@Eliovp I see you've changed your mind about bios mods on RX 5700 Smiley
Have you tried changing the default voltages the card uses at stock settings?

We can use those to set an "offset voltage curve" (y=ax2+bx+c, y in Volts, x in Ghz).
I've changed my default voltage for 2000 to 1.05v instead of 1.17v by tweaking those. They are stored in ieee754 float format in the bios.

BTW I'm super ready to test the timing encoding/decoding Smiley

Yeah, i've done my share of playing around with these navi's.

I don't think i'm going to release anything with stuff like "MorePowerTool" out there.
Let them have some fun.

Cheers!

Got it. Any hints on GDDR6 strap structure?

Since you're promoting cloud mining which is scam by default, I won't
try other links either, as I suspect those tools probably steal my crypto or
install viruses on my PC

Bruh, chill man.
I don't know shit about mining, I'm just an overclocking enthusiast.
You're accusing me about something related to scam because of the fact that the source for this guys comment is that amia.io website?

I've tested the bios edits and the timings indeed can be changed on the bios level. Look here - gpubiosbase reports 1750 straps at 1875/2000 memory clock for the edited bios.

The modded atiflash that guys did also works as intended. Tweaking the timings did increase Superposition and 3DMark Timespy scores for me slightly too.
I need to test out the 1250Mhz straps on the weekend and try to decode the straps somehow to test them one by one.

Hey all.
I assume messing with polaris is not relevant here, eh but here's a question:
I cant apply changes to CAS and MISC2 timings (causes "random colored screen" driver crash) as I assume changing those also needs changes to MC_SEQ_MISC straps (IMC straps)
Hovewer Wattman can successfully apply it's "level 2" timings and it's changing CAS and MISC2 aswell as reported by --current command.
Maybe I'm missing something?
