d3athrow, I guess the admins will ban that guy asap. They usually reply to such request within a very short time as soon as they are online. I think it's only two of them so we should allow them some free offline time, as well Smiley
I regard to the 50EUR there is nothing that they can do. PayPal is and stays risky. That's why they warn you on their website. Aso have a look here: http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=14635.0
never expected the money back, at most the bitcoins if they were still on the offending account. At the very least i would expect a reply saying that something was done about a stolen paypal account :\

Not that the loss of ~50 euro isn't annoying but also for the sake of others I attempted to contact the administration of the site about somebody buying coins with a stolen paypal and i had my money taken back due to it. I contacted them but haven't received any response :\

So you have any idea why its doing this?
Code:
[24/05/2011 02:42:46] Disconnected from server
[24/05/2011 02:43:01] Result: e9866ea1 accepted
[24/05/2011 02:43:02] Warning: work queue empty, miner is id

[24/05/2011 02:43:18] Connected to server
[24/05/2011 02:43:19] Disconnected from server
[24/05/2011 02:43:31] Result: 5ecda2f6 rejected

I haven't heard any other reports of that level of idle/disconnects showing up.  What speed is your miner running at, and where are you located geographically?  A few idles wouldn't surprise me right now as the pool is growing far faster than the current server can handle it, but constant disconnects are a completely different issue.

Feature request:
Would you consider having the "My Workers" view flag the worker field "Last Share" that have gone ~300 seconds (5 min) with a yellow background and ~900 seconds (15 min) with red? In your spare time of course  Wink

This functionality is coming soon, I was waiting to implement it until I had emails & confirmations added, since there is an additional premium service (email alerts) that will be tied into it.
I'm in central USA, 5830 at 1000mhz core getting ~305mh/s with phoenix. Get the same issues with diablo and poclbm, This was working perfectly a few days ago though.

Seems to be going good, just got a block and 166 gH/s, hopefully 200 gH/s by friday.

Bit of bad luck today to make up for all the good luck we've been having.  Hopefully with the new dedicated hosting provider this weekend, we can surpass 250 gH/sec by the end of the month.  The current hardware will probably stop keeping up around that point.

Payout Lock is now an optional feature of the pool, defaulting to off.  If you have not set your preference, you will see an alert on the left side navigation menu until you enable the lock or hide the warning.

This feature is highly recommended for users.  If your account password (or email) were compromised, the person could access your account, change the wallet, and take your balance for themselves.  With this lock, such an attack would require 24 hours to complete, with an email being sent to your confirmed address (if one has been set), and warnings appearing on the sidebar.
So you have any idea why its doing this?

502 Bad Gateway

Yes, just a database restart. Everything is working now.
I get failed to connect when starting the miner, also haven't had a share submitted in over an hour. One of my workers work fine however :s

Are you using a CPU miner?

I've been submitting shares roughly once a minute all day without any hiccups.
No, all GPU miners.

Ok, if you look at it that way, it is 10%.
So how about reducing the fee, say, to 5%?
My share price for PPS is calculated as 45 / current_difficulty - that's why it should be 10%
Sorry, but 5% is impossible. That will be a net loss for me.
why not do 7% then?

Auctioneers voice
"7.5.. do I hear 7.5?
7.25 from the lady in the back....
8.. 8 any takers on 8...."

LOL you goof
Anything i gotta do to get the percentage down :3

by

It sounds like you want to obliterate pool mining all together. Everyone go back to solo mining, problem solved, :p

Even if you keep all the pools under 50% two pools combined would be well over 50% which can do far more damage and faster than 1 pool over 50%.
And it sounds like you're a selfish child who doesn't know how bitcoins work. a single entity needs to be in control of >= 51% of the mining for the double spending attack to even be feasible. 2 entities at 30% won't do shit.

what the hell does it mean?
You've got the pimped out pool thingy w/e userscript

anyways, it's scientific notation. It means 0.00004548
Ah okay, thanks.
