I think we will see something similar, but in a lighter version.
This also depends on the price of BTG after coming to exchanges.

The BCH story showed that you can earn good money on selling forked currency, so people think this will be another case

Yes. You only need BTC to be in place on the moment of fork. Then you can empty the wallet. The initian BTG balance will be calculated based on the exact block.

Nice description, thank you.

Do you have any public info on the project details yet?

Am I right that you can only offer fixed payments?

I might be interested in posting a summary video on a personal website or something like that, however for YouTube I am aiming for my videos to be 10+ minutes. I want to give people quality information. However ( I think you would like this feature ) I will be posting a document/powerpoint of the content I talk about in the video in the description. That way if you want to re look at my information you don't have to re watch a 10+ minute video. This is give people a option to download all my content and keep in a folder on their computer for easy use.

10-30 mins is alright, as long as it if full of information. I would suggest fine editing and cutting the parts with "eeh", "yeah we gonna wait on this for a minute to load", etc.
Also, as you are not making a lifestyle blog, you probably shouldn't film just your face all the time. I really like videos with good presentations, as if you are studying a course somewhere. The presentation can be vary simple, but serves as a good support for your speech and helps with structuring.

If you have ideas, i suppose you would develop and test them, not your coding skills.
Sometimes I lack some tech expertise, but knowing project/product management is more critical than coding if you aim to become a project leader.

the main problem with videos is that it takes a huge amount of time to watch em.
I really enjoy short and 'packed' videos.
Check out these two channels, I really enjoy their style. No bshit and blahblah.

I am offering development of cryptocurrencies, like

- create a Bitcoin-like currency
- create a Ethereum-like currency
- setup a multipool

and many others

Inexpensive development services, send private message for details.

Can you be more specific on the range of your services?
Are you writing ICO smart contracts or creating full token ecosystem?
Thanks

Also, I would consider buying a pair. If you lose one, you can always restore on the other one almost immediately, and not wait for another wallet to arrive for a week.

I didn't think about buy a second.  Do others support this suggestion?  I bought a Nano S fwiw.

It's completely up to you, but keep in mind that you would be cut out of your funds for a week or so if you lose your wallet

The more forks, the more dilluted bitcoin will become. This may eventually end up in replacing with one of the forks

My friend is investing in Confideal. i know that it promotes transparency, making essential business tools available without legal or coding skills. why not

I'm not sure Confideal is a good idea. Another "ethereum killer", how they are different from Tezos, for exmple?

oh, i just think to invest in confideal.. I read a lot of good comments about it. "ethereum killer"? Why?

sorry, missed it, i was talking about Universa. was reading two projects at the same time.
don't have an opinion about C yet.

cmon man, just buy BTC. Most ICO's are scam now. You wont find a really nice one. And asking here is also not a really good idea. You cant assess users' expertise.

Re: Upcoming Bitcoin Hard Fork

From what I heard btc gold sounds kind of shady to me(pre-mine, lack of information).
If it works and it is worth a significant amount of money then I'm afraid people will start doing hard forks for no reason and that the btc community will just support them and put pressure on exchanges to accept these new coins.

pre-mined hardfork? sounds funny.
hard forks cant be done for no reason, because someone has to mine the currency afterwards.

They're both pretty much the same.
The fact Trez got hacked at least says they have found one vulnerability.
Ledger has not.

So you will need:
1 virtual win10 lagging machine
50 NEO to contribute
1 postponed ICO
couple of KYC/Whitelist/etc forms
50 pages of manual on how to participate (we're not in 2016, guys)

Put all this together with the right timing to send the funds and what you get? No, not the RPX tokens, you're wrong. You get frozen NEO which cost 25% less already!

wow.

Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country?
by

Some states are accepting bitcoin even in exchange for their citizenship.
http://uk.businessinsider.com/vanuatu-accepts-bitcoin-for-citizenship-payment-2017-10

Anyway, generally, everything that can increase country's payment balance (lessen the debt) or GDP improves the economy.
Bitcoin itself can really help countries with underdeveloped financial sphere — no reliable banking sector, volatile national currency, etc. Also, it can become a new globalization way for countries under sanctions like Cuba or Iran.

Venezuela is going to be first to try solving economic problems with bitcoin
