: Do we really need altcoins? Or Bitcoin, Ethereum and Monero are enough for crypto comunity this days?

You just can't rely on bitcoin alone. You need some alternative for bitcoin because you don't know what will happen in the future. So you need to atleast invest on three top recommended altcoins.

MEW is the most used wallet. My ether wallet is what's often used cause it's the most reliable and most safe. more control over your own wallet and private keys. When using MyEtherWallet, you don’t use typical login information such as a site account or a password, and you don’t store information on the site.

I cant reach etherscan.io
anyone can reach?

and is that why i cant see my tokens on myetherwallet?
Same here etherscan.io were having a problem a few weeks ago, but its already resolved and now working well.

There's another way of viewing your tokens on myetherwallet other than etherscan.io I suggets you to check your Tokens at ethplorer.io from this site you can check you myetherwallet. It has an advantage on viewing your wallet info in this site because more of your tokens has attachment price.

Re: bounty campaigns: take care to your ETH private key
by
dadandandadan
on 12/01/2018, 15:56:17 UTC
hi

i checked about 20 spreadsheets of bounty campaigns. and in these lists i found about 15 private keys to ETH addresses.
people post their key instead of their address.

all the addresses had nothing in it. maybe somebody else already emptied them.

I do notice it to, there are lots of misunderstanding of sending information on participating campaigns some participants sends their private key instead of their address and this can lead to another victim of Hackers.
On my experience on participating i notice one of participants who accidentally put his/her private key on the address information, you can tell it even by just looking. As you notice in myetherwallet all address are started at 0 digit and x character, first of seing his address with an starting string of 45c76***********************************************************(if im not mistaken) I already noticed that its not an address rather a private key.
To check whether my conclusion is true I accessed his/her wallet and It surely are the private key so I check the balance but unfortunately its been already emptied I already saw the past transaction 14 hrs ago 5 different token had been transfered into different account.

So everyone should be inform and warn by these, better review all the information that you are about to send on others.

Re: Etherdelta not working for me - help
by

on 12/01/2018, 15:30:09 UTC
Hi,
I imported an ether wallet with some tokens it it in etherdelta, but every time I try to deposit tokens to exchange I get this message:

"You tried to send an Ethereum transaction but there was an error. Make sure you have enough ETH in your "Wallet" column to pay for the gas fee. If you already have a pending transaction (enter your address on Etherscan to find out), please wait for it to confirm, or increase your "gas price" (in the upper right dropdown) and try again."

I have 0.014 ether on the address and setted 9 as gas price...what am I doing wrong?
I think your problem is that your gas fee is too low. It says in myetherwallet that you must set your gas fee on a minimum amount of 21000 gwei or else you can't complete any transaction. I think 21000 gwei is equal to 0.0005 Eth or approximately 5$ its is use to cover up your transaction or we can simple called it a transaction fee or transfer fee.

Hi! EXRN token can be traded at Ethdelta and Ethplorer and I suggest you to trade it at Ethplorer because it has a higher value there than EthDelta, I knew it because one of my friend got also the same token you have from airdrop and know try to sell it in a good price. Wish you luck.

As I am newbie here can I join any bounty? And if yes then what I get from it?.
You can join on any bounty even if you are at newbie rank, but finding such campaign who accepts newbie to participate is not that easy its because most of Bounty campaigns do required participants at level Jr. Member and up to avoid spam messages and other difficulties that may encounter during their pre ICO.
Joining signature campaigns will gives you tokens as payment for your job well done and these tokens can be sell on your desired amount.

There is a lot of bounty available here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
I think you can start by trying to participate with newsletter campaign or social media campaigns.
I found one of a rare Signature campaign where newbies can participate with, just check this link

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2349361.msg23936895#msg23936895

I hope they are still accepting participants right now, because as I remember they start recruiting participants early this November hope it helps.

Which is the best and most trusted? Cloud mining or signature campaigns?
I prefer on signature campaign, I find it easy and helpful.
I may say its easy because all you need to is to a certain task such posting in this forum and wear there signatures and avatars(if applicable).
By these methods its helps me to learn and explore the world of Cryptocurrencies. It also helps user to improve there answering capabilities for a certain topic on this forum and be promoted at certain ranks by the use of their hardwork.

Re: Do they are lot of bounties scam ?

Hello, can you tell me if they are a lot of bounties scam ?
Not all Bounty Campaigns are scam because there are more of it that were are legit, but still there are some Bounty campaigns that are scam where after their presale or after their ICOs end they don't pay any tokens/ coins to the participants as they promise after completing a certain tasks. Its really a bad to be a victim of such campaign because you can't do anything about it all you can do is to warn everyone about it. To avoid these kind of disaster and a waste of time made your own criteria on joining bounty campaigns
first is that have a research about this campaign read all the reviews and all necessary information regarding this campaign.
Check out their ICOs check all the background of it such as reputations, ratings, recent projects and status of it.

Re: ERC 20 Tokens Wallet?
by
dadandandadan
on 20/12/2017, 13:05:29 UTC
Which wallet is good to store ERC 20 tokens for long time?

Desktop or Android based?
I gladly recommend myetherwallet or MEW
It is because as my Experience here in Cryptoworld i find MEW a great wallet for ETH and Tokens
My Etherewallet is
easy to use - all you need is your private key and by this you have a full control of your wallet and can use accordingly to your will.
Decentralize - no ones own it thats why its makes your wealth secure from anyone.
ERC20 compatible - most of ERC20 tokens are now listed and can be stored at any amount at myetherwallet
Mostly recommended - most of users world wide are using this wallet.
free wallet - creating such wallet has no payment required.
note: There are lots of pishing site who are trying to mimic MEW so better go to the right site of it and protect your private key from anyone, don't give it to anyone remember that all you need is your private key to have fully control of your wallet so keep it safe.

Re: Ethereum transaction pending for an hour
by
dadandandadan
on 20/12/2017, 12:51:06 UTC
if you want fast transaction
you must incraese GAS and gwei, minimum over 100k is gas, and gwei minimum 20
yes i do experience it to and also the only way to make such transaction is to raise your gas fee by this way your transaction will be more prioritize than anyone. There is a overloading of transaction at MEW and because of it lots of lots transaction are been stopped and are currently pending. So i may say when these happens avoid making any transaction till it returns to its normal and fast state to avoid additional charges.

Recently, by mistake, the private key of my name delta is a friend, and I would like to know how I change, thanks for the attention.
Its already been said on MEW that you should keep you private key on yourself and you and only are the responsible for your own security.
For the question your asking that If there is a chance to change your private key?
the answer is Its impossible to change your private.
Why would you change if you can create another wallet, just create a new one its the easiest solution for your problem.

Re: my fund disappeared from myEtherwallet in 4 minutes
by
dadandandadan
on 20/12/2017, 07:14:56 UTC
Hello everybody,
I wonder if anyone has ever met a case like me:

Last night (14/12/2017) I transfered 10 Ether from the Exchange to my etherwallet . The ether would be locked on the exchange for a while before the transaction  was executed so I turned off the computer an went to bed.
This morning (15/12) I woke up and found my wallet still at zero while the ether on the Exchange has disappeared.
Thus I checked the https://etherscan.io  , I found that my transaction had been sucessful, 10 ETH was moved to my address smoothly.
But right after 4 minutes another transaction was sucessfully executed , which moved all my ether from my address to another one 0xb4c167ce26a3adfba6abd08d714403f436c75e54   ( I completely don't know this address) , and of course my wallet is zero forever now.

Everything happened in my sleep.

The problem is I don't know what really happened here.
I created a new wallet before I executed the transaction, and I did the transaction at home, very careful with the warning from the service and prudent with my password or my key---> I don't think my computer got hacked or my password stolen since I created a brandnew one and never clicked on any links either.

Then how the heck my Ether got moved from my wallet right after it moved in?
Is there a chance toget my Ether back ?? ><

I sent a message to myetherwallet support but I doubt if I ever get the answer.
It's sad to say that you can't do anything about it even mew can't help you.
Most of people would say that the reason where your MEW got hacked is that you've log in into one of pishing site or myetherwallet wannabe. But you said that its a brand new account and you carefully log in to the right site so the only reason I think is that your PC got been hacked scammers already installed some key lagers on your PC ahead of time and by there you are already been victim. And if its not the case then someone you know and someone on your house is the culprit, so better ask them carefully about your ETHER disappearance.
