Pool is running smothly now for almost a week.

New miners joining again daily.

Standing on 1.9Gh/s again and slowly getting there. We are still looking for our first block so we still need all the help we can get.

Come on guys join up and help out, the more miners we get the faster we can start solving blocks and hopefully loads of them !!!

ok thank you man im going to hang in i like the site. Cheesy

Kingpin, been having a look at the site and stats. Could not find anything wrong with up, my stats are getting updated fine and shares is displaying correctly.

I am using firefox as browser though please try doing a ctrl F5 while on the page and see if it updates your stats.

The three different stats you see or posted :

Stats gets updated every 5 Minutes and the left side bar is the same php page displayed on every link you click.

Could be that your page is cached (ctrl F5) would help with this.

Hi there,

Ok so the pool is back up again.

We have changed the primary IP to connect to 41.74.101.22:8332

Please point your miners to the new IP and get cracking.

Thanks for your patience.

Hi guys,

Just some updates.

As you all know we have been experiencing major issues with DDos and other attacks. We noticed some jackass used SQL injection to try and corrupt our database, they failed Tongue. Due to the risk to our users we decided to take the pool down over the weekend and work on some security measures to prevent these attacks or at least keep it to a minimum.

I will update on this thread once everything has been completed and the pool will be up again.

Thank you very much for the support. We are doing our best to keep this going.

Regards

DavidR

It seems that someone dont want us to get off the ground.

Yep, trying our best to secure the server as much as possible.

As soon as the server is up everytime the DDos attacks start. We have now put a hard firewall between us and the internet.
Why would somebody do this crap ?

I just can't understand their reasoning behind trying to kill a small startup pool.

Ah thanks

Now I am getting this error,

Output from command php /var/www/cronjobs/cronjob.php ..

PHP Notice:  Trying to get property of non-object in /var/www/cronjobs/cronjob.php on line 157
XML-RPC: xmlrpcmsg::parseResponseHeaders: HTTP error, got response: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error
PHP Fatal error:  Uncaught BitcoinClientException:
  • : Didn't receive 200 OK from remote server. (HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error)

  thrown in  on line 0

Probably because I have not solved any block yet.

PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined function lock() in /var/www/cronjobs/cronjob.php on line 25

In Cronjob Line 25 = lock("cronjob.php");

Any ideas ?

Sukrim,

I have no idea who Meni is and what the algorithm is, this frontend is an Opensource one from this Forum, there is two payout algorithms to select when setting this up. Proportional or Cheat Proof, I chose cheat proof.

The frontend was built by Xenland, modified by simplecoin.us and fixes implemented by Wayno of ozcoin, they deserve all the thanks.

All we did was put it all together and host it on our servers.

Hi Sukrim,

The payout algorithm is hopping proof.

We finance the servers ourselves, we are a ITC/ISP  company based in South Africa and decided to host this for the fun of it, bandwith and hosting included, we decided hey why not join this effort and make some extra income with the machines just standing around.
No transaction fees there is a 0.01BTC charged by the BTC client for the transaction though.

We hope our members donate some of their BTC payouts as the option is available to them in their Account Panel but it is completely up to them.

Hi Wayno,

It Would be great in the spirit of Open Source to publish the fixed code to us. I am also running a pool on the Simplecoin Frontend and this makes me worry. Have not solved a block yet so it would be greatly appreciated before that.
