"Crypto Exchanges are more likely to be compromised, so please put some of your assignments into a wallet right now. Withdrawals will largely stop until the market is stable."

Do you agree or disagree with above statement..

Always keep in mind that Not your keys, not your money. exchanges, vaults, and all other interest-paying platforms can vanish anytime. if your funds are on that they are gone forever

I think you should remove those referral links from your post.

Done.
Thanks

I'm quite surprised to see that you don't put Coinbase on that list, and better yet there is no IDEX and instead Forkdelta. Well, maybe that's what they call subjectivity. Anyone might have different lists I guess.

Yes, that's what they call subjectivity.

Things to consider when choosing a cryptocurrency exchange
by
dasunlanka

I think this article is valuable for bitcointalk users so I am writing it here from my website. I will attach original post link under this post

There are 200-300 exchanges to trade in cryptocurrency. We need to look at a few things when selecting an exchange to trade a coin. The current exchanges can be viewed Here

01 Whether the coin is listed on the exchange
02 Credibility
03 Trading volume and Spacing / Size between buy-sell order
04 Deposit withdrawal fee
05 Deposit withdrawal limitations
06 Minimum confirmation required for a Deposit and withdrawal
07 Minimum tradeable token size
08 Taker maker fee
09 Security status

01 Whether the coin is listed on the exchange

If the Coin is listed only on one exchange then you have to buy-sell in there. If Coin is listed on 2-3 exchanges, then you can consider the following.

02 Credibility

From these points, credibility is a very important factor. Because in order to trade we have to Deposit in crypto or USD. So the crypto you deposit should be responsible for the exchange. Therefore, it is not advisable to trade in small exchanges with a low volume that is not well known.

03 Trading volume and Spacing / Size between buy-sell order

The other important point is the gap between trading volume and buy sell orders. It is not advisable to use exchanges with a large gap between buy sell orders. In such exchanges, we have to sell coin buy or sell at a price that is higher or lower than the market price. The other thing is that the buy sell order's size. Imagine you are selling $ 10,000 ETH but all the buy orders on the trading exchange are $ 5000 and you only have to sell ETH for $ 5,000. So, always choose the trading volume of the coin you are trading in.normally if the Trading volume is too high, often there are large buy-sell orders

04 Deposit withdrawal fee

Most exchanges do not have a crypto deposit fee. But there may be some exchange deposit fees. Be aware of it. Every exchange charges a withdrawal fee because you have to pay a blockchain transaction fee when you withdraw the crypto. However, the exchange fee is charged 10 times as much as the blockchain transaction fee. However, the withdrawal fee is different from one exchange so be careful about that. If you want to withdraw crypto from exchange to an another exchange, use a coin with a low withdrawal fee. I'll post about that in a future post.

05 Deposit withdrawal limitations

There are some exchanges where they say that if you deposit this coin, you  have to deposit this much. If not it won't show it in the balance. So if you deposit too few, you have to deposit more untill that number, or you get stuck in the exchange. If you don't have minimum withdrawal amout you can not withdraw that amount .That is why this matter is a must-see

06 Minimum confirmation required for a Deposit and withdrawal

This is especially true for the less popular coin. The popular coin we use often doesn't have that much effect. When you deposit a coin in any exchange, Confirmation means that how many blocks that need to compleate before balance is displayed.  ex- If you deposit ETH to binance, binance will show ETH in your balance when the block you deposited is 12 blocks ahead. A block of Ethereum is going to take 1 minutes. But there are some exchanges where some coins have 50 - 100 confirmations. So some coin has to wait for hours to be deposited on some exchanges. If you suddenly want to sell, you can't. As a result, the number of confirmations to be deposited  is very important to the less popular coin.

07 Minimum tradeable token size

Every exchange has a minimum buy sell order size. So you can't trade for less than that. In that case, the deposited crypto will get trapped. So if you want to deposit less than $ 50, you should look for that too.

08 Taker maker fee

Taker / maker fee is the fee charged by trading. In most exchanges this is like 0.1%. This is not a big deal.

09 Security status

The other is the security status of the exchange. Has the previous exchange been hacked or not?

Considering many of these, the following exchanges are the best exchanges to trade at the moment. It is better to have your ID verified in these exchanges and perhaps pay $ 10- $ 20 airdrops / Trading contest so that the giveaway can be missed when the ID is verified.

01 Binance
02 Okex
03 Huobi Global
04 Bitforex
05 Cex.io
06 Coinbene
07 Bittrex
08 Digifinex
09 Binance Dex (Decentralize)
10 Forkdelta (Decentralize)

While in the crypto field we have to use the main exchange as well as many small exchanges. However, it is not wise to keep a large amount in exchange without trading daily. Because the security was high, the binance exchange, the main exchange, was also hacked. It's best to put crypto in a private wallet

Have they read this thread and hidden what lead to obvious red alerts on what seems a clear Ponzi scheme?

Maybe. and day by day they are getting smarter. I Think they already received many funds from the beginners. So they will build a new and attractive website soon

People are very gullible and too much greed even makes them more stupid. Imagine this fake wallet already has 10K+ downloads on playstore.
If you look at the reviews, most are posted on particular days and are 5 star fake reviews... the genuine ones are mostly random and 1 star
Most people think these kind of craps gonna be thier life changing point. That is why they posting 5* reviews, admins and creaters know this is a trap. But they earn money from it

I generally used to think people are smart enough and do not invest in these schemes until one day I met with a guy that invested .5 BTC in such kind of schemes.

Me too, eventually  but I realized most of crypto newbies are falling in to these kind of traps easily. Due to lack of crypto knowledge and how blockchain works

Guys, Please beware about Cloud Token wallet. Most probably to be a scam wallet and Scam Token Like Bitconnect. same theory Using here. They guarantee to pay 10% of your HOLDING funds by CTO(cloud token). Normally we need to focus on the security seriously before choosing a wallet to store your funds. this company says they touch your funds and trade in the exchanges and give you a profit percentage. as we know trading is not always profitable and can't guarantee a proper profit.

what are the risks

01 They touch your funds and trade so your funds are not your own control
02 you have no private keys so you can't get your funds if something happens to the cloud token wallet app(passphrases are useless without working app)
03 you will receive CTO tokens and price of this Tokens increasing continually without any trading platform. everyone knows the price of any token/coin depend on buying pressure and selling pressure. without that price cannot be increased. most probably company controls the price of this CTO tokens.
04 at anytime company can get your funds and give you CTO tokens as bitconnect did. then all people have useless CTO token and no one will buy it

so Please beware about these kinds of scams and secure your fund with a proper wallet. always try to store them in offline hardware wallet.
Thanks

Save post, you mean bookmarking a thread? You can do as alternative the notification function of the forum by clicking the notify function/link in the upper right of the thread so you will be notified on your email on every reply on that specific thread or,

Yes, it is kind of bookmarking, on the forum but I no Need to have a notification for every reply.

just use the bookmark function of the browser you're using, I'm sure it has a bookmark feature.

oh yes It is a good alternative idea but not a forum feature.

Re: ''Trusted New project'' section for Bitcointalk
by
dasunlanka

lot of people will do fake reviews and shit just to stay in that section. And of course this would open up another avenue for people who wants to earn money by doing fake reviews, aside from people selling merits and post this thing would be the worst as they will be making shit up for other people to believe in that project.

when the merit system starts some people thought the system will collapse with, selling merits. but it is not, the merit system works very well. the people holding smerit don't spend for useless posts and for money(only few people). someone can give only one or two fake reviews no more they will be caught.

Nope.  Would be spammed.
Check out Project Development...

What you mean by ''spammed'' . lot of projects have good whitepapers and project development roadmap before ICO but after, difficult to find a team member..

''Trusted New project'' section for Bitcointalk
by
dasunlanka
on 07/04/2019, 06:00:29 UTC

I can't find any related topics about this suggestion. that is why I am posting this. I think it is a good time to add ''Trusted New Project''/''New Project reviewing'' section on Alternate cryptocurrencies thread. It is like reviewing new projects. anyone can add new projects with full details and other people can review about that project, already very good analyzers are in bitcointalk they can search about the team, project, website, whitepaper and other things.in this method people can find legitimate and good projects for investment and bounties.

This is the process

01 anyone can post an announcement about their project in ''Trusted New project''
02 any person in the bitcointalk can review
03 after some time period (1-2 weeks) moderators can give some rating about the project comparing all the comments. and if the project is less than minimum rating moderator will delete the announcement
04 all the people can read the announcement, comments, rating and get a better idea about that project
05 all the announcement related to that project must include rating given by the moderator

I would like to know your idea about this suggestion
Thanks

I have registered in many of the Bot Telegram On the basis that they are mining.
But when you asked to withdraw the amount,I could not pull them Cry

That is another way to scam people. mining bots always ask to deposit some btc to withdraw your mined Btc. don't send them your btc.

I never used stable coins but as far as I know, exchange charges btc as fee when you send btc, eth when you send eth and USDT when you send USDT. If that's the case, how can the fee turn into $10-$20. Looks like I have missed a little to some part of your theory.

Fee will increase when unconfirmed transaction increase and btc/eth value increased. It happened last crypto boom(2017 dec). and you can see another up movement last week. Here is the link for block details

Wow I didn't know about this new trend by scammers on Telegram. Glad I've seen your thread, I'll dig further into the partners' profile the next time I have doubts on their legitimacy.

On the other hand, I don't send ETH to anybody nor download apps I'm 100% sure that are the legit ones, but anyway I think it's a great sample to show to beginners before they fall into any of these traps.

Yes,always check their profile closely. most scammers have no user ID.  and If someone DM you first think why he wants to contact you. if he introduces more attractive/profitable offers don't think twice, bite him.

I think you have some wrong idea about stable coin. First of all, stable coins are for the liquidity of your investment and taking some instant profit. There's no other reason. If you are referring to the fee, it's nothing. You will not liquid $10 with tether. It will be a big amount where $4 is a tiny amount.

you are in a wrong idea too..fee will be a very big problem if BTC passes the $50,000 mark. No one will use BTC/USDT/Crypto if they need to pay $10-$20 fee per transaction.
