@nebutech
Your miner works on C29 for a few minutes then forces my rig to switch to Cuckarood29 although the fork hasn't yet happened!!
:-(

Did you use config file to start?

Try add

"grin29-fork-height": 262080,

to the json file.

Or start with cmdline options.

Had this same issue on HiveOS. Added this to the Extra config arguments - "grin29-fork-height": 262080
Its working fine now,

Thanks

Just want to say thank you for adding SWAP support. Miner runs better than the alternatives thats for sure.
Still have a bit of a delta between console and poolside hashrate. Not as large as other miners though

Console output 49.x poolside hashrate around 45-47 - Testing since release
This is ALOT better than my Gminer tests which gave me around 40-42 poolside with similar console output

Testing on a single 2080Ti on windows with SWAP. Console reporting 10.5 gps, Heroic miners pool reporting 7 gps :\
Test has been running for around an hour - gonna leave it a while longer and will report back

Any chance you can add support for SWAP (cuckaroo29s)
Only real option is gminer at this point and would prefer not to use them for multiple reasons

Yeah there's def a variance here. Ref V56s flashed to V64 bios and true Vega 64s all seem to be straightforward to get hashing > 19 kh/s. I have a few things to test, but I need to get a few Vega 56s going that aren't flashed with the V64 bios.

Are you on win10 or linux? And, I assume you've tried configs like L24+24 and 28+28?

Yea i tried them, best for me seems to be L28+26
on Linux

the pool is not the only thing factoring into your yield being less. Difficulty is constantly increasing, we are all earning less coins by the day if your own hash rate stays the same

That said, i like Luxor-tech. They seem to have the most stable pool in terms of shares accepted for me
They also run PPS at 0% pool fee

Sry for the silence here,

had some rough days (flu & fever) ...
Hope to have alpha 5 for you next 2-3 days including support for NiceHash and some improvements for the scheduling (for some users alpha 2 was quicker then alpha 4 - thats going to be fixed)

Hope to be back with good news soon

We close to this release?

are you guys considering making any 150_5 improvements?
I see lots of work for cuckoo29 but not much work into pushing the boundaries for 150_5?

thanks in advance
We will release version with performance improvements for Beam within few days, our current result about +5% compared with latest public version, also we are working on 3GB version as well

Any chance for some performance optimizations for older cards such as the 980Ti? Right now getting around 10 sols/s, should potentially be around the 1070 in terms of performance

using Bminer on my nvidia Rig with 1060s and and 1080Tis mining Grin on Grinmint
Console shows 20.45 Sols/s - pool states 2 Sols/s. Quite a the delta there

Changed to grinminer - getting 17 Sols/s on both console aswell as pool

Just an FYI : Tested on my 980Tis, maximum im able to achieve with this card is 7-8 Sols/s. I know its an old card and inefficient but for the moment its on free power
Im more used to this card being equal to a 1070 in most cases and algos hashrate wise, right now my 1060s are quite some distance faster Smiley. Just letting you know as a hail mary, would like to get it running on this rig but not the end of the world if its not possible

Thanks for the great work sofar!

@trm devs

Hey, not sure if this is where you would like questions like this to be posed as it not CN related
Anyway, It sounded like your initial plans was to bring to agility to AMD cards where the Nvidia cards normally dominated

Just would like to know if you plan on bringing new algos to the party. Especially for example at the moment BEAM coin seem to be doing really good and the performance of the initial miners for AMD seems to be quite good. The Vegas were running around the same speed as the 1080Tis at the start. However, the guys that normally do dev for nvidia cards have picked up algo and have brought some big improvements with promises of more

Knowing your team has insane ability of producing serious hashrates with the AMD cards
Just want to know if you are at all considering bringing out your miners for BEAM (Equihash 150_5) and GRIN

EDIT: not too sure what algo GRIN is using
