How can I display the individual hashrate of each card?

Hi,

not sure what you mean exactly? If you run TT you should see after some seconds something like this>

06:34:45 GPU[0]: 13.195 MH/s  CClk:1.354 GHz MClk:1.307 GHz 62C 76% 125W 105.56 kH/W [A540:R0 0.0%]  LastShare: 00:00:04
06:34:45 GPU[1]: 12.656 MH/s  CClk:1.759 GHz MClk:3.898 GHz 69C 55% 152W 83.263 kH/W [A482:R0 0.0%]  LastShare: 00:00:04
06:34:45 Rig-Speed[2 min]: 25.851 MH/s 277W 93.323 kH/W [A1022:R0 0.0%] Uptime: 05:04:36  LastShare: 00:00:04
06:34:45 Luck: avg.time per share (424.19 MH @ 25.851 MH/s) 17 secs. passed 4 secs. luck share: 27% session: 99%

The first number after GPU[0] and GPU[1] is the hashrate for that card. Please clarify is this is not what you are locking for.

Thanks.

Hello, for some reason this miner will not start as it says "connected to pool xxxxxxxxxxxx" and then it says "lost connection to pool xxxxxxxxxxx" over and over and never starts, the same pool works well with a different software

Hey Nebutech, great work.  What is the minimum memory for C31 with your miner?  Does 8gb card work on windows 10? or is it only 11gb?  Also what is the minimum and maximum parameters for cpu intensity?

8GB cards only work under win7 and linux.

--cuckoo-intensity

Set intensity of cuckoo, cuckaroo, cuckatoo, [1, 12].

Set to 0 means autumatically adapt. Default: 0.

Thanks for the response.  Take care.

Re: What's wrong with Monero?
by

on 21/01/2019, 03:27:29 UTC
Monero team has to urgently prepare new fork. Network is heavily centralized by some some strong FPGA pool.
We tired to tell the clueless monero devs that a the simple changes they were making to the algo every  6 months were trivial for fpga devs and even asic devs to implement.  on thier github we pleaded with them to implement something like a memory hard change or better yet a progpow like algorithm to stymie fpgas and ASICS for a longer period but they ignored it

It's unfortunate that they do not consider better solutions than cryptonight, who ever said that it has to be a cryptonight variant always?  It's time to move on from it.

Please try the new release, it should be fixed now.

great job mate.

Get 1250+ on 8gb cards.

nine GPUs, nice rig bro! decent RX580 can achieve 1200+ and even 1250+ with good modding.

JCE your newest miner is top notch, I'm getting 1350 h/s stable on rx 580 8gb.

it's an idea, but as a workaround. I really want to have the hashrate just stable, with no tricks involved.
Once i'm done with the new CPU version i go back to this problem as top priority.

Hey JCE

I figured out a manual fix to get those rx 580 cards to hash at max speeds on Heavy and be stable, any time i see one that has lost the max speed, i pause/unpause 4 times each (8 button pushes) in quick succession and the card comes back to maximum speed.  May be something like this can be coded into the miner?

Thanks, and that's also my first idea: recent JCEs are faster but support a lot less to mine on 99% available memory. The trick is that the b5 and b6 no longer need to use all memory to get fast, I tried to configure my 4G cards exactly like my 2G (with about 1900M memory allocated) and they mined fast. Increasing the 4G cards load over 2G gave very little extra speed at the cost of a very unstable hashrate.

Maybe the fix is just to warm users to update their older config and use less memory. I'm afraid a lot of users just updated their binary keeping the old config on 8G with maximum memory load, as it was the rule on previous versions, and is still on other miners like Cast or SRB.

To all who have the problem: configure your 8G card like if it was a 6G, leaving free vram on it and retry. I'd expect to get -1% speed and a very more stable hashrate.
I remember this rule from older Claymore 9 with mode -a 1: it provided +2% extra perf with +20% power consumption, 100% memory usage and random crashes. Not a good deal.

Hey JCE, thanks for all your wonderful miner work over quite some time.

As you know the b6 and b5 are very unstable for rx 8gb.  Based on reading this response that you wrote, I understood that you are saying to lower the multi-hash a bit?  The multihash is what determines the amount of memory used correct?  So perhaps going from 944 to 896 might be a good solution?  Can u elaborate on this proposed solution?  Thanks!!

Keep working hard you are the best around.

DERO GUI wallet released. https://github.com/deroproject/dero_gui_wallet

Its work in progress but fully functional. Developed from scratch,
DERO gui features:
Remote Node supported by default.
Localhost node also supported. Custom remote node not supported.
ALL communications are TLS/SSL encrypted..
All processing in GUI wallet is local: Data is fetched from remote node and processed locally.
No Keys/seed/passwords is transmitted to remote node in any case.
Even if remote node is compromised, Local wallet is safe.

I am a bit curious is the latest upgrade of DERO GUI wallet optional or mandatory?
I guess it is a optional upgrade because you did not emphasize in your thread that this one is a mandatory update.

No it is not mandatory, don't worry.  It is just a new wallet designed to be more user friendly and the start of a more user friendly way to interact with dero coin.  There is nothing new in terms of implementations of new tech in this wallet, it just is a different way to look at your coins.  So far it's just the alpha release too, so it's probably more stable to use the CLI still, but the gui is very very fast and smooth even  if the alpha version is a bit plain and ugly.

the start of this is good, however there are so many other currencies out there who have the same idea of just asic/nicehash resistance, and "private fast secure etc....."  What does the end goal look like for Nerva?  Do you have plans to do something innovative?  Or at the moment just another Cryptonote coin to try and compete with the others?  That's gonna be hard because most of the others are well ahead already.

Renesis sp-mod #2 has been released today. (0.05btc +2% fee)

+10% faster than sp-mod #1 on the 1080ti

Please mate =) T-Rex mod and Enemy mod are free and are on Renesis github. We support free software and such mods that you sell should be given away with a small dev fee. I hope that you re-consider and release it free.

Well said mr Havok.  This kind of miners are doing everyone a service by release to the public, even with dev fee, at least they are released.  I support this message and also support public release miners.  Also t-rex does 36 mh on a 1080 ti and spmod 2 does 34?  Whats the reason to pay anyways?  Unless spmod is doing a lot faster, is not worth, and instead it is doing slower...

I don't think that the SP mod is faster enough to justify an additional fee, but anyways, it might be for one someone, their choice.  To the devs, i heard you want to do some use cases in supermarkets or something?  How does using renesis benefit them over normal fiat? just wondering how it cn be applied, thanks.

Thanks for your comment and the question. Yes, we want to have Renesis as a crypto currency that is applicable to the most common human necessities like groceries, etc. That is just the start. We as people might buy a phone, a laptop, a watch, a pair of jeans once in a while but we will always buy items that we need to consume daily. There is a problem with few countries where the crypto is considered fake and like air but that is due to no control, lack of understanding or regulatory problems . The most important thing would be understanding that crypto is real and it is here to stay for good and not just a means to earn penny profits. Crypto can't be stopped.

Renesis team is based in Central Asia and we will start with a pilot project for Renesis PoS terminals here. Our aim is to start off from here and have the PoS solution cross borders. =) If you would like to have a detailed talk, lets talk on our official discord mate. =)

All sounds good but the main question goes unanswered here.  Why should the store want to use Renesis instead of a fiat currency to accept payment?  What benefit does Renesis have compared to the fiat?  Renesis has slow block times and doesn't have anything in advantage over other currencies so far which are much ahead, it only has a commitment to asic proof algorithm changes so far.  Will it be able to execute smart contracts?  Will it be able to execute instant transactions?  Privacy?  Future proofing?  How will store benefit from this over fiat?

That is my questions, thank you sir for response.

the development here seems to be excellent.  You keep working hard and releasing update after update.  The project itself is incredibly ambitious and I hope you succeed as it will further crypto itself.  However you've got a big task on your hands attempting to have 1 second block times in a PoW format.  Good luck, I hope that you manage to solve one of crypto's hardest issues of double spends and orphans with such a low block times.

GUI wallet preview.  Wallet is currently under testing (by me and others).  Expect some changes before final release.  Here is a preview of how things look now.

Nice these wallets looking good.  Not sure about the colors but thats not a big issue lol.  Looks clean and easy to use though, at least from what it looks like through these pictures.. i am happy its finally arriving its been a long time without gui wallet, but of course not a big deal since this code was build from scratch instead of simple copy paste.

even if you create third, fourth coin and so on, where will the users use those coins, other than trading?

Agree, I mean I have already seen 2 coins working together as one before with via/veri and this  is only new because it has masternodes on both chains.  The question is, what's the point? What kind of benefit does this model give over the standard model?
