I agree.
However, in the investing world, high reward comes along with high risk. It will be best to not gamble too much of your money in one single thing.
You may want to save some cash or invest some in stock market for safety reasons.

The market is looking better and better.
6k support has been holding very well. I do not think it will be broken any time soon. So i will buy up and keep buying hoping the price will go up.
In fact, i believe it can only go up from now.

Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver?
by

on 28/09/2018, 03:12:44 UTC
I heard that it was a trend a couple of years ago that people believe gold and silver will go rare and everyone will need it. Therefore, the price will go up.
In fact, Chinese goverment is also buying gold and silver. There may be reasons for that.
But if gold and silver go rare, it will make sense when the prices of gold and silver go up.

Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive?
by

I really think ETH is the only coin that will stay with us forever as it offers a platform for so many projects (ERC20 tokens)
EOS or any other altcoin could be shaken and corrupted as the applications get bad.
I would chose ETH.

Why cryotocurrency is useful?
What do you like best about cryotocurrency?
What makes cryotocurrency better then fiat?

It is useful because of the fast transaction and fairly cheap fee.
What I like about it is that I can send money to my friends in different continents. We all accept bitcoin instead of worrying about USD or Euro,...

Re: Why Ripple is so popular?

Because it has so many connections with the banks and financial institutions.
When it comes to something like a promising investment and it has the connections to finance, it just sounds good and juicy enough. People choose ripple to invest in because of seeing their logos on many medias.

The bounty bitcointalk rank was very important. But now a lot of rank down. Will it be an issue for the current bounty? We do not have the means to appreciate. Many of us are caught up in a problem because of the merit issue. If you can get the best out of the way, you can help others learn the best. There's been a lot of bounty coming from here. plz help.

Yes it will be an issue.
It is already an issue for me since I can't wear signature or text anymore. Not until I become a Junior member.
In order to be that i need merits from others. This is why I really try to post more quality posts and you should too.
I think they did a good job on this. This will definitely help the forum.

Honestly I have been holding a lot of coins for a lot of projects.
I dont think the number of holders matter but the project itself. The price will go down no matter what if the project is not doing anything positive.

A lot of big Asian whales own a big chunk of the entire bitcoin supply.
I know that bitcoin was borned in Asia and also first used in Asia. There were a lot of people in Asia holding the first bitcoins ever back in the day. Now they are big holders of the bitcoin world for that reason.

Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin

If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin?
I personally think that people will take their money out and will invest it somewhere else.

Do you think that bitcoin will be a good alternative?

I believe the stock market has  a big influence on every other markets.
If the stock market crashed, crypto market would go down too. I do not know whether bitcoin is still a good investment during that time.

I dont know what will happen to bitcoin but there will be more and more crypto projects being borned after several years.
Crypto currency will bring a new revolution to our financial and technological industry.

Hopefully bitcoin will stay too as it was the parent of everything. But we are not sure. Bitcoin doesn't have real applications or products like others.

Some people are afraid of crypto currency because the market is too new. and everytime they hear someone talking about bitcoin dropping 10% in a day they will doubt the crypto market even more.
The majority of people out there do not really think bitcoin is a good investment just yet.

My worst investment was into Purk project.
It was pumped to 2000 sats in July, after 2 months now it is only 80 sats. Like why? Huh Huh
All of my money went into nothing and devs team cannot do anything about it.

Yes I do.
The fact that a lot of people here are still doing bounties everyday make me believe more about it.
I would say about 70% of people here are at least doing a bounty. So why not?
I myself also earn quite a lot from bounties.

Re: What is the safest and most reliable altcoin?

dankboner83

At this moment all the coins out there have the same way to store and secure your coin.
A private key and a wallet that really holds the coins. You can have a web wallet, a phone wallet or a paper wallet even.
Therefore,
the safety now really depends on how you store your coin and how you protect your private key, not the coins themselves.

Re: How the Bank works to make money?
by
dankboner83
on 06/09/2018, 04:50:20 UTC
How do you think banks make money, how does a bank make money to pay its employees and business operational?
Does the bank rely solely on interest on loans from banks?

That is only one small source of income.
The banks invest your money immediately right after you put money into savings. They never keep a lot of money. They invest everything and make money out of the investments.

In my opinion, ETH is still undervalued now.
It will go back up to 600 or 700 very soon.
Everyone who has an ETH bag now is smart. Dont give up on your ETH investment.

That is not 100% right.
Either you are just unlucky or you dont do enough research. I have a lot of airdrops that pay me well and the coins/tokens are all tradable. Not to mention I could have a decent life wit all airdrops I have received too.
But you have to be better at researching which coin you should join in the airdrops. Thats how you benefit from them.

Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital?
by
dankboner83
on 31/08/2018, 05:16:36 UTC
In the study of economics, Investment mean any addition in physical stock as well as stock of finished goods,  or you can say any putting money in anything for the motive of profit.I want to know your opinion that what are main challenges for small investors in any type of business now a days, If he/she has nothing after his investment?

I was that type of investor with only a small amount of money.
It was so hard to invest in different projects, so diversifying was not a thing for me. I invested in only 2 projects and the price dropped dramastically which hurt my investment.
That is only one thing. Small capital has a lot of drawbacks.
