God damn, the amount of bots trying to farm merit and levels have taken over bitcointalk. Nothing in this last page makes ANY sense.

crayzy88 newbie account created just for this aka SaintElse aka (probably) masterofnone1 the bot currently spamming < 20% market rate bids on crypto bridge in hopes of causing a panic by triggering app price alerts.

https://i.imgur.com/4BnHtAf.png

There's an organized effort going on right now to drive the price of SPD down by causing panic. This is nothing new and part of crypto world.

If you have a question please join the discord and the devs will answer in #questions-for-team.

Or give in to the FUD, your choice.

Re: Identical 1080ti rigs, different performance

It's 6x1080ti rigs, they're all the same cards. Swapped some of them out to confirm it's not the cards.
Funnily enough the rig with lower performance runs around 5-6 degrees cooler per card (better airflow)

Another difference I found is that the memory commit size is 22.4GB/38GB, vs 5GB in the other rigs.

Identical 1080ti rigs, different performance

They all have the same: Hardware, OS (Win 10), BIOS version and settings, nvidia drivers, risers, miner & arguments.
The only difference I found between them is that in the low performing one, GPU-Z shows 3.3GB under 'Memory usage (dedicated)' vs 480MB on the high performance ones. Virtual Memory is set to 35gb on all.
There's a 5-10% difference in performance, doesn't matter which algo or miner is used.

Not sure where else to look.

I run 6x 1080ti's at 75% power on 2x 850W Corsair gold PSU's. 670W and 630W from wall for each 850 PSU.

Are you running your cards on stock settings or have you done some overclocking?

I made the same mistake but with one of the +2 pins in the 6+2 for PCI-e power, it had slid out just slightly after tidying up my cables. Took me hours to figure it out.

Re: Current best powered risers available?

Is the bottom of it "bulged out" so that it CAN'T seat? If so, don't even THINK about trying it - it shorted out or something at some point and seems to be leaking as well.
The bottom is bulged out yea, as if it burst. I've ordered risers from another brand (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074PS39BK) let's see if I have better luck. I'll try Victony ones next if not.

The only issue I have with the Mintcell risers to date is that once in a while the USB cable itself is iffy - but they're standard cables and cheap/easy to replace when that happens.

How does one determine the USB cable is iffy? I've had a few problems with Mintcell risers where the rig would freeze/lose GPU connection while mining - I just assumed they were beyond repair and replaced them. What are the signs of bad USB cables?

Also, check this out... Mintcell risers I got last week:

This one I didn't even try to use

This one boots but makes the rig crash after 15min - 1 hour of mining. Are those capacitors supposed to be perfectly lined up?

There was a lyra2z discussion quite a few pages back, wonder if anyone has been able to match miner vs MPH hashrates?
Getting 10MH average on MPH vs 12MH on ccminer and profit reflects this (20% less revenue than expected)
Heard people had better luck with other pools? I'm using the lyra2z optimized ccminer by djm34 with high intensity
