Re: Bitcoin Rising, Scams Rising
by

on 19/05/2019, 04:15:15 UTC
Actually with the growing price of bitcoins such number of growing scams can too be expected. Peoples are getting wise and their heads are filling up with the scammy or shaddy ideas. More and more advanced means of scamming are been invented to rip people's money apart. Reading this news, I feel upset and also a bit afraid. The funds which we store in bitcoins might not be safe reading these kind of news but keeping the money safe depends on each of the individual.

We have a lot of varieties and options to store our bitcoins into which can be safest and impossible to hack into. Also, the government as well as the media is always in search of "BITCOIN SCAM" and not "DOLLAR SCAM" only because of bitcoins being decentralized.

Re: RED is spreading like a wildfire

[im g]https://pbs.twimg.com/media/D6wGKcHUcAA5FzH.jpg[/img]

Right now, the cryptocurrency marketplace is colored RED as the correction is setting in. Bitcoin lost around 10% of its price after touching the $8,000+ level the other way and is now steadying at $7,300+ for now. Other major altcoins followed the same trajectory as they also shed some   of what they gained the past few days. Interestingly, just a huge single transaction triggered this ongoing "crash" if I am allowed to use this term.

Just another turn of events confirming how volatile bitcoin and the rest of its gang is...one day we are all excited as it passed the $8K level and then soon we saw the red spreading like a big wildfire. However, volatility is a two-edged sword...soon it is back on the game and on track to win over the $10,000 prize.

This wild redfire could be considered as the start of a major thing coming up. Anytime bitcoin or any other coin reaches top there is at least some minor dumps experienced where a lot of big whales start buying the coins. These kind of dips are usually common before the high pump coming up so I do not think major number of peoples would mark the price fall as fatal. Instead even though falling 10%, bitcoins are up as the price for them weeks before was struggling to cross $5000 which now is above $7000 which itself is a great achievement. The price for bitcoins may cross $10,000 which would be my first target followed by second and third targets.

Re: What do you think ? Is this an opportunity to get in or get out
by
d1ceplayer
on 18/05/2019, 12:02:06 UTC
Bitcoin has become more popular in the financial world due to its sudden growth but When I see exchanges there is a high percentage of people who are trying to sell there Bitcoins to make temporary gains using current price increase and some fear this is a temporary situation so they use this moment to abandon the market but My personal opinion is they doesn't understand this is a time that any investor should invest more into Bitcoins because after along time BTC has shown us it is not a Bubble or just another financial failure so as investors we should have a clear understanding in order to make this opportunity an advantage
A lot of peoples think that the price for bitcoins could be manipulated and pumped or dumped as per the need. It is not at all like this. The price for bitcoins depends on the demand and supply factor and even the peoples holding huge amount of bitcoins could not that easy change the price for bitcoins. There are a lot of big whales, financial trainees and institutes investing into the cryptocurrencies which surely tends to attract their attention and in this situation it would be a funny thing if anyone tries to exit the market. The crypto markets have started to grow and a lot of growth can be expected in the coming future so "Getting IN" bitcoins is a better choice for me.

Sorry your friend is the one who is dumb here. Why would he choose to throw money a site he knows nothing about?? Like who even does such a thing?? I am not that stupid. I don't just jump on a search page and looking for any site that I can use for gambling when I already know that the Internet is filled with scammers and there are lots of websites that are owned by them. These days the level of scammers in the Internet is high and the number of fake websites are now more than the legit ones. So I cannot make such a mistake.

Re: KYC procedure in online casinos does more good than bad or the other way around?
by
d1ceplayer
on 17/05/2019, 10:07:04 UTC
Uhm, i think having KYC makes things a lot safe. But one thing you should know is that even scammers can request for KYC, and that means double for them, if you go to the extent of depositing before realizing it's a scam. They will make away with your money and also sell the info you've given to them to the dark web for people needs it, maybe for a criminal purposes, or whatever they need it. So this is one of the reasons why there are people who hates KYC, some people just prefer to stay anonymous and mot give out information about themselves to anyone.

Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽

on 17/05/2019, 06:41:30 UTC
Is there any plans to add any new games ? I mean I know you guys just added 2 new games couple months back but considering I didn't enjoyed the bustadice type of game and video poker only has so much fun in it, it is becoming a bit boring again, thankfully while playing the new games the old ones never got any attention from me Cheesy so I am returning back on playing some of the other games and I am quite enjoying them once again but I wish there was like one game per month type of new addition, it is always awesome for the gamblers to get a new game and I am 99% sure you will see a spike in wagered amount whenever you add a new game.

There was also talks about creating a new sportsbook website for the business after dice and casino, is that still on the plans as well?

So close to 6 years!!
Yup if I am not mistaken it is only a day left before their 6th anniversary.
Couldn't wvwn believe it this remind me that I also have been around for a couple of years in crypto.
Time really does fly so fast when you are enjoying it.
In bitcoin world running a business for 6 years without a problem is unheard of. Can you think of another website that has been around for over 6 years and still currently active? There might be one that I don't know but I can't really think of any place. Its a marvelous accomplishment for you guys and I thank every single person who is working on primedice AND worked before but no longer with the team for helping primedice be what it is today.

You guys have always been an example website that we could show to everyone to say "this is how you run a casino" and you have always kept that up so I thank you for that. I really think you guys created a website not only is great but also showed all other casinos how to be great so many people saw you guys as their idols and started their business and became somewhat good themselves. Here is to many more 6 years!

I'm sorry for those that are still wasting, though I do know that everyone is not meant to be lucky in this, there are people that are meant to fail and that's it, it's how it works. There are even people that wouldn't invest till reaches the peak price and they are the ones you will see later on who will come to the forum and be complaining about the price and talking about another bull. Even right now, I'm not afraid of the price falling back to $6000, cause even at that rate I will still have something to take home with me. I have taken the risks and I have been able to have the patience for a long time, which I will still continue to have till I reach the end of this bull.

I don't know if I'm the only that is tired of learning all these things? Tomorrow they will still come with another model. I'm just going to stay by the side and let those that have studied and knows it all keep telling what's going to be and what's not. This is too much, I can't even grab a single thing what you have written here.

But well, I just like that you said the market is bullish at this time. Though one thing you will have to know is that once a whale pulls out a heavy sum of money then you will start to see the price drop back again. This is all about the big investors, they move and the price follows them to that direction.

Lol, some people's comments are quite funny, how they think they are safe wiht the IEO. you're not even sure about that, and anything can happen. A project that seems good can today can turn out to be a scam tomorrow, you never know all these, they do happen. I have seen a lot of projects that started out as being legit but at the end they turned to something else. Even ICO ends today, scammers are still going think of other ways they can continue their work of getting people scammed. It's all about knowing the projects you choose and the team behind it.

Re: Is it a value reserve?
by
d1ceplayer
on 15/05/2019, 10:43:33 UTC
Because could bitcoin represents a value reserve or acts as a "digital gold", really could it change the world in a deterministic sense?
Bitcoin has come to stay and in many decades to come, bitcoin will be used as store value or reserve after the adoption rate has become so high, by the time the adoption rate becomes high, it is expected that the  price of bitcoin would have almost turned to a stable coin then because of its very low or no volatility in its market.

That would be in the future though, but for now, I doubt if bitcoin is really good to serve as digital gold now, since we are still at its early developmental stage and the market volatility is still very high. So bitcoin serving as digital gold in future could really change the world.

Re: Can we Now Comfortably Say We have Entered the Bull Run?
by
d1ceplayer
on 15/05/2019, 09:58:27 UTC
I can't literally say that we are in the bull market now but I am sure that this is a good sign for bitcoin and to other cryptocurrency and this is also a chance to those holders that are still holding since the bear market start in 2018. I will just wait for a couple of weeks and if the market of bitcoin is still increasing volume then it is a bull run.
Look like the biggest gainers is Bitcoin, it's raising from $5K to $8K, but most of the altcoin price don't have movement. I think Donald Trump's trade war with China may be a major factor behind bitcoin's sudden rally, according cmc 24 hours trading volume is already double up within 10 days, I'll wait for few more day to make sure it's a bull run or just for sudden rally.
LOL, hope your few more days waiting is not to decide to buy or rather sell, because in buying later, you might not get the chance again, and this is the type of procrastination that makes people end up buying out of FOMO.

I think it has been confirmed now that we are already in bull run, do you know the time it took for bitcoin to increase from $4000 to this value, I don’t think we need any more assurance to know that we are already heading towards a giant price and before you know it, we might really be going to $10000 by the end of this month, so we better buy now that it is still possible.

Just to update. I was able to get my coins. Kucoin support was helpful and timely in assisting me.

I also changed the title of this thread from "Kucoin stole my Polymath?" to "Kucoin delisted Polymath", because the first one may imply deceit.
It’s alright, but you just have to try as much as possible to make sure you do your finding and get your fact right before you make any negative utterance about people and projects, these is how majority of us has killed some business because of our little impatience, and know people generally in this forum and other forum Likes to follow trend without making their own findings to confirm the accusation before joining in condemning too. I am glad they were able to resolve your problem and I am sure you will still continue to use them because they are good and reliable exchange too.

Our 6th birthday is just eight days away!
That means it is races time, with a $25,000 prize pool on the line!
$12,000 to the winner - this is massive. Celebrate our birthday and get involved!
More information at http://bit.ly/2Vpp60O
The 6th birthday of Primedice is a good opportunity for it's users. They have offered $25,000 prize pool among 50 people while first prize is $12,000 and last (50th) prize is 10$. It could be more better if the winner could be atleast 100.
It is really shocking that bitcoin based dice game primedice gives away dollar based rewards. Anyone feels like they would rather see rewards at like 0.1 btc instead of x amount of dollars ? Wouldn't that be more correct way to promote bitcoin as well as primedice at the same time. When even the biggest crypto gambling website in the world gives out prizes pegged to dollar and doesn't change in value when bitcoin goes up it becomes a bit hard to actually convince non-crypto people to adopt bitcoin.

For mass adoption, first we have to start within and convince places like primedice to not use dollar in any of their rewards or promotions or basically anywhere and only use crypto currencies so we can actually tell others to follow and do the same. I would rather have this not be 25 thousand dollars but 4-5 bitcoins giveaway.

Re: How does exchanges work?
by
d1ceplayer
on 14/05/2019, 10:33:00 UTC
You need a huge sum of money before you can build up an exchange, this is for salary of the staff, developers, equipments, etc. You also need some good connection on the government and Malta is very open for cryptocurrency start up that's why they moved there. Binance exchange get profit from coin listing fees and trading fees, i think the only time that an exchange may loss profit is when they got hacked.
I think Binance has already dominated Malta, and it would not be right for smaller exchanges to go there again, except they have very strong competitive features to compete with bitcoinor has any offer they can give to Maltagovernment that will be higher than that of Binance. We still have some other smaller and big countries that are cryptocurrency friendly, I think Russia is also friendly; Huobi has already dominated china because that part of Asia prefers to deal with Huobi.

Irrespective of all these, any good exchange should still be able to operate anywhere provided they are not avoiding task, because I think one of the reason why Binance moved from US is to avoid task, and that is why US is still having some issue with them now.

on 14/05/2019, 08:59:15 UTC
as we've been in a state of bear-trend for almost a year, i'm trying to find another usage of my eth and btc except hodling. do you know any real working crypto-marketplaces? probably it's not a bad option and i would find something really worthful to buy without any doubts of being scammed. kindly waiting for your feedback
So I was able to make a purchase by making use of purse.io ,it was really cool ,though I have no intention of making use of it again. The only thing I really liked about it is the discount they give but I don't really know if I'm going to make use of it, maybe I will make use of it. If you want to buy anything by making use of crypto then you should try the purse site and get a discount. There are also other sites that you can make use of, just like Expedia, you can book whatever you want and make payment by using bitcoin.

So this really started from a long time ago. Really nice to see that someone took out their time to record all these and put them together, so that everyone can be able to see where and how it started. They have been on this since the 70’s and it continued till the last decade and we have got bitcoin from Satoshi who we are yet to know who he is. A lot of people are still confuse at what us the purpose of all this and what bitcoin us really meant for, sometime in the future we will get to know, as for now, it is for a peer-to-peer transaction.

Re: Was Satoshi someone who lost everything in 2008 Market Crash?
by
d1ceplayer
on 13/05/2019, 09:52:45 UTC
Just came across this thought. We all know what happened after the housing debt bubble burst near 2008 which led to a global level depression in 2008 which really ruined lives of millions of people worldwide. It even raised some great question about fiat debt and it's working. Lots of people lost their jobs, houses and everything.

Another fact that Bitcoin was created right after one year in 2009. So do you think there is some chance that satoshi was someone who lost his everything in 2008 crash, his job, his assets and his house.

He was so frustrated with it that his trust on the fiat financial system completely broke. He was sick of government, sick of corporate and sick of banks because of which he thought of creating real money thus creating bitcoin over blockchain and completing it in the very next year. So that people don't lose their money just because of debt bubble
I don't really think so, it can't be that he's among those that such thing happened to. This guy has a wallet where he left over 1.5 million bitcoins in it. In 2017 the worth of those coins puts him on the list of world's richest men. If you ask me, I will say this guy is a rich guy. We just don't know who he is and I don't even know why he's abandoned a wallet with such amount, could it be that he doesn't have access to it any more or he's no longer alive? Whatever, at the end we will all know what it's all about.

Re: BTC $6K, BUY OR SELL
by
d1ceplayer
on 13/05/2019, 06:14:20 UTC
do not hesitate if you had a capital to engage in bitcoin, as long as you can have it go for it because bitcoin has a long way to go, the ATH is 20k dollar meaning as long as the ATH has not reach yet the potential is very high to hit it again, the only thing you need to do is to have a patience waiting for that moment to come again.
Why are you pegging the new ATH to $20k, don’t you believe that the next ATH could go above $20k, bitcoin doesn’t follow history that much, every new day we wake up into BTC has a different factor contributing to its growth, the factor that saw the price of bitcoin to $20k in the last Bull run may definitely not be the same factor that will repeat itself this time.

If you peg the new ATH to $20k now, how do you expect those who are yet to recover from the last bull mistake make profit, it means once we reach ATH of $20k again, they can only take their capital and won’t be able to get profit for the long wait, that is not so fair to them, we need more than the $20k in this next bull.
