Re: how to start bounty campaing ?
by
dalesotpi
on 11/05/2018, 08:30:18 UTC
Basically all the answers to your question are in this thread, you only need to synthesize all of it for your own perusal.
but for starters, you need to read whitepapers get acquainted with the project of your interest. Then apply to the bounty manager, wear their signature and all. Then your good to go.
And before i forget, read carefully the rules and follow it.

I absolutely do not understand why to post news here. Much more convenient to receive them through Web browser notifications from sites
He should just want to share the beneficial news, which is a positive thing. The two days began to fall again.

I agree, news can be posted here to boost morale, as that same FUDs can even be posted here that may be responsible for price drops and panic selling.
Maybe some of you guys would consider advocating for not posting FUDs, right?
Well, it was just my opinion though  Grin

Re: There are too many ICOs
by

on 11/05/2018, 07:57:27 UTC
There so many ICOs coming out everyday. The market can't support thousands of ICOS. This has to  stop.

I'm sorry, why does it has to stop? due to the number? Aren't number is what we need to promote this market? Number shows the strength of support, aren't you well informed of that?
If the problem is your having a lot of trouble looking for legit reliable ICO, then that is your problem. Just like this one has problems
I agree, especially too much scam from Asia. It's hard to find valuable projects today! We should pay attention to dev team, white paper and road map.

It is our duty and responsibility to protect our own form scam, but we should not hinder others from building their own company just because were having difficulty locating one. They must not be denied of equal opportunity to make their company.

I say let any number of ICOs come, what's important is, we don't tire from isolating the potentially reliable and successful ones

There are a lot of scammers even in telegram that setup fake accounts copying the identities of admin of telegram channels in which  participated. All are trying to get me to send ETH or BTC as part of KYC.
Anything or any one that asks for such is nothing but scum of a scam.

Re: Bitcoin breaking $20,000 again?
by
dalesotpi
on 11/05/2018, 06:47:09 UTC
Of course, the growth will repeat, but much earlier than December, I think it will happen in September, and by December bitcoin will cost about 50 thousand dollars, my forecasts are based on market dynamics for the period 2016-2018 and indicators of economic involvement in the blockchain over the past year.

I will not deny that I am hoping for the same event to happen. If so it happens, then we might see more price increase by December, hopefully.
And of course models that are based on price dynamics in the past can be a reliable source for say 90-95% of the time, but we can't always be sure of it as we have that gray area of 5-10% though.

Re: Is bounty hunters one of the cause of price dip of ICO?
by
dalesotpi
on 11/05/2018, 04:17:37 UTC
Why blame bounty hunters generally? there are a lot of stakeholders in this market or in every project, and all of them are potentially able to cause the dip.
Also as been stated by Numanoid, bounty allocations distributed to hunter are not that representative of the most part of it.
bounty amount aren't too big (mostly it's 1,2, or 4 % from total supply).
Early investors, who bought token at private and pre-sale with big bonus causing that. They dumped all of their token including the bonus on market

So I believe all are liable and potentially suspect. Not just bounty hunters.

Re: Still believe in ICO ?

Yes I’m one of thise believers of ICOs, I’ve been promoting a few lot of them even now as I believe they can contribute a great deal to the community with their products and crypto world in general.
But I think it is way too sweeping to say “I believe in ICO always” as ther are a lot of good for nothing projects out there.

Re: How important is a community behind a crypto project?
by
dalesotpi
on 10/05/2018, 15:10:55 UTC
Behind all successful projects, there is a strong community as a support. In the early stage of the project, the community can help the promotion and promotion of the project. It is helpful to shape the brand of the project. In the development of the project, the strong community can also help the team work. There are a lot of problems in the community through voting to reach consensus.

I agree. Projects are less likely, or will never be successful without the community support.
This is like a rule of thumb in all engagements, business or managemnet, its all the same, success boils down to community. Promotion of the project, and even using their products, are all due to community support.
Hence it is kmportant to cultivate a healthy and strong community.

Re: do you still beleive in icos ?
by
dalesotpi
on 10/05/2018, 14:27:45 UTC
there are so many icos in the market most of them are scam do you still belive in ico ?

Yes I do but not all of them. It really depends on the technology that they can offer. If it can be applied and usable in the real world then I'd go for it. I know that there are lots of scam ICOs today but we need also to consider things or factors to avoid those projects. We need to read the whitepaper and know the devs or people behind it. We also need to check the number of people who are supporting the project whether in discord or in telegram. There are laws now regulating those devs starting ICOs to prevent people from being scammed so better check for legalities.

If laws are existing for legalities proving legitimacy of ICOs, I think this is only implemented in a few select countries where crypto us backed by law. And I don’t about its impact to the global community that wishes to participate in bounty campaigns of these alleged legal ICOs.
As there is no law that can be implemented globally, not even in UN.

Re: Bounty is like a Box Chocolate
by
dalesotpi
on 09/05/2018, 05:17:13 UTC
I can say that the bounty is not like Box Chocolate, it is like the lottery or job with lottery payments. It becomes harder and harder every day.

Yes it is not a box of chocolate. It is also not true with regards to having value or none at all. However, this is only applicable for those that participated blind, didn't do their own research.
If you did ample research, then for sure you'll know what you're getting into.

Well, what can I say, you hit the soft part right there.
Had you done your research in full, you'll sure to know what kind of chocolate you'll get.
It all boils down to that one aspect of doing validation to gain benefits.

Re: Token bounty must hold or sell?
by

on 09/05/2018, 02:53:09 UTC
Yesterday I`ve sold my very first tokens Smiley CyberMiles bounty, for $120. This sounds like success for me, that I could earn and sell them.

Good for you brother. See, someone who holds bounty tokens/coins long term, will surely gain the benefits after some time given that the altcoin has good products and well executed management plan.
So everyone should really hold their bounty tokens and become part of those that actually promote it thru holding.

Re: HONEST bounty hunters should be treated with respect
by
dalesotpi
on 02/05/2018, 04:55:58 UTC
I have seen situations where bounty hunters are side-tracked after providing their services towards the success of ICO projects. It is either they are paid less as against initial agreement, or they are not paid at all. I would have mentioned the names of some of those projects, which succeeded, are already listed and yet did not pay bounty hunters. Some things really need to change. We are to be treated with respect, most especially the honest bounty hunters.
There are many reasons given by project developers to answer this question. Because they do not want to pay early for bounty hunters for worrying the bounty hunter will sell it all right after the receipt will negatively affect them. The number of exponents lacks because they say bounty hunters have not done a good job of their own, but I think they are trying to keep the tokens for themselves for the MONEY.

Yes that is one way to do it to prevent participants from selling the tokens so can have the highest potential.
But I believe there are ways to handle this better, like locking yhe coins for around a year or 6 mos.
After that they can do whatever they like.
But this should be stated clearly in ann thread or telegram channel or wherever works for them.
This is in a way show of respect

Re: Any advice for a newbie?
by

I think that investing in the mainstream currency will be a very good choice. The prices of Bitcoin and Ethereum are very low, and they are slowly rising. I think this is a good time for investment.

Yes I agree, for those that don’t have much experince and knowledge it is better to invest in mainstream top of the market coins like bitcoin and etherium. It is much safer this way while learning the nooks and crannies of the game.
It is always better to chose the lowest risk of them all. Also do a lot of reading and research.

I for one have learned from those mistakes, and am a little clever now than I was before

Re: Shall I buy ETH?
by

Is buying ETH currently a good idea, or should I be going with Bitcoin?
with the purchase of Ethereum pretty good because Ethereum has a pretty good development and has potential in the future. with profitable Ethereum purchases.

It is also not a bad idea to buy both coins. Both coins have proven themselves in the market with a lot of competitors and over time. I think both are profitable in long term hold. I suggest if you have extra resources, you can buy both coins, if not, pick any of the two coins.

Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH
by
dalesotpi
on 02/05/2018, 01:41:59 UTC
Many of ICOs allocate some of the tokens to participants in bounty campaigns. Don't you think it is better to give bounty participnats reward in ETH?
1-2% of the money raised is not so much and bounty participants deserve that. Also, it can cause more investors to attract. Because they are no longer worry about the price fall after bounties are paid.

There are a lot of bounty hunters who are struggling on selling their tokens because it was dumping after the end of campaign since everyone is selling their coin immediately, well i hope that in the future they will be paying their participants an ethereum immediately.

I'm confused, will paying them bounty hunters in ETH don't have any impact in the ICO project or the coin afterwards?
Cause sending them the tokens will in a way promote the project and the coin.
Anyway, it is then becoming of a trend when some hunters receive their tokens they dump it afterwards. They should learn to hold it and see more profits after a while.

Yes I have the same question, will not have negative implications in the coin the bounty hunters are promoting. I mean using it is one step of promoting it, rather than paying them with other alts thus promoting that alt. Or am I wrong to raise this?
Anyway, it is a good thing to be paid in ETH but what's the consequence?

People lose patience easily and rant in any social media platform saying they lose money. They fail to understand that they are investing in a volatile platform and fluctuation in prices is but a daily occurence in this market.
I suggest to preserve patience, they should not look at prices every now and then. Unless they want to sell some

Re: KYC to receive bounty rewards.
by
dalesotpi
on 01/05/2018, 23:14:41 UTC
I don't like KYC in bounty. But I have to admit that the good bounty always require KYC. It's sad. KYC makes the purpose of cryptocurrency become meaningless (no anonymous). We requires the security in Blockchain, cryptocurrencies, but we easily "give" KYC to ICO. ICO should find a way to avoid cheater, whale. KYC is not good way.
How do I know they do not use my information on something else?

I don’t agree that all ICOs that require KYC is automatically a good project or bounty. There is just no relationship to them. And doing KYC to bounty hunters defeats the purpose of being a decentralized platform.
Should ICOs require kyc to give out bounties, they should make it clear in the rules

It always is a sound and logical plan to hold your bounty rewards. It will also show your support to the community that makes up the project and coin.
Besides, one can earn a lot when holding coins with great potential.

Re: You can go wrong!
by
dalesotpi
on 01/05/2018, 10:25:30 UTC
If we learn from our mistakes, what words of caution would you like to share.

The only words that I'm going to share for those are saying they didn't earn much money through Signature Bounty Campaigns is:
- don't sell your bounty stake tokens when it hit the Crypto Markets right away because giving them the chance to pump will offer us a lot of opportunities.
- don't quit your job (if you have one) because I choose to hold my Crypto Assets because my salary is sufficient on supporting my family's daily basic needs.
- don't rush on day trading if you don't have good experiences and higher capital so that you'll never lose your Crypto Assets.
- Crypto Market is volatile, be sure you enjoy your Crypto Earnings though your hard work. Use it as your reward to self at least 5%-10% of it.

I would lik to reiterate this post as I myself follow the same learnings myself.
It is always great to reward yourself a few percentage of your earnings at a time. Enjoy the fuits of your labor.
And never ever quit your job.
I knew of some who did, personal friends and even cousins, I just pray and wish them all the best
