involvement in general will always change depending on what developments are made in adoption, rules and regulations made by various governments, FIAT value, hype and general movements in trends towards it. If one group of people declines another will grow but overall adoption and interest in Bitcoin will increase and that may not always show in the FIAT value.

Very interesting, I just visited the site https://crypto.com/en/cards.html to check it out and it certainly looks interesting with minimal fees.
some nice incentives to get involved too but it looks like you gotta be staking to get those rewards.

Re: Make Money By Listening to Music
by
cynical
on 18/01/2020, 20:33:17 UTC

LET ME KNOW WHICH ONE YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE...

CURATOR OR ARTIST

ITS TIME FOR YOU TO THRIVE!

This One:

I'm going to get to the gist of this quickly so you can make some money.

You listen to music and curate playlists for spotify. You can get paid up to 12 dollars per song review.

If you have spotify list with 400+ followers , you can get paid.

And if you don't have 400+ , I'll send you details on how to acquire them quickly so u can get paid doing it.

BTW. is this expensive? how much do you charge? send me all the details. I must tell I don't have any followers on spotify. and I don't have any list too. but I can create one if it's beneficial.

it isn't expensive. You will earn up to 12 dollars per song that you review. I can send you the method to build your followers for your playlist.
i take it that the spotify account has to be a paid account and not a free account?

Re: Bitcoin Daily Living
by
cynical
on 14/01/2020, 22:37:44 UTC
In my case, there are two main factors why it's still hard to use Bitcoin "daily". For my daily living and expenses, it's hard since there's still no enough acknowledgement of Bitcoin in my place because there's still no law about it. Another reason is its volatility. I can't just use it to buy things everyday, I still have to monitor the market. But if I have the opportunity to use it, it's a great opportunity to use it in reality aside from online

But to use bitcoin to a transaction will really cost you allot in your daily living. I probably suggest you use bitcoin for huge transactions though, still included in your daily life, but take advantage of the cryptocurrencies we have. Bitcoin is not the only crypto we could use but it could serve as the main currency we need, and  we could convert it to other assets such as XRP or ethereum daily, allot for transactions that we are making. In this case, we aren't just using bitcoin, but incorporating the use of altcoin. Thus, utilizing more cryptocurrency will lead to better crypto adoption.

Bitcoin transaction fees are not as expensive as a lot of people think.
https://bitcoinfees.info

Next Block Fee: fee to have your transaction mined on the next block (10 minutes).$0.39
3 Blocks Fee: fee to have your transaction mined within three blocks (30 minutes).$0.39
6 Blocks Fee: fee to have your transaction mined within six blocks (1 hour).$0.18

this is not an expensive price to pay for a large degree of privacy IMO

Re: Did YouTube remove bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies channels from the site?.
by
cynical
on 14/01/2020, 22:17:42 UTC
On December 23, 2019, Google’s YouTube.com began removing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies related content from the video-sharing platform in what’s being called a “crypto-purge,” leaving content creators in the bitcoin and cryptocurrency vertical unjustly attacked by the web-search conglomerate. According to Forbes, at least 35 crypto-focused YouTube channels were affected by the purge, including ChrisDunnTV, Nugget News, Crypto Tips, and BTC Sessions. More prominent publishers such as CoinTelegraph and CNBC, appear to have been spared. I have found this info here https://techandmedialaw.com/youtube-content-creators-in-bitcoin-genre-red-flagged-was-it-an-error/  but I need more clarification, what actually happened by Youtube?.
There is no official announcement from Facebook or Google about "crypto-purge", many crypto channels are still ok. May be deleted channels has contents relate to ICO/ Investing so Youtube think that it is scam (https://reclaimthenet.org/youtube-confusing-response-cryptocurrency-purge/)

I did a search in relation to this and can find the same or similar article here https://www.forbes.com/sites/billybambrough/2019/12/26/googles-youtube-goes-to-war-with-bitcoin-and-crypto-update/#3bfb9461b634
a quick search on youtube shows lots and lots of crypto content,

fake news and all the media hop on it because its crypto?

Re: Who are Bitcoin's Unsung Heroes?
by
cynical
on 12/01/2020, 10:15:49 UTC
I wonder if these unsung heroes in bitcoin's era are also given their proper reward for their contribution to the development of bitcoin. Way back before, I highly think that satoshi alone created bitcoin, thinking that blockchain already exists but no, Satoshi together with these people helped the whole world to have a currency that solves most of the problem and inconveniency that fiat currency is providing people for a long time. I believe, they still continue working in relation to how to better increase the efficiency of bitcoin and I hope soon, I could also contribute to its growth.

of course there were other developers who created a platform for Satoshi to create Bitcoin, Hal Finney and Nick Szabo, obviously they contributed to Bitcoin as well as being involved in developing a digital currency on the lead up to Bitcoin.

i voted ETH.

Staking a minimum of 32 ETH sholu yeild a nice passive income and at todays prices it is hard to pass up on the opportunity to buy cheap. I think this will lift the price if ETH, a prime example is DASH.

ETH staking goes live Q1 2020

it seems like something from a move or something unrealistic but i say it will be possible.
with how quickly technology is moving forward as well as medical advancements i would not rule it out for the future.

take a look at Star Trek from the 70's and 80's look at some of the technology that Captain Kirk and his crew used, similar technology can be seen in use today, anything is possible (kind of)

they used the first smartphones.....

I think the "search" facility is completely overlooked by the majority of users.
If you are in a signature campaign you just want to post and using the search facility could potentially knock your efforts.

We a know that the forum is riddled with repeat posts throughout as number of years like
Who is satoshi...... (Or anything about Satoshi)
Is now the best time to buy/sell

I haven't been active her for a while and I come back to see that things haven't changed,
still people are speculating about Satoshi.

Bitcoin is doing just fine since he disappeared, development has progressed too.
That is how he created it and left it, so that it can be developed by anyone not just one single figure because there is strength in that and it's one of the reasons bitcoin is so strong.
