What is your settings with the 15kh/s hash? What did you get with BTM + ETH?

90 PL is a good setting, sweetest spot is like arround 70/80% PL but 90% is pretty fine for the card.
Depends of your fan, temp, airflow etc.

Dual mining is trading 6-7k on BTM for 40mh on Ethash basically, but with a bit higher power consumption (due to high memory clock).
So it depends on what you need ^^

BTM SOLO mining at 15k+ on a 2080ti is still a solid income even in the middle of ASICS.
The miner is still great Smiley

Dual mining depends on your memory, if you don't have a good Samsung one that you can push at +1000 / +1200 the Solo BTM will still be the best.
(Like me with my shitty Micron at +600 max only).

@nebutech I don't know if you have pushed the BTM at the maximum but the Asics seems sold out for now and the blockchain hasrate pretty stable since April.
If you can squeeze a few extra perf on the BTM, the RTX will still shine on it, even when the actual performance is pretty amazing already.

Hello Everybody,

Since the 14,3 + regarding the VegaStrap.

I'm having error strapping the 56 especially (which are flashed to 64).
While it do works perfectly on the Vega64 natively 64.

The behavior is that on a 56 flashed to 64, the straps said it's applied, but the DAG is never completed and it stays at 0.0mh/s

I'm guessing is that since the miner detect the GPU as 56 compute unit, it apply the Vega 56 timing on it (maybe ?)
So I'm trying to force the 64 Strapping on the 56 with Samsung memory.

But which is the nomenclature of it ?
From the Readme exemple which is POL8S1

I'm trying :

-strap VEGS1 -> wrong strap format
-strap VEG8S1 -> failed, error 1015
-strap VEGAS1 -> failed, error 1015
-strap V64S1 -> wrong strap format

EDIT :
It works when I export the V64 Strap 1 timer, and that I inject them manually on the Vega56 once the miner is starter without strapping.
I can get 48 49 on the Vega56 this way.

BTM 1660,1660ti ?

Don't think you'll be profitable.
The whole point of this miner is the use of Tensor Cores on BTM, which you don't have at all on a 1660/1660ti.
So basically you'll be the same as a 1070 at most.

Mmm pool side show 10kh/s less then what miner shows  and when it does show near what miner shows it slowly drops. On BTM

I don't know where you're located, but for the BTM since all the pools are in China, you can expect to lose 10% of the Hasrate from the timeout & disconnection you have.

For instance in Europe I have 34kh/s reported in the miner, 30kh/s effective on F2pool.
Basically it mines good when China is sleeping, and I get horrible drop when it's their afternoon / evening.

Hello,
Thanks for your miner Nebutech.

Using RTX tensor is a really good thing.
It's a shame that with the upcoming ASICs it will put a little bit of shadow on it, but your original job is well done.

However put it perspective, as usual, all the first batch Asics are already mining before shipping, I don't think it will get unprofitable that fast on an RTX thanks to your miner.

RTX cards will always have resell value which an ASIC don't have, so I think GPU mining still have a small future Smiley

Anyway I'm happy to mine with your NBMiner with 2x 2080ti and your fees is rightfully claimed for your hard work.
Thanks again.

@hepa_s

I have the boot issue you're having, but on a "main" Vega which is plugged to the monitor itself.

By putting it behind an intel GPU like you did, the Oldcomer softpowerplaytable boots fine.

Instead of putting it stock did you tried to overvolt a bit in a custom powerplaytable ?
I think if you put 920-930mv in each states it should help the card booting, or just adding like +10% power target.

Do you use xmr-stack-amd, 2 threads/cards like it's explained page26 (2016-1600) for the 1850h/s ?

Haven't tried to monero yet, was already happy to have 4 R56 (flashed at 64) softpowermodded on main ETH at 173MH @750w at the wall.
