I thought I saw the word AIRDROP earlier, just a few minutes ago, when I tried to respond and now saw that it the word AIRDROP has just been removed from the announcement title. Hopefully you will consider having an airdrop for bounty hunters and also for those who will buy some tokens from the exchanges in the future.

We absolutely have an token bounty program which can be found here : https://medium.com/@Ethino_Casino/ethino-bounty-launch-222837118f6

Nice bounty campaign, looks like you have all the bases covered.

Will the value of your tokens grow?

With development of the platform and more users on it the token value will grow

- Opporty Team

Oh yeah that makes sense, I wasn't sure with there being a flat amount of tokens. Also, can you please explain your bonus program?

The law in the Netherlands is quite clear upon data-storage on who is the rightfull owner, as long as the company is registered in the Netherlands, it will be a hard and harsh fight for the US and other country's to lay down a claim upon data, especially when it is not again the local law of the Netherlands.

I'm aware that not everything is as "ok" as we sometimes believe, but keeping stuff liquid on RAM-drives means u'll have multiple servers hosted across the globe and perhaps an server nearby your location to collect a backup in case of.. well you know

The moment we ever move from that safe spot, the US would grab us. The US might play dirty tricks, accuse of us other things ... whatever they can. The best approach is a layered one. There are benefits to customers too: No subpoenas or warrants possible.

RAM drives mean we have an constantly-streaming encrypted backup system, yes. And it does mean if something fails, we end up needing to manually enter the key to restore. I believe this tradeoff is worth protecting everyone's data.

Nobody can every say you guys haven't gone the extra mile for security, that's for sure.

I saw you had patents pending, how long does that usually take?

I'm just curious if there's any chance that by the time they process the patent, they could see that it conflicts with a previous patent?

I almost covered and discussed "priority dates" in the video, but we decided to keep it simpler and shorter. That video has not been released yet, but since it doesn't cover that point; I'll answer here.

So, the way it works is that filing a "patent pending" gives you a "priority date" on the day it is filed. There are no prior patents that would override our patent, but there is a chance that another "patent pending", filed prior to ours, would conflict and have an earlier priority date. There is no way to know, until one is published, but we feel that it is unlikely. Most of the patents being filed are in regards to settling securities using a custodial account (depository for internal settlements) or are related to blockchain innovations.

I doubt that others were focused on the methods in our patents, because "atomic swaps" did not exist, meaning the value was limited (e.g. required 3rd-parties that charge a fee). However, I had the foresight to know that it would be possible one day (and bitcoin to ethereum atomic swapping is already possible now, much sooner than I anticipated). As a result, we will be able to use these virtually free methods and avoid using even Shapeshift (fee-based).

That's really cool you had the foresight to see where the technology was going.

Can you disclose who you've chosen for your legal counsel?

I can't (yet), until they release a public statement about Upfiring (likely an analysis of whether or not it is considered a security - of course we strongly believe that it is not, and do not intend for UFR to be used as such)

If it were classified a security it would be subject to much more regulation?

Is this right?

Still curious about this, what would happen if it were considered a security?

I've heard some ICOs are having problems with being classified as securities. Is your legal team working to avoid this?

Any insights on this?

Any risks of AcademyCoin being labeled a security?

That's interesting you have an escort on staff. What's an example of a policy directly influenced by having someone with her experience there that you wouldn't have otherwise thought of?

One thing was health checks. As an outsider, it seems like a good idea. It sounds straightforward. Health checks actually received a very negative response from sex workers. If we advertise that everyone is certified healthy, then clients are more likely to pressure providers into doing unsafe acts.

I never would have guessed about the health checks having negative consequences. Great call on bringing someone with experience in.

Are the advisors being paid with your tokens?

Yes, but some advisors (not all are listed) are also being compensated with CASH as well, as they are more involved in the day-to-day decision making process than most ICO advisors. So, those who perform a specific function are compensated for their time immediately and also have a vested interest in the success of the project by dropping their normal rates in exchange for tokens.

What's the reasoning with not listing some advisors?

Hi Dan. Good question. I sort of eluded to this in an earlier reply, but here's a more detailed overview...

We hired several advisors who were very qualified freelancers. The goal is to get to know them and see if they are fit to become a full part of the team or not. While some advisors have given great feedback, we do not want to clutter our site/info with a lot of advisors that may not be brought on long-term. Unlike most ICOs, we want our advisors to be truly engaged and bring strength to achieve success for the project.

Some early advisors were not brought on long-term, despite giving good feedback, because they were simply unreliable or difficult to coordinate with for meetings, feedback, and decisions. Ultimately, we only highlight those we feel contribute to the overall goals of this project and who dedicate the time to truly help it succeed.

Totally makes sense. No reason to completely align your product with everyone you get advice from.

Good question  Wink or goal is to support the featured creators on the website and whitepaper and announce a few larger names in December

Stay up to date on our subreddit for new creators accepting ACAD Grin

Our largest creators right now are between 500k followers to 800k followers. We're more focused in the mirco-creators with very engaged students and fans instead of the "celebrity level creators.
Great question!
We have some large creators on YouTube and Udemy. They will be announcing they accept ACAD when we list on the exchange  Wink
Who would you say is your biggest partnership to date?
Could you give a ballpark on how big they are? Like subscribers? 500k? 1m?
That's actually considerably higher than I anticipated. Do we really have to wait until ACAD is on the exchange until we get a few name drops??  Grin

What's the official subreddit? /r/AcademyCoin ?

Is there anyone you have your eyes on for the CEO position?

Not something we'd talk about until we figure out their exact exposure. Some people are more confident being publicly associated with our project than others.

I feel like this industry gets such a bad rap, and for no other reason than religion. Thankfully, the US seems to be moving away from it's roots.
