Cant wait until the January release. Ardor is going to go up like crazy because of how many will be trying to exchange all their NXT for Ardor. Might be smart to exchange some now before the price drops out on NXT.
I don't think many people will be trading NXT for Ardr before January because NXT holders will be receiving IGNIS for NXT in the airdrop. If anything, people will be exchanging their other coins for ARDR AND NXT!

thx for your help!So far there are no statements towards this from Bittrex. If I was you I would not hold the coins on Bittrex. I would download the desktop wallet and transfer the coins over there!
Its always better to have control over the private keys for events like this. Better safe, than sorry. And the NXT wallet is really easy to use, no hassle in installing it, its done in a matter of minutes.

You have to have your NXT coins on the wallet, but if you hold ARDR, it is okay to keep them on Bittrex as they said they will support the 1:1 trade and get rid of the old ones.

I am holding NXT for quite some time, now I get a chance to book some profit. However after seeing this IGNIS news, I am thinking of hold these coins. But what I don't understand is, how IGNIS will be credited ?

You should keep it on your wallet. If you hold them on poloniex/bittrex - you dont get free IGNIS, but Poloniex/Bittrex will get it instead of you. What the reason to any exchange to share their free profit from NXT of users to anybody?
Thanks your revert on this. But I am still not clear, how anyone can deposit the IGNIS coin's into NXT wallet. Is this possible to deposit different coins (IGNIS) into other coin (NXT) wallet?
Most of times exchanges use to share the bonus. For example when they forked BTC, I have received the credit into my exchange for BitcoinGold and BitcoinCash. Not sure whether they will do the same or not in NXT / IGNIS case
You will receive .5 IGNIS for every 1 NXT you hold in your wallet. You do NOT need to do anything except keep it in your wallet before the snapshot on December 28th. You can deposit ARDR into the NXT wallet, as well. THE IGNIS will show up after the snapshot in your wallet and will NOT be ready for immediate trading until all currency clears.

No one knows if NXT will decrease when IGNIS is distributed, but as of now IGNIS/ETH futures trading is at $0.90 (little more than double NXT which is at $0.44).. if you do the math although it's .5/1 .. it's basically a 1/1 airdrop assuming numbers stay consistent.

The current "ARDR" is only a token on the NXT blockchain.
When Ardor is released, you will get real Ardor coins (not tokens!) on the Ardor blockchain for the ARDR tokens. That's the whole purpose of the token. So there is no "free money" this time, sorry
The ARDR tokens on the NXT blockchain will probably be burnt after the Ardor launch ... or become worthless, the same way than the JLRDA tokens.
Thanks for the post .. so overall.. The Current ARDR Token will be given a 1:1 ARDR coin at the time of the Airdrop and the ARDR tokens will be burned leaving only the coins useful.
Whoever holds NXT will be given .5/1 IGNIS. So if you hold 1000 NXT, you will then have 500 IGNIS and 1000 NXT. In order to receive the ARDR COINS and IGNIS, one must transfer off an exchange to the client.
Please tell me if I'm wrong about this summary.
My question is: Will the new ARDR coins and IGNIS coins be available for trade on exchanges? I'm assuming "NXT" won't be affected? I currently use Bittrex so my plan is to transfer both ARDR and NXT over before XMAS and hold them until after the airdrop is done. Any thoughts.. suggestions? Thank you.

Hey guys, is anyone's Ark Client not making the correct dollar amount calculation with regards to the number of Ark shares? My client's price has been stuck on $2.95 for the past couple of days even though when I'm writing this it's currently at $3.26. I've rebooted my client and computer, but no change. Any suggestions? That's just because of the damn Bitcoin Fork Story, hopefully it will end on the 15th of November. Upcoming Bitcoin Silver Fork in December is a mess, I hope people will ignore it.I think it will end on the 15th, but don't think BTC will dump as many people think it will. What do you guys think about the fork and is anyone interested on how it will affect people who hold BTC on coinbase.com? It's where I buy my coins and they keep sending out emails saying anyone holding BTC on coinbase before the fork will receive an equal amount of Bitcoin2x. Thoughts on what BTC might drop to and/or what B2X will open at price wise?

I have a question (probably a noob one) about voting for delegates. For example, if I vote for a delegate with 50 of my ARK (costs 1 ARK) and then I add more ARK to my wallet from an exchange, do I need to vote again (1 more ARK), or does the 50 more ARK I add automatically be applied to the delegate I voted for? I hardly believe on NEO, this coin is on the biggest exchange market of the world, it will rise surely in long term, it is with this current market cap a safe investment.
Completely agree, holding this Coin since March and will hold for very long time, my best invest beside Ark.Ark is the best!! Love the coin and the community. Best devs and most interactive. Amazing stuff.

I'm confused how the ARK Pick'em Pool is counting up points. The Browns did not beat the Steelers, so how are the Browns showing up as green? Bears are also showing up as green.

A great team and a great vision. While other altcoins get pumped and dumped for speculation, the real solid projects will sustain and come out on top. The way I've been thinking about it is like the internet boom. Google, Yahoo, IBM, Microsoft, Apple, AOL, etc.. were all the solid projects coming out of that era, while others were speculative.. they came out on top. Think BTC, LTC, ETH, ARK, DASH, ZEC.. although maybe not as sexy anymore for day trading because the insane initial gains aren't there, they will be in 1-3-5-10 years while other coins and projects die off.

So how far do you guys think we are from actual ICOs start happening on NEO network? What is their current state of development? I read the paper and went through their website but I think I missed some info on what are they doing with NEO at this very moment?
Also what do you think is the main reason for the price surge in last 2 days? I woke up yesterday and price almost doubled over night lol

The first two NEO ICOs are Red Pulse and ALIS Media. The City of Zion team is working on porting various dAPPs from the Ethereum platform onto NEO (among other matters). The NEO core developers are working on providing support for more programming languages for the NEO platform, so that it will become increasingly easy to deploy dAPPs onto NEO. I believe the NEO course on how to create smart contracts is also being translated from Chinese into English. Personally I hope the next international visit of Da Hongfei and Eric Zhang will be to South Korea and after that Singapore would seem like a good location to me. Elastos will develop an operating system on which NEO can run securely (which negates hacking, phishing and other security threats). The NEO's team primary focus at the moment is the development of its ecology and in that ecology developers play a most important role. NEO will also be listed on 2 of the 3 main exchanges in Japan (might be near the end of September), an Indian exchange just added NEO and a lot of other exchanges across the globe will want to add it now that it is a top 10 blockchain with massive volume ($523 million in the last 24 hours). The NEO team is also working on decentralising the network more, but I believe the support for more programming languages takes precedence for now. New NEO wallets are also in development including hardware wallets.
The reason for the price surge is that NEO is a first class platform and people start to realise that NEO can easily solve various issues that most other blockchains struggle with such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. It has a proper concensum mechanism, supports a broad array of programming languages, will have the ability for cross-chain integration, will become proof against quantum computing, can reach thousand transactions per second now and in optimised state even 10,000, whilst Bitcoin and Ethereum will have to compromise on security to reach a fraction of that and NEO is by far the most energy efficient blockchain. Besides that NEO will enjoy far greater support in China than any other blockchain which is quickly becoming the greatest economic powerhouse in the world which will only be further enhanced by the NEO blockchain. In the beginning of March 2017 Ethereum had a market cap similar to what NEO now has, so personally I would not underestimate how quickly the further deployment of the NEO blockchain can take place and as more experience has been acquired along the way, the potential could be there to do this even quicker now. From what I have seen the founders of NEO will however not compromise the quality of the blockchain for speed. They genuinely want to create the best smart economy platform the world has ever seen (although they are too humble to state it like that).

This is incorrect. The $10,000 USD minimum applies only to the PRE-SALE phase. But once the token sale is open to the public, there is no such requirement. It says so right here: https://coin.red-pulse.com/#ico ....And 1 NEO gets you 1,000 RPX.

is it possible to claim directly in the neo web wallet?. I see the unclaimed gas balance but if i press the claim button, nothing happens. Does ist take some time ?
If I'm not mistaken, unless you have a very large amount of NEO, it will take a while for your GAS to accumulate enough to show up in your NEO Client wallet or NEON wallet.
My GAS still is at 0 because I only have about 20 coins in there, I assume it will hit 1 when the decimals make a whole number? Does anyone have decimals in GAS or is it only whole numbers?

I've did some ICOs in the past and usually they don't accept payments from exchanges directly.You better transfer funds to yourself and send from your wallet. Worked for me everytime (so far I've done only ETH-based ICOs)

Does anyone know anywhere I can find official support for NEO? I had invested in the ICO and hadn't claimed my ICO tokens, I just claimed them 4 days ago. In the website, it says that tokens should be sent to my address within 1 week. Anybody knows when this is happening? Or else I'll just have to wait!
From what I have seen when your NEO has been sent they often do not show up unless you select the 'Rebuild index' option in your wallet. At least that is what worked for two other NEO/Antshares ICO investors.

If I am holding NEO on an exchange, will it be possible for me to buy Red Pulse (RPX) pre sale tokens during the pre sale on August 20th? Does anyone have an idea of how this will work?
I personally do not see why that would be a problem. I think the only requirement for participation in any ICO is to make a payment to a specific wallet address (belonging to Red Pulse in this case) and you probably have to provide some personal details. Making that payment from your exchange address should be about just as easy as doing it from your wallet, so you should be fine. Just keep in mind that Bittrex has outgoing transfer fees, so in case you decide to transfer from Bittrex you have to add those fees to the total as otherwise less NEO will arrive at the Red Pulse wallet. At the moment Bittrex charges 0.1 NEO for sending them to another wallet, whilst Binance charges no transfer fees or transaction fees till at least the 24th of August.
