Craig Wright claimed that he is the creator of bitcoin and owns copyright to Bitcoin white paper. He filed a lawsuit against Cøbra (Bitcoin.org domain administrator) and won that. UK court ordered Cøbra to remove the bitcoin whitepaper from bitcoin.org. Most probably, bitcoin core isn't available for download in UK for the same reason.
On a side note, Craig Wright won the lawsuit, not because he proved his claim. He won the lawsuit because Cøbra didn't want to reveal his/her identity and didn't appear in the court. We all know that Craig Wright isn't Satoshi.
Please note that PhoenixMiner is extensively tested on many mining rigs but there still may be some bugs. Additionally, we are actively working on bringing many new features in the future releases. If you encounter any problems or have feature requests, please post them here (in this thread). We will do our best to answer in timely fashion.
I have a feature request. Can you make it so that mining can be set as enabled or disabled based on the time of day and the day of the week? The reason why this would be useful is certain electrical plans offer reduced rates at offpeak hours in exchange for drastically increased rates at peak hours. Some also exclude certain days of the week, such as weekends and holidays from the peak pricing. This would allow for roughly 80-90% uptime in exchange for 60-70% operating cost.
Your miner is shocking, it is brilliant for power & speed but a couple of times I have stopped the miner due to mining on your address for over 3 hours, everyone do NOT use this miner it mines for the DEV for hours at a time. total sham.
deleted everything, pools are registered correctly, DEV still happens a couple of hours a day
if you are using command line mode of this miner make sure you remove epools.txt and dpools.txt from folder due to crashes, it turns to link inside of those and mine devfee's instead of yours...

Sanity check: downloaded the correct binaries? Compared the hashes?
Hi guys i have a issue with my 13 gpus rig running claymore 14.7, when i apply -strap to the 1st and 2nd card everything fine but when i tried to apply to the 3rd or any next windows crash bsod "system service exception" i tried everything i tested the gpus on another rig i have a asrock h110 btc pro, i tried new drivers new windows please help
I had the same.issue..didn't solve it - went another route, but the documentation says that some straps at higher memory.clocks crash. Did you try low clocks on failing cards with each of the different straps? If not, try that and work your way up till crash.

Re: PhoenixMiner 4.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
Hello Recently built 2 rigs using this software. They are 6 AMD sapphire nitro+ rx580. No bios mod, overclocked enough to get 182 MH/s and no rejected shares. Using latest AMD drivers 19.6.2. The first one is working perfectly fine and mining properly with no problems, but the second one, despite having a good hashrate, is not very stable and crash after few hours (phoenixminer.exe stopped working). First one mining ETH and second one ETC. Anyone having any ideas why is this happening ? current config.txt file (basically the same for the 2):
I had one gpu like that. Was a bit flaky at higher temps..also randomly dropping hashrate. I took it out of the rig and all is stable.. run that one card on a gpu benchmark like superposition and see if they are similar in results. I found I had a 15% difference - card was therefore faulty..sent it back

Re: PhoenixMiner 4.2c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux)
Read this if you can't mine ETH with PhoenixMiner: important message for everyone that is running older versions of PhoenixMiner (before 4.2) - this was already posted here a few times:
IMPORTANT! The versions of PhoenixMiner before 4.2 only support DAG epoch up to 265. ETH has reached epoch 266 already. To ensure uninterrupted operation, please upgrade to 4.2. If you are mining other coins, you can safely disregard this message.
The reason for this limitation is that we need to perform some quite complex calculations for each future DAG epoch in order to increase the hashrate of the optimized kernels. Recently we have added more computational resources and PhoenixMiner 4.2 will work without problems up to DAG epoch 329. We will increase this number significantly (e.g. 400 or more) in the next version.
To answer other questions:
1. Yes, we are working on the next version. There aren't any huge changes however, so we are taking our time to fix any problems, add small missing features, etc. We will probably release the next version shortly after the new AMD 5700 cards are released (they should be out on Jul 7th). 2. You should not upgrade the AMD drivers or let Windows 10 upgrade itself because all current AMD cards are released a long time ago (Radeon VII is the only exception) and there is no upside in upgrading the driver, only downsides (like AMD constantly changing the API for clocks, fans, voltages control, etc.).
Thanks!
Are you planning on including the AMD Mem tweaker in the next release?

Any idea why the software wants to keep seeing the clocking settings?
Also seems the fans reset to a non fixed value too
Hello, last week end I updated my rigs from v12.0. I set only rx boost 1, without touching the straps. I don't have share problems but it seems that my hashrate on the pool is lower now while the miner says its higher. I use mining rig rental. Anyone with the problem?
Not too sure this applies to you.
I have been having this issue with nanopool in the last 24 hours (tested another miner and seemed to be the same) - about 15-20% lower. Swapped to ethermine as a test and that seems to be better at the moment.

Re: AMD Mem Tweak - Read/modify mem timings on the fly - [Vega Friendly] [Win/Linux]
Guys please a vega 56 hynix settings also p6 state? Same with p7 or lower general....
What I did (lazy route) - looked at defaults, ran claymore with rx boost and saw those. Did some tweaks here and there. For the RX580.. maybe Vega could work too

What refresh rate do most people use for an RX580 nitro+ 8gb?
I might be doing something wrong but the latest radeon drivers (19.6.1) have halved the mining rate of my Vega 56 but not changed the rate of my RX580.
Any ideas anyone ?
Make sure you are running compute mode on the rx580
-y enables Compute Mode and disables CrossFire for AMD cards. "-y 1" works as pressing "y" key when miner starts. This option works in Windows only.
The above works correctly and go from 30.5mh to 31.5mh
Trying the straps 0,1...7 @2200 just crashes the rig
They are all hynix except 1 is micron
Any suggestions on what to try to stop the crashing?
I.tried just strap 1,with the same crashing
if you said without strap you already got 31.5mh then I believe you already flashed your bios. in order to use strap you need to restore to original bios.
Interesting. I would have thought the on the fly straps would override whatever straps there were..
I have same problem on AsRockH110 and curently trying to find what is problem. And card can be flashed to whatever bios to use miner's straps. So its not that.
Anyone had Any luck on figuring this one out yet?
Try to lower the VRAM frequency normally you will earn the loss of hasrate with the -strap option. Same problem from my side with RX470, I lower the VRAM frequency to apply the -strap option before I had blue screen.
Are you saying, set the timings to stock (no overclocking) and then try the strap setting?
Well, my 8xRX470 on AsRock H110 works now without problem.. i just updated miner from 14.5 to 14.6.
Let me give it another go or two {Edit}
By turning off strap to all but the first GPU, it applies the timings to the first GPU no problem. I can only guess it has an issue with GPU1 - Is there a possibility the BIOS says hynix memory, but is actually something else? Could I have flashed the wrong memory type over the BIOS? I will flip the switch later and check.
I did note that the hashrate dropped with the new timings by .5mh/s on the one that had timings set..not sure if I have better timings or something else is going on

I have a problem running claymore 14.6 with strap option on Windows 10 and GTX 1060 cards with samsung memory, drivers 425.31 I am starting the bat file with admin rights but claymore closes immediately. And that is regardless of my OC settings. Anyone with same problem?
Instead of filename.exe (forget the filename) use your full path "c:\whateverthepathis\filename.exe"
Run as administrator changes the path to windows\system32
