2 x similar rigs of 6 x 280X's

Need a lot of tuning yet but haven't had the time

Frames are off-the-shelf steel from Bunnings for $37ea =D They stack nicely... I can remove one frame to work on it, then stack them back, all without powering down the miners.

I've modified them slightly - only using one shelf, but added right-angle aluminium for the cards to sit on.

Re: My first 8gpu rig 6 pci + 2 pci m.2 need recommendation on PSU

Maybe you are more lucky than me but I could not detect any gpu using an M.2 to pci-e adapter. Got refunded at least.

I do have a 8 (RX480 8Gb) GPU rig running from a z270 with 1x3 pci-e switch.

But I am using about 1500w of power. I am not undervoltage alot(-96mv) with memory timing shift and a little over clock on memory. But my aim is to get zero memory errors and have a stable system.

Keep us posted on your m. 2 test run. Hope it works for you

Hey, how is the pci-e splitter? Any issues and where did you get it from?

That's the thing - I included the recommended fee.

And when I go to blockchain to check the TXID it says it doesn't exist :/

Hey guys I sent ~8BTC about 5 hours ago - including the recommended fee of 0.0056BTC and have not got a single confirmation yet. Surely that's not normal??

I sent it from BT 0.8.6 Wallet on Windows to CoinJar

The weird thing is only minutes earlier I'd sent 0.001 (again with the recommended fee) to the same address and it got 1 confirmation within a minute.

I still haven't been paid a thing. As I posted a few times before: 0.5BTC disappeared and 0.5BTC never showed up as deposited.

This guy managed to sell his for $6350

http://www.ebay.com/itm/KnC-Titan-300-MH-s-Batch-1-IN-HAND-9-26-Litecoin-Scrypt-ASIC-Miner-NR-1-2-/331327047923?pt=US_Virtual_Currency&hash=item4d24a188f3

If you look at the Sold listings this is higher than many - i believe the difference is that he had his IN HAND the day before the sale closed.

That would not be a huge loss compared to what we're up for - let's consider it.

Beginning of week update:

  • Many more refund request replies sent
  • 16 partial payments sent
  • Replies now contain estimated refund start dates

For everyone who is worried that I may think their request is fraudulent: If your request is real you have nothing to worry about. If I think it is fake I will still reply.

Cool. Can I just get clarification of how best we should provide our info? Do you want TXID's etc?

TXID? Is that to mean 'tax ID'? Like Social Security? If that's what it means...... how on earth is he suppose to verify that even if you give it to him. Did you use your real name on the btc-arbs site??? All you need to do is send your username from the site and the amount you deposited minus any withdraws you made. He can look at his list from there.

lol are you serious?? how long have you been using BTC to not know what a TXID is??

AKW - can you please re-open the Neptune thread? Share holders have a right to post messages - they've invested significant funds in this.

Also - since you are in Europe can you not take advantage of legal options to get refund? I find it quite insulting that you declare our requests for refunds as silly and too late

While we had good faith in KNC it is simply TOO LATE for neptune. It will not make any money and we have options for refund. Please act before it's too late.

BTC ARBs... my turn now - I want the 0.1 left in my account - i tried to withdraw it - nothing. I also want the 0.5 deposit that was never acknowledged.

I have so far had 0.4 returned from my original 0.5 deposit. The later 0.5 was never acknowledged.

I hope the extra units will be added to increase current owner holding.

I think this is the case, as quoted from AKW above "release the *NEW* shares corresponding to PSUs" to me says he is selling additional share to cover the PSU's required for the new units. AKW may give current share owners first refusal on these additional share.

AKW, is the above correct? The new shares are to cover the cost of the PSU's for the additional units?

That was my reading of it too. I'm happy with the way AKW has managed this - it's been no easy task. My only reason for wanting to persue the refund path is simply that I do not believe anymore it will ever be profitable.
