Hi

you have to change the algorithm to Sumokoin. (XMR-STAK - https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases)

Nice,
it's works, but only for 5 minutes, so:

Hi,
where can I find a config.txt example for xmr-stak-win64.zip 2.2.0 version? there isn't in zip file.

Tks
Daniel
https://github.com/fireice-uk/xmr-stak/releases
"Config files from 2.1.0 are compatible and can be reused."

Hi,
thank you, but even in that version there isn't the file config.txt.

Regards,
Daniel
I just checked it. You have to run it first, after which it will generate a config file.

It Works... thanks a lot

by

Hi,
thanks for your reply.

I'm trying to mine.
I installed windows GUI(Credits version v1.1.1.0-beta (64-bit)) and synchronized completely.
Windows 10 64bit i5 8gb ram 256ssd.
On debug console : setgenerate true 4
then
{

  "blocks": 315084,

  "currentblocksize": 1000,

  "currentblocktx": 0,

  "difficulty": 0.654544909760994,

  "errors": "",

  "genproclimit": 4,

  "networkhashps": 10473991.18327355,

  "pooledtx": 0,

  "testnet": false,

  "chain": "main",

  "generate": true,

  "hashespersec": 9270

}

For 2 or 3 days , result balance = 0 and looking in the logs I found the previously posted error.

Mistake something, I'm missing some configuration?
thank you
Daniel

Re: Only CPU miner for powerpc
by
danielone80
on 17/01/2018, 10:40:32 UTC
If you intend to use the CPU without using GPU. You can try mining ETN or XMR. But my advice is better you don't mining without using GPU. Because it will have a small profit, not even profit. Moreover, hardware damaged due to excessive heat and waste of electricity. But if only to know the process of mining, that's something good.

thank you both,
the problem is not which currency to mining, but which miner to be able to run on my configuration,I find miner that can work only with sha256 and scrypt(but I find myself competing with the GPU, so not profitable) and no miner working for power pc with algorithms for only cpu(coin) :-(

I hope it was clear.
Thanks
Daniel
