If used with high-entropic-generated passwords, Brain wallets can be extremely effective. Otherwise they can be quite dangerous

Interesting turn of events. Unusual that there was no public notice beforehand, however the more prestigious teams with better connections may plan their marketing in this way.

Very interesting technical story.

Luckily that in today's age, most generated keys are derived from a high degree of randomness, instead of easily guessable keywords / phrases

So guys, after 2 years of trading i am going to stop. (unless i have full time to trade, which i currently don't)

I have calculated all my trades on the various platforms i have used in the last couple years.

Deposited: 47BTC (roughly)

Withdrew: 40BTC (roughly)

Overall i am happy with the results, i would pay 7 BTC anyday for what i have learned so far.

Now the question is: what the fuck do i do now with my money.

Lessons well learned. Short term always lose some out to long term holding, across many asset classes. Especially new ones poised for growth such as this

That is asking quite a lot, 5% every day is a high bar to achieve on  a daily basis compounding.

Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years?
by

on 02/10/2017, 14:30:50 UTC
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

We are definitely long on Bitcoin and many cryptos, and we feel that mass adoption across countries at the government level will be a next major milestone and market demand push for the technology.

We all know the advantages of BTC, but what are some of the disadvantages??

Theft, if you are unsafe about your private keys, the coins are binary and you either have them or you don't,

no central bank support or fraud department that can refund you.

In a breaking news from yesterday: Japan has given official endorsement to 11 crypto currency exchanges.

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-japan-bitcoin/japans-fsa-gives-official-endorsement-to-11-cryptocurrency-exchanges-idUSKCN1C40T9

What do you think will be the impact on the market and value?

Very good news for Japan, Asia, ASEAN, and the rest of the world.

We evolve one step at a time. Unstoppable.

Re: If Bitcoin goes past $5000, what will the Chinese government do?
by
dacsee
on 02/10/2017, 04:23:38 UTC
Is this OP original post to be taken in a serious manner?

The Chinese government is an expert at price and currency manipulation, and they use it for profit over and over.

This has no long-term or seriously threatening effects on Bitcoin however, or any new technologies.
