Re: Where do you stake? Exchange or wallet?
by

Both, some exchanges do not support particular tokens, or exchanges are just trustless. The majority of my coins is placed on different wallets, but I am also holding stacking coins on exchanges like Binance or Huobi.

Re: $16M in Stolen Ethereum from Upbit Were Just Transferred
by

Another big exchange was hacked and it is happening almost every day. Why are big exchanges do not create something like anti-hacking fund to invest in security improvements of the whole crypto industry in general.

BTC is the best shout for now. No altcoin is giving profit, even after outstanding news like mainnet launch or something like that, tokens are dropping in price massively. Just invest in BTC and you would not be wrong.

Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do?
by

Take part in IEOs on big exchanges. They are doing research for their users to ensure that nothing goes wrong. Such exchanges as Binance, Huobi, Kucoin or Okex are a very good choice to avoid participating in scam projects.

It is getting so difficult to make people read something. This is the same with investors, nobody wants to do research, but everybody wants clear answers to their questions / the fastest profit. Do everything on your own and you would not be wrong.

Re: ICO investors are more excited on exchanges than product developments?
by
dcomomal
on 28/11/2019, 08:08:18 UTC
You are telling the real situation of the crypto market now. because all ICO projects are now scams and just want to get as much investor money as possible. after that, they only spent one-tenth of their money to list the exchanges and then they didn't continue to grow their business. because they have no motivation and no investors control them.

Agree and believe that we have a different start up picture. Developers should do their best to bring money back to their investors, but here everything works in another way. Investors are begging devs to list on a good exchange. It does not work like that.

There is nothing more important than to be careful about your data, especially in crypto industry. I always tripple check all transactions that I send, especially receiver address, because such kind of hacking is happening every day.

Re: IEO is going to be slower ?
by

on 27/11/2019, 12:35:07 UTC
It is typical for big exchanges to make a 1 month pause between the projects, so people can get excited. More general problem of IEOs that only several exchanges can provide a good quality solution and 99 percent of others are just garbage.

Hope that Istanbul hardfork will change things, because ETH has done absolutely nothing during the last couple of years. The time has come for the best altcoin to end BTC dominance and open the door to the new era of altcoins.

Re: Top 10 ERC20 ICOs that Actually Were Successful
by

There were a lot of projects that were very successful. ERC-20 based tokens were very popular back in 2017 and such ICOs collected huge amount of money. Not all of them has survived but some are still in top 100 on cmc.

Re: For just $40k volume, this altcoin pumped its market cap to $300 million?
by
dcomomal
on 27/11/2019, 12:32:25 UTC
This is the core problem of all shitcoins. They are getting listed on a garbage exchanges without any real volume and when somebody or even the team members are willing to raise their capitalisation, they are just buying some coins and boosting their cap to the moon.

by

Nothing in the world harms the project more than listing on bad exchanges. Team members cannot even realise that with only one fault, they can ruin the whole project, especially such garbage exchanges as Latoken or Probit.

The worst decision, you can make at the moment is to invest in altcoins. Just look at the market, with no sign of recovery, they are just dying off. Invest in Bitcoin and you would be able to multiply your earnings instead of losing them.

Re: Are ICOs/IEOS/STOs generating funding in 2019?
by
dcomomal
on 23/11/2019, 14:30:56 UTC
90 percent of them are dead, I am not even speaking about ICOs and STOs that stopped delivering profit during 2018, but about IEOs. IEOs are profitable only on some exchanges like Binance, Huobi or Okex, but even those are now struggling to get over the token sale price.

by

The problem is that almost every single exchange is doing wash trading by buying and selling crypto to themselves generating the fake trading volume. The problem is that there are only some exchange with real trading volume with nothing to chose from.

by

95 percent of the whole market are shitcoins without any value, you are right. At the same point, people are making huge money by speculating on those tokens and whales, are holding the biggest part of the market and earning all the time on investors like us.

Re: Is this really a good plan?
by
dcomomal
on 23/11/2019, 14:27:17 UTC
Because the hope is still alive, smart people that are promoting projects do not care about short term profit and hope that within several years, those tokens would increase in price and not fall below the sale price by 10 times.

Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency?
by
dcomomal
on 22/11/2019, 09:12:22 UTC
Most people are investing only in Bitcoin and it is reasonable. ICOs/STOs are collecting peanuts and struggling to collect even their softcap. IEOs are not so profitable anymore, so I believe the majority is just holding their coins.

Re: Is this a new process to reject more user from getting tokens?
by

Some teams are very dishonest and want to reduce the number of allocated tokens for bounties in any way. They are implementing KYC, postponing distribution, banning participants, making strict rules and deadlines. Nothing new to be fair.
