If you believe you sync that device with one of your cloud storage, there's a possibility you can retrieve it. PC recovery tools I think it only work on removable storage.

I didn't.

I will try the EaseUS trial now, thanks Smiley

Is there any software out there that can find a wallet.dat file on a android phone? I wiped it and forgot about the wallet there. There might be alot of money on this wallet, and if it gets opened with your help I will pay for the service.

I hope someone can help me.

Kind regards
Dan

If you have a back up for the android phone you could try to flash that backup on to another phone. It will basically be like your old phone at the old state in a newer phone. Otherwise you're going to have to look for a wallet data backup somewhere. If you can't find either of those, maybe try to find your private key or something because besides those two options, I doubt you'll be able to get your money back.

That doesn't work that way.If you try to flash an incompatible firmware on a different phone, that would either leave you to a paperweight or a bootlooped device. In order to flash a backup of the phone to a new device, it needs to be of the same model otherwise no data could be salvaged.

The only thing I can think of is to connect your phone to a clean PC and install some recovery tools especially made for phones. If it's saved on an external SD card then you're lucky since there are plenty of backup tools for that. If it's in the phone's memory, the best free software you can use is EaseUS Recovery, though I doubt that you can salvage more than pictures since you need to pay for subscription in order to recover all types of files on a formatted phone.

So what youre saying is if I get the full version I can recover all file types? I could not find android recovery software that could do that. I have no backup. I was stupid and lend my old phone out and it got wiped.

Hello. I introduced my friend to mining and so far he has found 2 blocks, but had no payout of it yet. Is this normal?

Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0018

Hey all. I decided to give nvOC a go, but I'm kinda new to Linux so have a few questions.

I have to make a ext4 and swap partitions and set "/" to path for ext4

What sizes should the drives be?

After that I use Raw Harddisk Copy to copy the nvOC img to the ext4 partition.

Is that it? Do I have to make bootmanager or what it's called?

Thank you in advance

Hey all. I've had the idea of mining on Linux for some time, and read that Linux Mint should be fairly easy.

Anyone have time and want to help me out setting it up? I really have no experience with Linux, but I have flair for computers in general.

I hope someone will help me out, and all help is greatly appreciated!

Sincerely
Dan

Groestl seems to be nice for me. I tried equihash but my computer lags so much with that. Also tried Tribus, seemed to have decent speed and profit. Not sure if Groestl or Tribus is best for me. I'm using my computer at the same time so I need a algo that doesnt make my computer lag too much. CCMiner seems to be the best option for me. I'm using ver 2.2. Seems to be 10% more efficient on Tribus than 2.1

Thanks in advance!

What do you recommend ?
And do you know the H/s of the 7970ghz/280x on zCash ?

1) Go to whattomine.com.

2a) 7970/280x 24-30 MH/S on dagger-hashimoto (ethash) algo, just don't mine eth/etc with it. It also dual mines pretty well, just don't mine eth/etc with it.

2b) 7970/280x 300+ on equihash algo.

3) Do your math.

4) Do not mine eth/etc with it.

What should I mine with my setup?

edit, heard this:

RPCMiner-Cuda?

I know this card can yield about 140MH/s, but maybe new tools can do 160?
I just have one spare @ work and unused, but it can't be exchanged for something like 6970 Sad

Since you cant do what the above poster proposed....Use Cgminer. I am using it on  2 580's ,2 6870, 7870 & a 7970 Works a charm.

With CGminer i get....160 and a 180 Mhash on the 580's (one is the monitor so only Intensity 6) other is Intensity 15...

Not sure what to mine thou with that?

I'm a smalltime miner, mining bitcoin with cgminer. Will this be the best place to solo mine for bitcoin? I want profit from what I mine, not try to hit the lotto. Please let me know if I'm in the wrong place. Would be greatly appreciated if I'm being pointed in the right direction Smiley
