That's pretty messed up given that holding coins is one of the things that the crypto community likes to encourage.
How do you expect to get mainstream acceptance for crypto when coins pull stuff like this? Not only do you have the risk of high volatility, but you also have the risk of your coins just evaporating. That's bullshit.

Given that some of the investors in your coin were in it for the long term, you should leave swap open indefinitely.

FYI, the formatting of this announcement looks good in Opera, but in Firefox the bulleted list is all jumbled.

When will this coin get listed on a (at least) mid-size exchange? (something like cryptopia) It already has a bigger&more active community than many alts out there. Why are exchanges still ignoring this project?  Undecided

If we want it on the exchanges faster one of the community members is needed. The Dev team want this to succeed as a decentralised project and it won't be if they are relied on.

From @BruceFenton
@everyone Volunteers wanted:  Volunteer to serve as liaison to exchanges.  Ravencoin is receiving a LOT of requests and interest from exchanges.  Unfortunately most request that an "official" representative contact them. Since this is decentralized and open source there is no official and there is no one "authorized" to deal with exchanges.

If someone from the community wants to volunteer to serve this role they can.
Should be knowledgeable about tech/ dev and exchanges and able to help exchanges with tech issues, integration etc.

I do know have the knowledge/skill-sets mentioned above. I do have 20 years of IT experience, 10 as a director. So, I can probably help a little bit. If somebody with the proper skill-sets wants to step up to the plate here, I'd be MORE than happy to support them and assist in any way I can.

I would consider it a great learning experience as I plan to start an exchange eventually.

still no payment for me..

I hear your pain and concern. I was stuck, when the missed payments began two days ago, with about 1200RVN in no man’s land.

BUT I’ve been getting pay outs every couple of hours and now I back to where I should be. At least on what was mined before the problem.

I jumped to a new pool, waiting to see how they handled it. Now I am back to mining at 3i. THe 3i Developers have been or are on Discord - you can follow them there.

I wish they would post here to help calm things down.

It isn’t a scam - its just a thin dev team with a problem while everyone is out of the office.

Even though there is some risk, I’m getting better coin from 3i than other pools, so I'm mining there with 27 workers (mostly 1070Tis)

You have to decide if its worth the risk.

I was pretty upset when the nonpayments first happened. But, I've calmed down, partially because they made some back payments and partially because they are communicating on Discord.

Keys:
 - Not a scam. Everyone will get their coins. Everyone.
 - This pool has earned better coin rate than either Suprnova or Revanminer. Lucky a$$ pool for sure.

I've been mining Raven for over a month - this has been one rough coin to mine. The algo is a killer to keep stable, pools all have had issues (RIP RVNPool). Keep the faith, it will pay.

Does anybody have the discord invite link for ThreeEyed?

What are the community supported miners? I'm using sgminer/5.1.1 and ccminer/2.2.5. (They both are working perfectly. ) have they been updated?

I won't download any miner that's not linked on top of the main ANN intro page and it says to use only:

- ocminer/suprminer and brian112358/nevermore-miner and then for AMD aceneun/sgminer-gm-x16r and brian112358/sgminer-x16r.

I'm using suprminer version and I'm very happy with it.

Still I'm having some crashings... Any advice about overclocking?
I'm using a rig of gtx 1080 and I'm getting lots of illegal memory operations or something like that, even without OC.
Could be about intensity? What do you recommend?

I'm using 100% power, plus 76 on core, plus zero on mem, and 100% on fans with my 1080 TIs and they are rock solid.

But, I'm only getting 20 MH/s per card and I feel like I could be getting more based on what I saw somebody else doing with his 1070 TIs (granted he was crashing all the time)

I was expecting a lot of coins per hour for a brand new coin. But last night with 3 x 1080 TI it would have taken days to get one coin.
