Re: 2 TerraMiner IV's for February delivery worth it?
by
danhu
on 18/11/2013, 00:51:36 UTC
http://www.vnbitcoin.org/bitcoincalculator.php

for Feb - 5 delivery
it will take 111 days to get your money back .

Notice that by the time you check how many days it will take to ROI you will see a different data because this calculator stays current with bitcoin exchange rate and bitcoin network hash rate .  It updates new data every minute.

*when you will get your miner is the biggest unknown *  remember to change the delivery date (up to 90 days ) to late or early so you can understand more about your risk . You also have risk with bitcoin network difficulty and this calculator based future prediction on past developments ( average of last 15 difficulty increments ) and you can also input your own data  .  You also have exchange rate risk and this calculator is using the current exchange rate but remember to change it up and down to see your risk .

Below is a link to feb-5 delivery detail calculations.

http://www.vnbitcoin.org/detailcalculation.php?name=CoinTerra-TerraMiner_IV_2TH(february-batch)&startdate=2014-02-05&costperunit=5999&wattperhour=1200&gigahazarate=2000&daytoincrease=11&testlopfirst=8&diffincrement=27.99&bitcoinperdollar=512.15&electriccostinput=.15&begindifflevel=3429206529.6666

* Don't trust any calculator if it is not update data every minute . A true calculator don't just give you a yes or no answer .  It should help you understand risk ! *

Re: NEW: Bitcoin Mining Calculator with Difficulty Change Adjusted Calculations

LOL - I put in some numbers and every single miner currently available for sale and pre-order will never make ROI even with free electricity except for Cointerra IV miner - but that's assuming it is delivered on time.

I used 30% increment on difficulty.  Now it may not go up 30% every increment, but the last 2 have been over 30% and it's irrelevant if the last few cycles are near 30% if your devices is already down to mining satoshis.

I'm going to sit on my sit on the sidelines with my 300GH and wait for the dust to settle.  My 2011 GPU farm has already made more than coins than any ASIC could provide (short of shelling out 7 digits).

welcome to the new world as bitcoin increase prices $400 plus , now all of miners out there should give you a return investment within a few months.

Re: Sell Bitcoins for paypal?
by
danhu
on 15/11/2013, 17:44:41 UTC
this website allow you to sell bitcoin and receive payment through paypal.  Their exchange rate and fee are a lot better than btc-e.com
http://www.vnbitcoin.org/sellbitcoinforusd.php

But with BTC to paypal most important is trust the transaction wont be charged back

http://www.vnbitcoin.org/sellbitcoinforusd.php   is very realiable so far . with no complain from anyone .  They are paying within 24 hours with their debit card.
Bitcoin is a system base on trust . If seller just base on risk only , NO one should sale bitcoin at all .  Just believing and trusting the big name like mtgox and inputs.io . We can see the outcome .

Complex mining calculator taking difficulty, delivery date ,exchange into account
by
danhu
on 13/11/2013, 03:58:07 UTC
http://www.vnbitcoin.org/bitcoincalculator.php

1) Exchange rate is instant update into calculations.
2) No body can predict the future haze rate . The calculator is using the average of the last 15 difficulty increments . that is the average difficulty changed of the last 5 months. A realistic future prediction based on past developments .
3) List all of the miners available to buy in the market. Let you adjust the delivery date to early or late  up to 90 days . it is very important to take into considerations delivery time because so far no one have deliver on time.
if you have late delivery you can adjust the delivery date to figure our your lost to ask the manufacture for compesations .
4) you input your miner cost
5) you input your miner haze rate
6) your input your electricity cost kilowatts per usd
7) Showing calculation in details . just click on the " show calculation " link

Best of all this calculation will automatic adjust to the exchange rate , difficulty level changes and default delivery date. It will update new default delivery date as manufacture announced it and let you adjust your own date to after or before the default date .
*** Every time you visit the site you should see updated calculations as new data changes. It is not like other calculators that don't adapt to change.

This calculator also let you predict how much your miner will make after certain period of time.
