you only send me 10k where are the other 10k as you mentioned "We are currently giving 20k XRP to anyone who claims"

Hello Bitcoin Forum,

We are the company behind the new Ripple open payment system. We are pleased to announce the first official XRP giveaway. To thank the Bitcoin community for their support and to encourage people to experiment with Ripple and provide feedback, we are targeting this giveaway to users of the Bitcoin Forum.

Anyone whose Bitcoin Forum account was created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, is eligible to receive XRP.

You may claim your XRP simply by posting your Ripple address in this thread. Please note that your replies will be processed by a script, so make sure that your post contains only your Ripple address.

We are currently giving 20k XRP to anyone who claims. This amount will decrease over the course of the giveaway. We are giving to a limited number of people a day so it might be awhile after your post before you receive your XRP.

By requesting XRP, you acknowledge and agree that the transfer thereof is entirely automatic and does not constitute a contract, warranty, or agreement of any kind between you and OpenCoin Inc. Please remember Ripple is still in early beta so expect bugs.

Enjoy!
OpenCoin Inc.

Post formatting

Create a ripple account here https://ripple.com/client A Ripple address looks similar to a bitcoin address but begins with an "r".  For example, our Ripple address is:

r3kmLJN5D28dHuH8vZNUZpMC43pEHpaocV

Your post should not contain any text besides the address and should have no special formatting. Posts which don't match this format will be skipped, and you'll have to post your address again to get XRP.

Rules

Your Bitcoin Forum account must have been created before February 19, 2013, 18:45 UTC, in order to be eligible. Only one Ripple address per user, please. (All but the first valid address you post will be ignored).

We will periodically post updates to the post below to indicate when XRP have been given. We will be limiting the amount of people we give to per day, and this amount may be adjusted, so please be patient as it may take some time for the script to get to your post.

If you have any questions or concerns about this giveaway, or about Ripple in general, please don't hesitate to ask us either on this forum or ours.

whats better PPS or Proportional ?
my rig is 1.4Gh
Actually there is not so much difference, and it doesn't depends on your speed.
If you are going to mine for weeks or months, then you'll get more with Proportional because of lower fee.
If you are planning short-term then PPS may be better.

Thanx   Cool

As you may know, our pool is offering PPS mode too, so we are very careful about possible bugs that may cause longer rounds because we are paying our own funds to our clients during bad luck periods.

You removed the option on the site for payment types eg. pps  or is it in a sneaky place where i cant see it :p

thx

F4-6D-04-2C-5E-02
This is a MAC address, it's not related to the filtration process.
When did your connection problems started ?

yes it is my Mac ID (F4-6D-04-2C-5E-02) and all my laptops and pcs are connected on the same router/ Ip there fore if my miner cant mine nor i can open the site on my rig then i guess its mac ID banned or something has to be.

ohhh wait i found the problem for why it didn't connect,

NOTE: If you running miners on your rigs don't install "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware"  it blocks the site after few days, who knows why! BUT that fixed my problem Smiley Unchecked site blocking

sorry for blaming it on your guyz ;P

That's funny I've used "Malwarebytes" for years and don't have that problem
Maybe you should learn how to use Malwarebytes
All you need to do is put your miner in the "ignore list"

Yes Sir!!! i never had a problem with MalwareB blocking my miners or the site for about two years, out of no where it started blocking who knows why!!!

now i got a question,  lets say some guy has over 5000bitcoin in his wallet and gets lost. so this xxx amount of coins will never go back to the bitcoin system?, is there going to be an idl time for coins?

just wondering!  Huh

Lost coin is lost coin. People have lost more than 5000 btc in a corrupted wallet. Backups are your friend.

But isn't there a limited coins at the end?!!  there should be a xx time of idl for coins in wallets or inactive wallets Sad this will suck if people keep loosing coin, it will crash the system at one point!   Undecided
