Additional taxes on crypto should not be there. Just the normal tax bracket just as for any other income.

Bitcoin price is not going to fall to $1000. In the worst case, it will go to $5000 but even that is very hard to assume.

I do not think that it is in their minds. That will affect their primary business and they do not want that.
